Should be called “ Sorry for the inconvenience “ hotel. Ice maker for all floors worked half the time elevator was out of service. Pool was out of service. Bed was not very comfortable. Staff was friendly.

The surrounding area looks a little sketch. But the staff there is amazing and the breakfast was really decent. We will stay again. Oh- they are renovating parts of the hotel. The pool is closed but the hotel next door has opened their pool facilities for the guests.

The pool was green with trash in it. The body wash container was empty. Very few channels on the TV. Nothing for children to watch. There was a hair in the bathtub. Beds were not very comfortable. Curtains would not shut all the way. Was hard to go to sleep.

We arrived for check in at 4:15p.m. Our room was not ready an we had a wait. We figured we would go for a swim in the pool while waiting....well pool was out of order and we were told we could go to their sister hotel next door to swim. There were 3 hotels sharing 1 pool, crazy packed so we skipped that. After finally being assigned a room, ready to shower after being at the beach all day, we only had one towel. My husband called the front desk, no towels were available as they were being laundered. We neber received another towel and shared that 1. We could not get ice as the ice machine was out of order...you guessed it!! We had to go next door to the other hotel to get ice. The bed was comfortable, the tiny pillows were not. The hot breakfast was really good, great variety.

The hotel had duct tape hold up wallpaper in hallways and lobby. The room was clean, but bed and pillows were not confortable at all. There is limited parking and they charge $3.50 to park. The area the hotel was in a good location to restaurants but not of construction going on.

The staff was extremely friendly; however, it appears that the hotel is undergoing renovations, which impacted our stay. We selected this hotel due to its outside pool, but unfortunately, it was closed, with green, dirty water and construction materials scattered around the property. The hotel's actual appearance differed significantly from the pictures. Upon arrival, I remarked that it seemed we were at the wrong location. The wallpaper was secured with blue duct tape. Although we were permitted to use the neighboring pool, it was old, small, and extremely cold, being an indoor pool. Bed was very uncomfortable but the room was decent size and mostly clean.

When we got to the hotel the kids were excited to go swim. Unfortunately the outdoor pool was closed and looked like a swamp with floating turds in it! When we told the front desk they sent us to the hotel next door for the indoor pool. Which is great at least there was a pool except we had to walk a ways to get there and we had a disabled person with us. We moved past that. The beds were very hard on a wood platform. It stuck out farther than the bed and stubbed our feet on it.. slip past that.. breakfast was good but they couldn’t keep up with the amount of patrons eating. told housekeepers to change linen and trash only. Got back from a long day of outings only to want to rest and take a shower. No towels and the trash still overfilled. Called desk. They responded with we could go get it and bring the trash down. That the housekeepers had checked off they cleaned the room. They did not. Finally after back and forth the guy said he would come up in 20mins to change linen and trash. It’s a nice hotel just needs to be upfront about the pool situation and get better beds!

This property should in no way have an 8.4 rating on Expedia. In fact, it is so bad it should not even be listed on Expedia!! The elevator has chunks of wood missing from the interior walls. The elevator was working intermittently on 1 day of our stay. The ice machine is broken and we were told we would have to walk to the hotel next to us to get ice. It was over 100* during our stay. They should offer to walk next door and get us ice, but they didn’t. The swimming pool is not working. The rooms smelled of mildew and really impacted my eyes. The bathtub had breaks in the porcelain and there were rust spots. The only bright spot in our stay was the sweet lady who made the breakfast. It was really tasty with a variety of options.You could tell she cooked and served with love. Would i recommend this property? Absolutely, most definitely NOT!!!

Ac was not working , kids couldn’t use the pool. Nothing was advertised about the pool being closed. But we can say staff was nice and helpful.

Pictures do not portray the actual hotel look. No memtion of construction, pool, exercise room not available. Personnel and breakfast server were pleasant and professional.

I noticed a “colored line” under the bed sheet that turned out to be a mattress pad, not a wrap around mattress cover. The mattress itself was stained horribly. I notified the front desk and they did offer to move us but we had already unpacked and settled in. He then told me that they could switch out the mattress in the morning, which I was happy with. I moved the mattress pad over to better cover the stain and made the best of it. The next morning, I reminded the front desk staff about the mattress( a different man than the night before). He replied that they don’t have extra mattresses laying around, that they could move us. I made sure that they had a clean room right then, they assured me they did, so we packed up all our stuff. I heard them talking in the hallway and invited them in to look at the mattress. The housekeeper said that all their mattresses were stained like this, it’s a two star hotel and kids do things. Seriously?! They could not find a room with a better mattress to move us to! We ended up agreeing that we’d stay in the same room, unpack, with the understanding that they would bring in a “less” stained mattress with a wrap around, fully covered mattress cover. They brought in one equally disgusting, with the same top pad that only covers about 2/3 on the bed. The first photo is the first mattress, the second is the replacement mattress. Gross!

Horrendous place. Filthy Smelled nasty Warm ac Poorly maintained. Do not go there

Bathroom mold everywhere tub area. Constant smell of wet carpet throughout 2nd floor. Water leaking ceiling in breakfast room area. Final day there they had a flooding to the 1st floor hall. They should demolish this location and start over. One bright note was the older lady that prepared our breakfast. Very nice and polite.

Dirty room, dirty toilet with crap stains on seat. Sheets were stained and didn’t look like they had been washed. Tv didn’t work, why is this called a suite? Only a refrigerator in the room, no microwave, no table, no coffee maker, no water glasses, nothing. Fruit flies in the breakfast area. Worker there was not fazed by it especially after she opened a jam container with a bunch of flies coming out. She still proceeded to refill it like that.

