Everything was good. I always stay here when I’m visiting. This visit, I wasn’t pleased. The floors stayed filthy in the lobby and the elevator. The breakfast was okay. It was 100 degrees so we decided to go to the pool. The pool was filthy and the common sitting area was a hot mess. The cleaning has gone down hill.

The happy hour was wonderful. We visited with so many strangers and had some good laughs. Of course, it happened to be a cold miserable February weekend and we were all stuck inside. No pool dipping at 35 degrees.

Breakfast was a great selection of hot items (eggs, sausage, French toast, waffles, oatmeal, with a wide variety of cereals, fruit, pastries, juices, etc). Outdoor pool was clean and private. First floor gym. Separate seating area just off the lobby with a fireplace. We stayed in a King suite that was quiet, clean and comfortable. They also have a mini-market available for those middle of the night snacking needs. No road noise heard. Property was clean and inviting. We will definitely stay here again.

The housekeeping service was excellent. Place very well kept. Found a couple of lizards in the pool. Still number one place for us to stay at. Oh! Forgot about the breakfast it is the best.

No hot water overnight. Was told it would be fixed in the evening. Was not. Was next afternoon. Hot tub not working as advertised. A lot of marijuana use in the bldg. Breakfast good and coffee available all hours.

We always stay here every time we come to Harlingen without any problems. This time our room 202 didn’t stay cool. The AC was barely functioning. When showering, the water retained in the tub. The water was up to my ankles. The painting is peeling off the walls and the bath towels were stained with blood or rust. No accommodations were made. And when I tried to redeem my $10 reward, the lady was kinda rude. I was told “next you need to tell me when checking in!!” I’m upset with this stay. The elevator was filthy with food stains also.

From the rooms to the hallways down to the dining area it was unsanitary. they didn’t even clean the dining area from the morning breakfast From what I saw when I checked in at 10pm I know because I just wanted to see the establishment before check in and it was gross and that within proceeded all the way to my room which I found hairs all over the restroom sink and other stains on the dressers and counters! For a one night stay at $170.00 rate It is completely not worth it and very dissatisfying . The amenities you offer you did not even honor. Mainly The breakfast. I have seen at least 10 different families including my own that day I stayed waiting for you guys to refill the eggs, sausages, and potatoes which you all never did even though the front desk said they were going to. Apparently one Round is more than enough for a full hotel but I beg the differ! We waited until we realized it wasn’t going to happen so then I took my family to ihop which is right beside the Hampton. We’ll probably stay there next time since I already know they’re cheaper on rates and way nicer rooms and they also have servers on stand by constantly refilling and stocking the breakfast buffets. Not just scamming people for there money and leaving them with halfway cooked watery oatmeal and cereal! Never again will I go there! And I recommend the same to others let my experience guide you to making better decisions for you and your families!

Room smelled like mildew and room had a lot of humidity. Left some pants on the bed and they were wet to the touch because of it. Also breakfast used to be way better with the omelets. Won't stay here in the future. Was average not worth 110 a night.

Everything was nice and clean but those pillows gotta go. Pillows are very thin and uncomfortable to sleep on. My husband and I left with stiff necks because of those pillows. Other then that everything else was great.

Unfortunately, our stay wasn’t pleasant. I was given a room on the third floor and the closest to the highway. Needless to say, we could hear all the traffic and loud vehicles from our room. We were only there for 1 night, so I didn’t want to make a big deal about it.

It gets a bit loud in the bedroom being near the highway. I wish the happy hour was better advertised and you knew what your options were ahead of time. Breakfast was pretty okay. The whole facility could use an update, especially the lock system on the doors. The shower I was afraid might come out of the wall when I turned the stopper on. TVs are small but adequate. Refrigerator and microwave were nice and clean and an excellent countertop to use. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable. I think a good update for a more modern country lodge would do it some real good!

I LOVE this hotel! It’s like a mini apartment! The rooms are spacious, clean with working ac units, 2 TV’s and 2 separate spaces. The show head is waterfall style and they actually allow the water to get hot unlike some hotels now. The staff has been friendly each time I’ve stayed and fresh cookies are waiting when you come in. I wish they had this hotel in bigger cities that I have to travel to.

This property is good overall. But like many hotels nowadays, I have to request for housekeeping services every day. Unfortunately, only one of the three requests for housekeeping was honored over three days. So yes, it sucks having to go back downstairs and ask for towels.

We enjoyed our stay here! Shout out to Caleb for getting us settled in and always having an upbeat and cheerful presence! The location is off the highway which make it easy to get around. We unfortunately did not have a car so for us the location was not as convenient since there was not much within walking distance. However we definitely recommend staying here. The hot breakfast was great!

Overall everything thing was excellent. The free breakfast was great in quality and appearance. The lady whom cooked and set up was nice and kept area stocked. The happy hour was a great touch. Maybe a stand up fan or ceiling fan would help ac circulating. Definitely would stay again. Also front desk area was clean and presentable. We didn’t use room service but nice feature. Walking distance to Texas Roadhouse hit the spot.

Stay was average. Breakfast was not very good. When things run out they don’t fill in even before the time is over for the breakfast. TV in the exercise room has lines on the screen and picture are horrible. Clock in the exercise room ran out battery but no one care to change. There is no water or soda in the happy hour. Only beer or food of the day. No vegetarian option. When I brought front desk attendant, they say they will report to management but I did not see any action. There should be some rooms designated for no pets so the people have allergies from the pets can stay too. We stay their for 5 nights.
