Nothing exciting. It was a place to lay my head, it’s peaceful. Unfortunately, as it disabled that there were no elevators so it took a little bit to get upstairs. Other than that, everything worked out just fine.

Very easy check in and super nice lady working the lobby area. The room was decent however the air conditioner I wasn't the best, I'm glad I brought a fan! The parking is not very good, small spaces and a tight fit. The stairs leading up to my room felt unsafe and uneasy. And the sidewalks leading up to the room needed some cleaning. Very small bathroom but nice water pressure. I chose this motel simply for the convenience to the interstate.

Property is clean but, your ceilings are filled with lint. Entrance door, we had light coming in through cracks. We also had to fight off some flying insects and a roach in the bathroom area. We skipped breakfast didn't look tempting.

Place has gone downhill! Cleanliness was questionable. Used soap and shampoo bottles left in shower. Called front desk to notify them. Did not offer any accommodation or room change. Asked to leave at noon on check out. Cleaning staff was knocking at our door by 10:30, then calling us at 11:20. Water pressure was really weak as well. Which was surprising because that is one of the reasons we usually stay here. So disappointed

It was extremely clean and very pleasant and the location is near a major intersection of I-10 and Hwy. 16. The property is an older one and appears to be undergoing some major renovations and I was surprised that there not many people staying there, but then again it was on Thanksgiving day when I stayed there. The price was excellent and I really enjoyed my stay there and will definitely stay there again.

There were dirty towels behind the bathroom door when we checked in. I woke up to a spider crawling on me the second night we were there. Walls are so thin we heard the guests next door showering together.

The lady at the front was so kind and they had breakfast from 6-10am! Which is a plus! The bed pillow cases, flat sheet and fitted were clean. BUT The fleece blanket had a cigarette burn hole and red nail polish stains. The comforter had some stains and had fabric shredding. I was not a fan of the carpet, it felt old, saturated and dirty. The microwave was very old and yellow with what seemed to be rust. The furniture could use a good wipe down bc of foody fingerprints. The AC worked well and finally got cold about 2am. There is a gap in the door frame to where I could see light outside. This allowed the heat to come in and cool air to escape. It also made outside noise seem like it was in the room. I could hear people walking outside. Playing music and getting into their cars. I didn’t sleep well. Tub and toilet could use bleach for the dark spots around the caulking. Overall the price for the room was very budget friendly. It’s in a great location with nice staff. It just needs a big renovation update.

The front desk clerks were very polite, friendly and helpful. The beds were really comfortable, and we all slept well. It was also nice to have a free little buffet breakfast, and the coffe was good. Our room was also quiet and nicely located on the back of the property. Overall we had a good stay.

We liked most every thing except came in late to our room went in to room, closed door and secured latches from inside. But as leaving the next morning, shut door from outside, then without using the key I opened the door, door latch did not work. Fortunately no one tried to come in during the night.

A little disappointed with the check-in process. The room was reserved/paid for family visiting for the holiday. When they tried to check-in, their room did not have the pull-out sofa for their son. When they brought it to the attention of the clerk at front desk, he kept telling them they would have to pay extra fee for an "upgrade". I had to call them and refer to the confirmation/itinerary I had received from Expedia. Eventually, the clerk apologized and my family was able to move to the room with the appropriate accommodations for their son.

I reviewed several Kerrville hotel comments from around the city before I decided to stay at the Super 8. I read many positive customer service comments from Super 8 which I later discovered were well justified. Tammy at the front desk was outstanding! I had lots of questions concerning local things to see and she had all the answers. I give this hotel a 9.9/10 score. Their breakfast did not include scrambled eggs with bacon/sausage, so -.1 for that. Other than that, this hotel delivered all the attributes I would expect at this price point. Also, as a bonus, you can sit down on their bench outside their office, look up and clearly see the Kerrville "Empty Cross" on the hill as you can tell in my photos.

Check in staff was hard to communicate with. Not that friendly. Seemed just read a script , not sincere . Check out staff insulted me , I played along , thinking she was joking, however the more we talked the more i felt like she was not joking. Pictures showed a better facility. Place was old and in need of updating. Our room had caulking missing in the bathroom.. There was a wercked car at the back of the building.. It was clean ..even though the rate was discounted, I expected better..

This hotel covers all of the basic needs for us. We have stayed many times, the room is clean and comfortable. The location is convenient for a day trip to Fredericksburg or to hang out in Kerrville. The price is good if you don't need a fancy place.

I’ve stayed at this property multiple times over the years. The property is older and a bit tired. However, there has been some freshening up of the rooms with some paint, countertops and bedding. The breakfast is fair with some fresh fruit, packaged muffins, TX waffles, juice and coffee. It’s a fair price for an average room. There are cheaper hotel options in the area, but the facilities are less desirable. You can spend more and get more at other hotels nearby.
