Property was being renovated but not informed on web site. Parking lot closed, had been slurried. Pool was closed, restaurant closed. Lobby no air conditioning. Room was lovely and person who checked us in was lovely. There was another Marriot property a 100 yards away. We should have been informed of the extent of the condition of the hotel.

What a joke…nothing worked! Pool and hot tub were out of order, computers did not work, coffee didn’t work, phones didn’t work, fireplace in the lobby didn’t work…and of course we counted on the pool and hot tub. We always book a hotel with both for our kids to have free entertainment. What a disappointment. Take pride in your hotel and fix things when they are broken!

This property is heavily under construction. The pool is out of service. The front desk told us to call other hotels and see if they’d let us come swim at their pools. The pullout bed linens were not in the room and when I called to inquire, the front desk told me to come get them. The “Bistro” is just a Starbucks inside, and the “made to order breakfast available until 10a” was not available at all. No food options, even at the Starbucks counter. The rooms were fairly nice once you got inside them, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here until they finish their renovations. I expected significantly more from a Marriott property, and the value was way under the cost of the room. Maybe they’ll be done next year?

To begin with the parking lot was closed for repaving, the pool was closed, the onsite cafe was closed... so basically everything you want in a hotel was not available. As far as the room goes, the key card reader didn't work, the refrigerator was set to zero so the food I brought in went to waste and my air conditioner condensation line was clogged so half of the room's carpet was soaked. On the bright side, they were renovating so future travelers might get to take advantage of a nice parking lot, cafe, pool and a functional room. It was also very close to a large variety of restaurants.

NOTE: this hotel is currently under renovation (something I wish I had known before hand) with several things not working. That said, the hotel was fairly nice and you can see where they are working to make it better. Our room was nice but the bathroom seemed a little dated. The hot tub wasn't working when we were there but the indoor pool was nice. The staff were also all friendly and helpful.

The hot tub was broken, the workout room air conditioning was not working, the 2nd floor ice machine was broken, our room was hot, there was a buzzing noise that kept us up throughout the night, and the trashcans outside were practically overflowing. I would not recommend this hotel and believe we deserve a refund.

The person that checked me in was horribly rude. I was charged $75 I wasn’t expecting and when I asked about it she snapped at me and proceeded to get even more rude. The room is horribly dirty. Stains all over the floor. The windows haven’t haven cleaned. Dust and handprints all over them. The bathroom was dirty.

Dirt on the floors upon arrival, we found a few roaches, we only had two towels, lobby restrooms had no toilet paper. Bed cover had what looked like a couple drops of blood. Could not get front desk service to answer phone.

The room smelled like urine and not sure if it was human or from a dog or cat. The pillows and bedding covers all had a weird smell and my kids and myself were all itchy when laying on it. We stayed since there wasn’t any availability at other places at the moment but I probably got an hour of sleep with how uncomfortable I was. It was supposed to be a pit stop to rest before continue road trip but that stop didn’t help at all. Would not recommend this place to anyone. The front desk lady was friendly though.

Not clean. Toilet was dirty inside and out. There was urine on the floor. We checked in late and since we have young children we decided to clean the bathroom ourselves and not have the hassle of changing rooms. When I wiped down the floor it didn’t appear to have been cleaned for a very long time. The tile is dark and on a white towel it left black dirt and grime. We had to ask for sheets for the pull out couch and had to go to the desk to get swim towels. They were given without a problem it was just a hassle to keep going back to the front desk. $12 for parking is ridiculous and not posted anywhere on hotels.com.

Staff were great and easy to work with. Our room had trash on the floor but otherwise it was clean. We got in late and our room was 85 degrees when we got in. The tv also did not work. Remote would light up but it just would not turn on. Breakfast was nice.

Every one of the staff was amazing from checking in, talking with the cleaning ladies and checking out. It’s a nice quiet hotel. Have more trips planned to Amarillo will definitely be staying here for those times, as well. Oh and it’s a great price!!

I am very disappointed, I was charged by hotels.com which was expected and then I was “ mistakenly” charged by the hotel. I have called 5 times and was told 3 different stories. First I was told I would be reimbursed in 3 business days, then 3-10 and then I was told it would be 10 minutes! Lastly, I was told the GM is busy and would call me back. Two more phone calls and 15 days later I still have not been reimbursed. It is only $130, but still what if this was their $.

We arrived around 11:30pm to check in. There was one employee working, Stephanie, and a line of 3 people ahead of us waiting. The first people had some sort of issue and she did not wrap up with them until right at midnight. I assumed it would go faster once they were gone, but no. We did not end up getting to our room until nearly 1am. Stephanie was typing information in with a single finger, and leaving the front desk in the middle of interactions for several minutes at a time with no explanation. When we did get to our room it was fine, but a conditioner bottle had been left from a previous guest which makes me question how well it was cleaned if that was missed.

Nice and convenient for travelers. There are several dining options right next door, we walked to Kabuki Japanese steakhouse, had a good dinner and enjoyed watching the chef. The hotel could use some updates, the beds especially, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

The room was amazing and a great price! It was a great amount of space for my family. The check in process was less friendly. It was extremely unfortunate that the bar was closed and no breakfast offered over the weekend since that’s a big reason we booked.

Things were clean and the bed comfortable. My advice would be to make sure that if breakfast is offered that it says free breakfast. I thought it would have a free breakfast, but it actually had an option to dine in and pay for breakfast. For someone that has a large family, I enjoy the convenience of the free breakfast that other hotels provide.

The hotel was spotless and the beds were comfortable. We got to our room and the tv cable was out. We tried everything we could but never got it working. I booked this hotel because of the continental breakfast but how I was surprised to learn that they don’t serve breakfast on the weekends. They also charge for breakfast which is outlined in the property details. I personally won’t be returning to this hotel or brand if this is the same across the board. These may seem like minor inconveniences but when you’ve been driving for 12-13 hours, the little things matter. The biggest inconvenience is advertising that you have free breakfast then you wake up to “we don’t serve breakfast on the weekends but coffee is available to buy.” When I have coffee in the room.
