Upon pulling up at 10 pm to check we found the hotel had been evacuated. Everyone was standing outside. The staff there would get angry if i tried to ask questions about if we were going to be able to stay there and what was going on. I finally talked to a member of the fire department after waiting around for 45 min and they said there was a gas leak and the hotel was uninhabitable. We were left trying to find another hotel on a busy sold out football weekend for double the cost while other guests were allowed in one at a time to retrieve their belongings. I know the employees couldn’t have helped the gas leak but they very rude when people were just trying to figure out what was going on.

I was up set that the pool had no heat. I called the week before to check the pool out and they told me it was all good. My grandkids were sad. That was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. The bathroom faucet leaked. The showerhead was very harsh on body.

Wow was this a rough one night stay. We came up for a memorial service the next day, so we only needed a place to lay our heads, but I wish we had chosen somewhere else. I booked two king beds according to hotels.com, but came to find out that the listing was incorrect and that there are no kings at all anywhere in this hotel. That was a bummer, but I wish that had been our only issue. The room smelled musty, the blinds were operated by a remote that did not work so we couldn't get them to open, the TV had an error screen and would not connect, the air conditioning unit was so loud and was on and off all night, which meant we intermittently woke up in a sweat. We wanted to use the pullout couch for my daughter, but the mattress was covered in large stains and the hotel's only solution was to provide an extra mattress cover. And finally, the hallway absolutely reeked of weed. I was duped by the idea that I could count on a Holiday Inn Express to meet a certain standard, especially at the price we paid for our room (which was comparable to a much newer hotel that's close by), but this missed the mark big time and made for a really rough night on top of an already sad weekend.

Was upset that my bathroom was dirty and someone had left cloths in closet. This tells me that the cleaners were lazy and not attentive. Shelf in bathroom had dirty sticky something goody, and clean face clothes displayed on top . Gross

Biggest complaint was our room faced the parking lot of the comfort Inn next door and the floodlights made it like trying to sleep on the sun. No exaggeration. No black out curtains hung a bedspread and towels still was super bright. Can’t believe we are the first to complain. A simple black out curtain would solve this easily.

The staff was very nice, and there was a decent amount of space in the room, but our room was not listed in the directions when you get off the elevator (all other rooms directed either left or right), and the beds were very uncomfortable. None of us got a good nights sleep. There was a decent variety for breakfast, and what we had all tasted good, but it was all lukewarm, and we got there about 30 min after breakfast started.

We had to take an overnight trip to Maryville, Tennessee from 30 miles South of Atlanta Georgia, we arrived ahead of 3pm check-in and the room was already cleaned and ready and we were able to check-in early.Friendly staff went above and beyond. It was a safe area, just off I-75. There are lots of places to eat, get fuel or shop. If you are in the Lenoir City area I would definitely recommend this to others for their travels to Tennessee.

Bathroom not updated correctly. I overheard after we requested a 1st floor room that they keep the 1st floor for people with dogs. I feel they should had mentioned it at booking time. The staff can be more friendly. Also they need to learn to keep staff arguments away from customers.
