Best Western Palestine Inn

I room floors were greasy like someone cleaned them with DW40 so they were slippery with shoes on. Breakfast for restaurant infront of prop was good but, place is very tiny and you can’t take food to go back to room. If you like people standing over you while you eating and they are waiting then enjoy.

I showed up around midnight and the room looked like it had not been cleaned. There was red droplets on the floor, mirror looked like someone took a bath in the sink. I have stayed at Best Westerns before so I was quite hopeful. I could not get my money back from the hotel and wil be contacting hotels.com for help with a reimbursement.

Ok let’s get straight to it first room I checked in was dirty, not a big concern but an inconvenience is all. Second room was clean but smelled like a men’s locker room …actually all the rooms I was in smelled like that. The second room came with guest, bedbugs!! I went right back downstairs and got another room as far away as possible from the bedbug room. Didn’t matter, damage was done couldn’t sleep. So this is what one would expect from an off brand hotel. Not at a Best Western which I would recommend that they change their name to the OYO Brand which I feel better suits them with the old 1980s furniture and the old smell to match. The 50 inch TVs they have in the room doesn’t make up for the smell, old furniture and pest. Most definitely will not stay here again.