Clean room and bathroom, I was able to get a good night rest.

The facility was under renovation which we understood and forgave the smell in the lobby, but the room we were given was dirty. The floor had construction worker boot marks all over. The shower floor was so dirty we had to wear flip flops. In addition the hot breakfast was not refilled after 9:15am despite the property “serving” breakfast until 10am.

Clean, quiet, and spacious. I would definetly stay at this hotel again. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were clean. The shower was very spacious and came with big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. My room came with a wireless charger on one of the tables which was very neat. The sofa bed in my room was very modern. Over all 10/10; highly reccomend.

The only issue I had was I couldn’t take a shower because the bathtub was really dirty. The toilet also looks like it doesn’t get cleaned often. Breakfast was really good and the associates we really nice.

The hotel had wet carpet issues throughout the common areas, the tv in the room didn’t work, and there was a funky smell in the room and in the common areas.

The people were super nice. The only issue I had was I couldn’t take a shower because the bathtub was really dirty. The toilet also looks like it doesn’t get cleaned often. Other than that it was great. Breakfast was really good and the lady serving all the breakfast in the buffet was very nice.

This particular hotel appeared to be old. It wasn't as updated as it should have been. The A/C in our room wasn't working very well. The owners of the hotel should have finished the remodel before accepting guests.

The room was musty smelling and older. Room was not cleaned the best. Bathtub is pealing. We will not stay at this location again. I was expecting a little nicer for the price.

Television did not work; we asked the front desk clerk for assistance and she came to the room, but did not know what was wrong with the television. We also informed her that the telephone in the room was not working and she said she didn’t know about that. The bathtub had stains on it, and it made it look very uninviting. The room itself was dark, as there is only one lamp and then a small light as you enter. The TV and the wiring looked like it had just been pulled off the wall and placed on the stand. Hotel could definitely use a renovation and remodel.

Nice modern property and room. However what it had in appearance, it lacked with the amount of noise in the room. The walls and ceiling were paper thin and you could hear noise from all rooms around and above. Breakfast was a good 3 star experience. Location is great. Plenty of options for shopping and eating close by.

Property had been renovated, but smelled "construction" bad. Wires from TV sloppily hanging down the wall. Part of wall cut out to access outlets. Curtains hung wrong. Stained shower floor. Lobby DID NOT LOOK ANYTHING SHOWN ON WEBSITE. JULIE was nice at check-in, honest, and helpful. Chairs in room were VERY uncomfortable and not usable. Not worth what we paid.

I like some of the upgrades in these rooms, but not all of them. There are several outlets in the room, but some work and some don't. For example, there's one on the nightstand that only works when the overhead lights are on, and the other one doesn't work at all. Also, there's no way to connect to Amazon Prime on the TV. It gives you the option, but when you choose it, it just says "cannot connect to the internet". I'm not sure how I feel about these upgrades.

We had to wait two hours after check in time. They didn’t even notify us before 3pm. And then didn’t even know how long it would be for us to check in. They said 45 minutes. I gave them an hour and called back and they still weren’t ready.

Property shows some age and has the typical musty seaside smell of all but the newest hotels. Nice, clean room. Nice and helpful staff.

Theresa Garza and the woman at the front desk were absolutely just amazing. Very sweet and was able to help me with my concerns. The renovations were not a problem and the room perfect.

First off the clerk was rude not friendly at all. I asked her a question and answered very rude like I was bothering her. Next the room I asked for was with walk in shower got a tub. No soap or shampoo.

Great place to stay at and rest. Staff is more than welcoming and friendly!

This is our second time here in three months and we loved the quietness in the neighborhood and it's a prime location near shopping centers and restaurants. The staff, regardless the hour, are all polite, respectful, and demonstrate initiative. It was consistent last time and this time. Keep it up. We will definitely be staying here again.

Convenient location

It is an older hotel, however, it was very clean. The staff was kind and accommodating. Veronica at the front desk was very approachable and kind. The cleaning staff was quick to give us extra wash towels when we requested them. The outside is well lit which makes it more comfortable coming back to the hotel late at night. Breakfast had a big variety of eats. The location is great. Close to many stores, restaurants and not to far from Padre Island. Will definitely stay there again.

Got there @ 3:45 to check in. They didn't have any rooms ready yet check in supposed to be at 3:00. Talking about 45 minutes to get a room ready. Location was good room was pretty clean. Don't know if I'd stay there again.

My stay was overall great. The only issue was the side door closest to my room did not open from outside so i had to come in through the main entrance. We enjoyed tbe complimentary breakfast. They had quite a few options to choose

Originally booked the hotel for a two-night stay but only stayed one. The service on check in was lackluster to say the least with the desk attendant telling me that some rooms in the hotel were experiencing a TV outage but he didn't know if the room I was checking into was affected...it was. The room smelled of mildew upon entry and there were ants in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast also left a lot to be desired. At least the coffee was good. I would not stay there again and it is by far my worst experience with the Fairfield brand.

Our stay was ok. They were very welcoming at check in and they had our room ready as soon as we checked in. The pool was mediocre at best but it was nice to cool off for a little while even though the water felt like a bath tub. The breakfast was great especially the French toast. They still have a lot of renovating to do.

Breakfast was not prepared timely for the guest. Guest had to wait 20-30 minutes before food was replinished in the food warmers.

Clean hotel with nice staff and great breakfast. Will be coming back.
