Nice place. Great breakfast every morning. I was there for a business trip late October 2024. The whole hotel (first floor) was under renovation during this time. So, the washer/dryer, gym, etc. were all unaccessible during that time. Once the renovation work is complete, I would recommend booking a stay. Hotel is located in a very convenient part of Harlingen. You may want to call ahead to see if renovations are complete.

Pleasantly surprised by the property. They were doing renovations so the check in desk and breakfast is moved but wasn’t an issue. Only thing we didn’t care for was the other guests letting their children run down the hall but can’t blame the facility for that, that’s crappy parenting. Otherwise no complaints.

Dont get me wrong i liked the upgrade, but when it was time to relax by the pool it was filled with teeneage kids that werent quests they were just dropped of car after car of teenagers. The manager didnt even care about it. This weekend trip was mostly based on relaxing by the pool after a long day shopping around town. So we didnt have a chance to unwind with all this distraction. Thanks

We got a refund for our stay. The building was under construction and smelled of mildew as soon as you walked in the building. Plastic sheeting hanging in all the doorways and music blasting in the building. I just didn’t think we would enjoy our stay for $250 dollars for two nights! No thank you!

Everything was excellent except where I was parking. The o ly problem was there were to many birds in the trees and my vehicle had bird poop all over for the few days that I was there. Luckily it did rain heavily that wash my vehicle. It was not the fault of the hotel.

There were roaches. I saw a big one crawling across the floor inside the entryway and I thought, well maybe it came from outside, but then I saw a medium sized one in my room. I am typically a clean person and I don’t leave trash or food laying around so I wanted to know why there was a roach in my room, and when I moved the small sofa sleeper, I saw there was trash and old french fries under it, which means they don’t move it to vacuum underneath it.

Good space in the room, but the room smelled like moldy A/C and caused awful allergies. Was OVERWHELMINGLY BAD. Ridiculously scratchy sheets - why are SHEETS hard to do right these days?? Bad pillows. Horrible "breakfast", just wow.

Hotel’s being renovated right now, so in the day it might be noisy. But for a 1-night stay, this hotel was perfect. Comfy bed, huge room (you’d think that, but I have been at places where the term “suite” is used loosely), and the age of the place gives it some character (even if the age also means that the walls are thin). Only major complaint is the WiFi is dial-up speed slow. Otherwise, good hotel and will stay again

Such a beautiful hotel. We stayed only one night but we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are modern, new and spacious. Beautifully done bathroom and little kitchenette, sofa, two tvs, comfortable beds, amazing! Breakfast was delicious and there were lot of options to choose from.

Toilet would not flush completely at times , no facial tissue in bathroom, tub was very slippery you had to hold on to safety bars ,felt like I was on a slip and slide. Some staff at front friendly others not too much at checkout time I’m the one that said Thank you instead of the clerk saying thank you to us for staying there.

The check in was quick and painless. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The blackout shades allowed me to sleep late and coffee was right there when I wanted it. The bed was very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were great! Breakfast was more than I expected...ample variety of hot or cold foods. Overall, an awesome place with welcoming staff. Will definitely be back!

Checked in around midnight & the gentleman helping me was so friendly. They are doing some renovations but it was still clean & tidy. Room that I reserved was better than I had expected, the AC was turned on, it was clean, smelled nice & very spacious. I will definitely book this hotel again.

The staff at this facility were very helpful and friendly. They were renovating and still maintained their helpfulness. The breakfast offered was hot and the coffee was good. We will stay again here.

Hard to get into the location and even harder to get out. The website made no mention of the remodel, would have been nice to know. The price was not a value based on the remodel. Would go there again once the remodel is completed. The staff was very friendly.
