I was pleased with the service of the desk clerk. Having a pool was a plus since we had our granddaughter with us. The drawbacks were maintenance issue. The carpets looked dirty and there was mold in the shower area. I struggle also understanding how to turn on the TV. Breakfast was OK, but could improve--no place to sit and the serving area was congested

The staff are all very nice and friendly. That is the only thing that is good about the hotel. The rooms are dirty and the carpet is stained throughout the rooms and hallways. The pool was shut down by the health department for some code violation. The ice machine is broken.

Free breakfast and Wi-Fi has a pool and hot tub

There was nothing particularly wrong with the room but it could use some updates and I'm guessing the age made it feel less than ideal. I did have to repeatedly close the door to the parking lot as those staying there and people cleaning propped it open with rocks and the door mat. That's a security issue that shouldnt exist.

This was probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, including travel to third world countries. I had a last minute change of plans and booked this hotel on the weekend of a bike race in Cedar City. So it was one of the few options available. I saw it had breakfast and a pool and thought it wouldn't be that bad but boy was I wrong. The pool was closed by order the health department and there was no breakfast offered. The carpets were filthy with trash in the hallways, and the entire hotel reeked of weed even though all the rooms in my hallway were marked as no smoking. There was a security light outside my window that was flickering on and off the entire night The air conditioning barely functioned; I don't know if it was any better than just a fan blowing air. I only rated it two stars because at least the beds were clean and relatively comfortable.

The room was comfortable. The breakfast was not very good. Only a choice of a waffle that tasted like it was sourdough or toast and juice which you had to try to get to your room without spilling. There is no elevator so if you have a hard time climbing stairs it's probably a good idea not to stay here.

Pool not working. Room phone not working. Tub hardly drained Couldn’t contact front office with their phone number, went to voicemail. Bed was fine pillows great. Hallways clean Weeds around parking spaces. Old fashioned a/c unit set to about 60* took a couple of hours with heat on to feel comfortable.

Clerk doesn't speak English. Carpets dirty and stained. Pool unusable.

I booked this hotel for my wife while she was on a road trip. The main reason was for the pool. Turns out the pool and hot tum were closed because of the health department. I get that this happens, but there was no mention on the website, no sign in the lobby, no mention at check by the staff only a small sign on the gate to the pool. The pool is in their main picture on their site. Very disappointing. The free continental breakfast was basically no-existent. 1 bagel, 5 mini muffins, and coffee for all the guests to share. You have to look really close at the picture to see it.

Room turned out to be filthy. The carpet was very wet in front of sink and dresser. Used 8 towels to try to soak up some. Light bulb over bed burned out. Front desk gave us towels but offed no help. Temperature set in room was 60 when arrived. Not a great smell

That hotel is so nasty carpet is so dirty. There’s trash everywhere. Ice machine was not working tubs on the paint in the hallway. The breakfast wasn’t breakfast bagels with no cream cheese. The motel is nasty

I am truly baffled by the reviews. The ones I read talked about how clean this place is. I could not disagree more. The first room they put us in still had trash in the trashcans, sticky marks from cups or glasses on the nightstand, makeup on the sheets, and random change lying everywhere. The beds had clearly been made without changing the sheets. While there was no trouble getting a different room, and the next one was cleanER, I certainly would not tout its cleanliness. The carpets in both rooms had so many mystery stains, i would not walk barefoot on them if you paid me. There was an exposed electrical outlet, and chunks coming off almost every piece of furniture. None of the linens smelled clean. Furthermore, the entire place smelled like somebody's lunch the entire time we were there. Finally, we were almost relieved to have to leave due to an emergency at home. However, my husband asked for a credit toward a future stay at that hotel brand and they offered him an insulting 5% discount. They would have been better off just saying, no. And, the clerk had the audacity to ask us to leave a good review as we were walking out. They WERE a nice enough family running it, but clearly have no clue how to run such a place.

The only reason I gave them a one star is because zero stars wasn’t an option. We planned on swimming but the pool was closed down by the health department. The smoke detector in our room was missing but the wires were hanging out of the ceiling. The beds both had hairs in and on them. Layers of dirt behind and under everything. Anything that has ever spilled or splashed on the wall is still there. We debated driving home because we really did not want to stay in this place. Disgusting is the only word that fits. Whatever you do please do not stay here.

Room looked nice at first glance. Dirty chair, sofa bed mattress was stained, chair was also stained, black mold growing in the corner of the wall and ceiling.

The property was very dirty. There were blood spots on the comforter, the carpet was disgusting in the room and the hallway, and the blow dryer was sticky! People were smoking right outside the door so smoke was drifting into our room. They had a washer and dryer for guests to use (coin operated) and one look in the washer I didn’t do my laundry. The clothes would have come out dirtier than when they went in!

I had a late check-in, arriving at 11:00 pm. There was no staff on site, just a number to call on the counter. When answered, I was directed to go across the street to the Quality Inn, where I could get my room key. Getting back and finding my way to the room, I couldn't help but notice the poor condition of the hallways and the stairs leading to my room. Gross and sticky. Entering my room, my niece and I were greeted by a HOTT, uncomfortable room, and an unknown smell. The carpet was un-vacuumed and hadn't seen a carpet cleaner in years, by the looks of it. There was old vomit by the window near the air conditioner, which to was filthy and covered in dead bugs, mold, and dust. The bedding was worn and tattered, pillow cases torn at the seams, and rips in the fitted bed sheet, all with stains. The bathroom was probably the cleanest part of the room, but not clean. One should never have to play guess that stain and whether this towel was washed and safe to use. Needless to say, they shouldn't collect incidental fees because the room was a wreck. Don't waste your money, double it and stay elsewhere. Had there been rooms elsewhere, and believe me, I looked, I would've left and I'm one usually happy to have a place to rest my head. Never have I left a review like this, and I hope to never again. I'm tempted to avoid this chain altogether. Upon reading past reviews from a year ago to two weeks ago, and management response. I feel there has been no attempt to improve.

