Location is great, staff if awesome, property and rooms are clean, pool closes @12am. The only bad thing or inconvenience is the parking….they have parking specifically for go-carts but people still take the regular parking spots!!…parking is limited

The hotel was easy to find and convenient to the rest of Port Aransas. It was clean and organized, however the pool could have used a filter cleaning at least and there was some dog bombs laying around that could have picked up. The breakfast was on point and varied each day of our stay.

It was a good stay, the staff are really good. Little thing need work, like one ice machine worked one didn’t. Hotel had two guest washers and dryers . One of the dryers was broke down , both lent filters were missing.

Great stay! Needed a last minute reservation and booked this place. Wasn’t sure what to expect but we were pleasantly pleased. It was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast and happy hour were added bonuses. We didn’t spend time in the outdoor amenities but it looked like several guests were there enjoying themselves.

The property was in a good location. Breakfast was convenient and ready daily. Golf cart rental on property was extremely great. The pool was clean and it's a salt water pool. The parking was great. Area was quiet. Beach was close. Rooms were clean, and housekeeping kept us in clean towels. Overall great experience, will be staying here again!

room was very clean, bed very comfortable. location was awesome, close to beach, the breakfast was awesome. the lady that did the cooking was the best I have seen. she kept things stocked up hot and ready she was great. the front desk person was very nice and polite and made things so easy for us.

I chose this property based on the reviews and the photos. The photos are completely different than what the rooms actually look like. Upon arriving, we noticed mold on the doorway of the bathroom. We scrubbed it off with soap as we didn’t want to cause any trouble and we weren’t staying there long. There is rust on the phones and lamps. The lamp shade was stained. The floors were sticky and the light switches had dust and dirt in between the cracks, it just felt gross all around. There was also stains on the walls and what looked like someone booger and hair from their nose. The toilet paper holder was also broke and the bath faucet was almost falling off the wall, lol. We dealt with it because we were on vacation and obviously not staying in the hotel room long besides to sleep. The breakfast was decent, nothing fancy but was still good. Make sure you get enough towels because they only give towels during the hours of 9am-11am which is shocking. You’d think things would be available for guests at all times like all other hotels. So if you go to the beach multiple times with kids, make sure you have enough towels to bathe afterwards. We also asked for more coffee because they only give you 2 packets and we never got it. Next time, I will spend the extra money on a nicer hotel. I’m still waiting to see if they refund the $100 deposit. The location was conveniently next to alot of shopping and food. The staff was very nice so no issue there!

Found 2 roaches in the bed of the 1st room. 1 between the fitted sheet and flat sheet. The other between the flat sheet and comforter. Both were dead. Called the desk and advised them. They couldnt do anything at that time and the next day the manager moved our room. The 2nd room had a live roach crawling across the floor. I didnt contact the desk the second time as it was 10p when we returned to the room after being out all day. The area was unusually busy and I knew there wasnt gonna be anything the manager was able to do. The desk clerk on the first night tried to find us another room at a different hotel, but due to it being busy was not able to. They stated that we could check out and get a refund but would basically be S.O.L. as there were no rooms. That part isnt against the hotel but they didnt even offer a partial refund due to the roaches being in the bed.

Located close to the beach (not quite walking distance but close to plenty of cart rental Places and easy shopping) The photos on the website are very misleading and make it look much nicer than it is, but it was clean and the door locked. Good breakfast options. The room itself was extremely damp. Like you feel like you are sleeping in a cave damp. The floors constantly look freshly mopped because of the water build up and a bit of a slipping hazard, and nothing ever dries in the room. The pillows were very very cheap and thin. Bed was uncomfortable. The fridge had a weird smell to it, and the sink drained extremely slow(probably sand.) It worked in a pinch for our last minute trip on a holiday weekend(everything with decent pricing was already booked) but likely would not book again.

The bed is very hard. The room we were in did not have a safety lock, the towel rack by the sink was loose, the shower faucet was coming out of the wall, it was hard to turn the shower on. The toilet paper holder was loose and the shower curtain rod was very loose. We were there for 4 days, the bed was only made once, our last night there, our trash was emptied, no bags were replaced, the bed was not made and we didn’t get any fresh towels and our dirty ones were not picked up. I called to get more towels and was told “you must have had the do not disturb sign on the door “ and she wasn’t supposed to leave the front desk to get us fresh towels. We did not have the sign on the door the entire week. Also the room did not have a hairdryer until the day before we left.

Our room was clean & had a good amount of space. I would prefer softer pillows than the flat ones they had, but it was fine. Our room could use a little handyman help with the towel rack & toilet paper holder being very loose on the wall. But it's still a good place to stay.

Was worried since we booked based on reviews and then saw the pictures showing it was a red roof. But I guess it was sold years ago and thoes pictures are not correct. Place was better than expected the only thing that was difficult was we were promised a bottom floor but then moved to 2nd floor b/c that’s all they had clean and it was after 4. So usually a better choice but this place has no elevator and we had some heavily luggage and a bad back so not idea Still I give it 5 stars for this grade of hotel

Pics were great. Very different once we arrived. We were given a bottom floor room whisk was awesome, but we were right next to the lobby and breakfast time was madness and loud everyday at 5am.

I was surprised how quiet it was, considering it was on a busy road. The room was large, and bed comfortable. The only advice I’d give is bring your own pillows as they were pretty hard. Hubby and I usually rotate between 2 other hotels when we visit Port A, this one will be added to the repertoire depending on who has the best price.

Property and staff were great! Good customer service and responsive! Only complaint I would have was there was no TV channels on the TV with room provided! The property staff blamed it on Internet service. I could pull up my own accounts (example: NetFlex) but no access to local channels, Fox, ESPN, TNN, or the like) provided by the hotel on their TV in the room.

The customer service is excellent. Every single employee was professional and courteous. The only problem that we had was a foul smell in our room. We thought it was either the sink or toilet. We called about it and they were more than happy to come and fix it. Unfortunately, it did not completely go away. Other than that, our stay was fantastic.

They were told I have a service dog before I checked in. I already paid Expedia price, hotel added on 50.00 dollars with out telling me for pet fee. When I discovered it I talked to them and they went in circles about fee. They said i would get it back, haven’t seen it yet. If you have a disability don’t stay here

Room was great- good size, great price, and was perfect distance between the ferry and the beach. Beth, who does lots of jobs around the hotel, was kind and welcoming! Great personality! The two front desk girls I dealt with were very friendly and helpful! Would stay again!

This is a great property. Rooms are clean,frig and AC worked perfectly. Amanda and her staff are friendly and go the extra mile. We left clothes behind and they were turned in to Front desk. Amanda helped me get our clothes back home! Will definitely stay here again!

The property was very convenient to everything. Reasonably priced! The first 2 days were good. Our air conditioner quit working on the third day and they came to try to fix it, with no luck. They were going to move us to another room. We asked for a refund for one day and they said they don’t give refunds. If I was going to have to pack up, might as well leave. So we left a day early, with no refund. The girl that works there was nice but the man that worked on our AC was kind of rude. I guess if we didn’t have the AC issue and a rude encounter I would have gave it closer to a 4 star review.

The room was very clean, and the location was excellent. They have filtered water in the lobby and an ice machine. The staff is friendly. The down side is the outside lights shine in, the curtain does not block it out, so pack eye covers, other than I would stay again.
