They told us they would call when our room was ready and did not. Then skipped cleaning our room even through a "clean room" tag was on the door, pool area and stairways are poorly maintained, toilet valve in back leaked, breakfast is a long walk in a nearby restaurant and poor food. Very disappointed.

Grass around the pool was very high. One pillow had black Ashy looking junk on it, the room wasn't absolutely filthy, but it lacked some cleaning. The sidewalks had litter on them, hmm

The staff was very friendly and provided ice at the main desk since the ice machine was broken. Parking was very convenient. Did not try the breakfast, but they did offer a daily breakfast. Wonderful Italian restaurant right beside the hotel’s cafeteria on the premises. I would definitely stay there again.

We want to commend your hotel on the cleanliness of the bathroom and tub. The last two hotels my husband and I visited both had hair left behind in the showers. Eueew!!! My biggest pet peeve! And these were not sleezy properties…..Hampton and Comfort Inn. Thanks for the attention you give for your guests.

Front desk staff was super nice, probably the best thing about the stay. Overall I’m covered in 20 bed bug bites. My whole body is super itchy and it’s very uncomfortable. They issued me a full refund which was nice, but I still had to let other people know to be cautious.

Nice people, was clean, shower was hot/nice. Issue for us was the upstairs neighbors walking constantly at 6am (and you could hear absolutely everything). Breakfast buffet was so so (regular bead/toast missing). An old facility.

We were very disappointed with our stay at this property. It was old, run down and desperately needed to be updated. The beds were terribly uncomfortable and the pillows were poor. We woke up with a back aches. It's inexcusable. When you rent a room for the night, you're buying a good night's rest. This was certainly not the case. We do not recommend this motel.

This place could be great but it is very dated. The bed we slept on has got to be from the 60’s or 70’s. It was very uncomfortable. Rooms are big but have a very old stale smell to them. Channel guide is wrong and the tv small.

Photos over promised vs actual hotel when we arrived. Room door facing outward into parking lot reminded me of a Motel 6. They do the best they can, bed springs probably ended their useful life sometime in the last millennia - sure were sinkers. .

When I arrived, after 1:30 am, exhausted after a full day of traveling, I arrived only to find my Expedia reservation had issues..... The payment was declined! Luckily, I had ALL the paperwork printed out with confirmation, paid in full with Expedia. The clerk called the manager at home, explained the situation and ran it as cash. Never heard anything more until day before I was due to check out (4 day stay) assumed it had been worked out. The hotel called interrupting my meeting, stated they had to charge my credit card as they needed to be paid and somehow Expedia wasn't. After about 45 min in the office, Heidi and I worked it thru with Expedia and the third party provider. The hotel staff apologized profusely, I believe they tried their best to resolve the issue without inconveniencing me but were unable to. Still they went above and beyond and ensured my card would not be charged.

The older woman with grey hair was very rude at the check in.. that started it all off … she was the worst part about the stay… this is a motel.. in bad need of renovations and bed overhaul… just really old and it shows.. will def choose a different hotel next time the need arises!

We got there before 10 pm check in was amazing. Got to our room. Beds were dirty and gross Asked for clean bedding and guy working couldn’t get I to the room for clean bedding. Said he was going to call the cops on us. My husband got it all on video. He was absurd and did not want to do his job. He put us in another room with opening bed and there were five of us!! Terrible customer service.

First of all after 6 hours driving she makes us wait for her to finish a cigarette outside then our bathroom door was key locked and she wasn’t the least bit eager to fix problem. She finally gave us different room. Still making us wait while she smoked again. I need to also mention we have a disabled daughter in wheelchair and inspite of our daughter she still could not assist with anything! Not front desk friendly

The toilet ran off and on all night. It felt unsafe. It is right off of the interstate so maybe that is why. The staff was not real friendly. The breakfast was also not real good. We will not stay there again and we like best westerns. It appears that this is more of a truck stop hotel then a family one.

The breakfast area lacked cleanliness. There was no bread available for breakfast. The food and bagels weren't fresh. We couldn't use the pancake maker as the staff mentioned the ingredients for it weren't suitable.

Large and loud truck parking next door. Breakfast was very limited. Prepackaged muffins and danishes were very dry. Off brand yogurt. Scrambled eggs were dry, pan sausage was greasy and some kind of Mexican burrito was hard as a brick.

The property is in poor condition, needs repairs and painting. The beds were horrible; old springs that were soft, bouncy and squeaky. Worst of all was the complimentary breakfast service, which was in a separate building with an unmarked door and a strange entry way, and a dark dining area with only a very limited offering - we immediately left to get breakfast somewhere else.

The room was nice and we needed a handicapped bathroom and there were wonderful hand rails in the bathroom. The breakfast was not good. Cheap cereal , warmed over eggs, no waffles but the coffee was good.

This is one of those situations where "you get what you pay for" applies. The images shown for the hotel (depending on site) don't show that it's an older property with motel-style exterior doors. It's also multiple story with no elevator...and the stairs are steep! Not a great choice for anyone with mobility issues, big luggage or small children. You also have to pay extra for a room with a microwave or refrigerator. Also, while almost any hotel/motel in the US will tell you they're having trouble finding staff, these guys offer housekeeping...but only if their minimal staff actually can get to you. I didn't have housekeeping come in for anything - trash, bed linens, towels, etc. - even though we were instructed to not hang up our towels if we wanted fresh ones. In Kerrville's summer heat and humidity, taking an evening shower is a near-must to cool off and I came back to a pile of wet towels from the morning that, had I known, I would have hung up to dry. When I called to ask about housekeeping I was told "oh, they just couldn't get to all the rooms but if you want towels you can come up to the front and get them."