This was a inexpensive hotel, not very well maintained, in my parents room the faucet handle came off, said the maintenance man left, no offer of different room. Pillowcase in my room had black tar like stains, seemed laundered tho. Room fairly clean. Bed was comfy. Not awful not great. On my way back thru, I chose another hotel

The room codition was run down with torn carpet, broken lamps, and a malfunctioning shower head. The TV remote didnt work. The in room coffee was decalf only. The advertised "breakfast" was toast! Finally, the pool was closed by the health department. This was not a pleasant stay and certainly not worth the price paid.

It was what I expected for the price. In my room I noticed 2x4’s sticking out from under both box springs, dry wall spackling on top of wall paper, fingernail polish stains on toilet seat and sink area, upper door latch broken off and no wash cloths.

The people were extremely nice and friendly but very out dated, bed mattress was sitting on 2×4's. Very loud neighbors in the other rooms, floors very stained and dirty, gum stuck to floors.

Good location. However our tv wasn’t working. 1st desk guy came and tried to fix it but as it was end of his shift he left us with a cable box that got no power and told us it was the provider that was down and should be working soon. I went to the cleaning lady 3 doors down and asked her to see if that tv would work. It worked just fine cable tv and everything so not sure how the cable was out but we were the only ones with it not working. That guy left and I tried talking to the next two front desk people. Nothing got solved so we were in a room without tv AND our phone didn’t work either. Wouldn’t switch us rooms, and never got a cable box that would turn on.

Not bad for the price. Window latch was broken floor was stained. Couch and sink was dirty. Bed was ok. Room has a refrigerator, microwave, TV and coffee. Overall good stay.. Dennys next door.

The carpet in the room needs replacement. It’s stained and needs cleaning. The locks are in need of repair and the sink faucet needs replaced. Well the bed is like sleeping on the box spring with no mattress. Otherwise an ok room

The beds were hard as boards. Breakfast was a banana and bread. The tvs didn't work half the time. Couldn't get wifi on my phone or the TV. The sound on the tv would mess up. I woudnt recommend this hotel to anyone.

There was no front desk attendant. Only a number posted to call. I was redirected to a nearby hotel where they gave me a key to the original hotel. There is no front desk attendant here during the night.

We arrived just after 10pm and we're unable to check-in. No one at the front desk, no one responded to ringing the bell or phone calls. I was still charged for the stay. We had to find another hotel last minute & blew the budget. I would not consider staying here.

Loved the people who work there, very kind and hospitable.

It was my fault for being late. I did call half an hour before to let them know I would be later than 12 am. The man on the phone said don’t worry we are 24 hrs. To ring the bell and some one would help. We got there at 11:55 pm. Rang the bell at the desk 3 times and the bell at the door once. Called them, now it’s 12:02 am and he asks who I am. I tell him and he says hold on I’ll be right there. 12:20 am and we called Travelodge by Wyndham and spent another $65. Lynn was closing up for the night. She said she would wait for us, so we could have a place to sleep tonight

Front desk frendly and very helpful, clean room probably just an update on the refrigerator but overall excellent service

Check in was bit frustrating, hotel couldn’t find my reservation. After showing them my email confirmation they got me my room setup. Room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay there again

Its a bit old and outdated. The front desk was left empty for hours. Felt as though anyone could walk in.

I was charged twice for my room and Im still waiting for a refund. I'm not surprised the Front Desk clerk charged me two different times since he was having a personal phone conversation in a foreign language while handling my transaction.

The location was good with easy access. No elevator though.

I’m glad that this property is right where it is. It’s a good stopping point from my drives from Colorado to southern California. It’s a very good rate, clean and quiet property, close to several dining options, and a dependable place to return to. I know I’ll be returning another time in the future.

America’s Best Value Inn in Cedar City is in a very convenient location for my travels from Colorado to California. The price is very reasonable and the hotel is easily accessible from I-15. I’ve stayed a few times now. While not in the top of the line level of hotels, it serves my needs for a safe, quiet place to stay for a night during my travels. Traveling on a budget, it meets the need.

What I liked was how close and convenient to restaurants and freeway. The place was way too dirty for me to ever stay there again.

It sat back a couple blocks off the road in a residential area. It was very quiet and not much going on around it. It was an older building but clean

Nice property and good location for what I needed. Was supposed to have an international breakfast from 6-9am. No breakfast, No coffee, No staff. Had to shut off the coffee station, glass pots were empty and burned on the bottom. BAD BAD BAD

The walls need to be washed, but otherwise it was fine. There is breakfast, but no sitting area to eat it. Breakfast is high carbs. For the price I paid, I really can't complain.

We picked this Motel because it had a hot tub. Sign on door said it was working, it wasn't. The water wasnt even warm. Some of the lights in our room didnt work either. The Continental breakfast was very sparse. Coffee, orange and apple juice, toast and waffles. No cereal, no fruit.
