⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a wonderful stay! The beautiful mountain views made every morning feel like a vacation in itself. The staff was so welcoming and friendly, making check-in quick and easy. The pool was sparkling clean and refreshing, and the fresh coffee each morning was the perfect start to the day. Everything was comfortable and well-kept, and I truly felt at home. I’ll definitely be stopping here again next time I’m in the area!

While it may not entirely be their fault, while booking Expedia stated that Breakfast was included and also stated that there was a fitness center. This incorrect advertisement is unconvincing. Expedia should not mislead people like that. Even their only one Ice maker was not working.

It was PERFECT. I hesitated a lot because of the reviews but decided to stay because we were staying just for one night. We stayed in the room with two beds and it was renovated with nice bathroom tiles and modern mirror. There was a picture of the pool but no description of the pool as an amenity but I was presently surprised that pool is there and open from 9 am-10 pm. It was so beautiful and peaceful surrounded by mountains. There’s a vending machine and 24/7 coffee and tea in the lobby. Muffins and granola bars for breakfast. No roaches or bugs, everything was clean

When I checked in a Midnight on Friday Sept 1, 2023 I got the only downstairs unit that was left(unit 102). I immediately used the bathroom and found 4 live cockroaches in the bathroom which I killed. Seeing no more I went to bed and reported it the next morning and the day clerk said they knew they had a "bug" problem and they sprayed regularly but there was nothing she could about it. Since it was "labor day weekend" there was nothing I could do but stay there since everything was booked as it was a resort area. I would like to hear from the owner and a refund on my money since my wife couldn't sleep or use the bathroom. DON'T STAY THERE!!!

Staff was friendly at time of check in until check out. Room was renovated and very clean. The only issue was that my husband had to fix the flush because the chain came off maybe needs to be replaced coz it is rusty. Overall, I wish.we could’ve stayed longer.

The room was disgusting! I understand that at this price point furniture may be dated or the place may not be modern but this was a health hazard. Mold, filth and cigarette burns. As soon as I opened the door the smell of cigarettes was awful, I went to look at the sheets and those looked washed. The bathroom has not been upgraded since this place was built and has not been deep cleaned in years. The door trim composed of different pieces with the bottom portion missing from termites or water damage. I have asthma and my symptoms kicked in quick! The sink and tub had cigarette marks, the tiles were filthy and some pieces were different color, the floor tile was 70’s maybe early 80’s with Irvine stains around and behind the toilet. Selling has severe water damage and the stucco is peeling. Poor exposed electric wiring on the ceiling, no smoke alarms at all. The light fixtures were rusted and the AC unit had peeling paint. It was past midnight so my choice was to sleep in the car or in this smelly room. I slept in my clothes disgusted to touch anything. Got up earlier than I initially planned to, brushed my teeth and got in the road. My wheezing was so bad, I am still recovering from the mold and smoke in the room. I stayed on the road and showered at home. This place should be shut down by DaysInn or the VA Health Department. I don’t understand how they are able to stay open.

Super dated, fruit flies everywhere, we didn’t even bring our bags in. We slept on top of the covers in our street clothes. There were stains ontop of the bedding. It was a very short trip. Slept maybe 6 hours and left.

The room we stayed in was on the first floor and close to the parking lot. There was mold in the bathroom. The fan in the bathroom was rusty and filled with dust. Through the vent in the bathroom we could hear voices and we heard someone peeing through the vent in the bathroom. Breakfast consisted of coffee or juice and a granola bar. Under the bed there was stuffing from the mattress. Mice? Yuck!!! Also poorly decorated.

It’s disgusting, room was so dirty. Bathroom was so dirty - hairs on the floor, toilet , bathtub. Great location but it’s sooo dirty - on staircase going upstairs you can see trash, spiderwebs , walls cover with stains. Stay away from this place!

The person working the front desk at check in was very friendly. The location of the property was perfect for our needs, but the room felt a bit dated. The bathroom door locked when closed and didn’t unlock easily. The water lever in the shower popped off when turned on, so we had to be careful when adjusting the temperature and pressure. Water pressure was good, though! Towels were a little rough and on the small size. It wasn’t awful, but definitely needs some upgrades.

I had no water pressure and had to use a wash cloth to stop up the tub for a bath. The water also wasn't very hot. My toilet kept getting clogged. Other than that the room was really nice with a comfortable king bed.

Good solid hotel room for those planning a kayak weekend trip with Shenandoah River Outfitters. Showers had good pressure, which helps after a long day on the river. Internet was solid. For us, the AC wasn't working, but we decided to endure it as we didn't want to repack everything after we had set up already in the room. Beds were comfortable, too. Solid place to put your head down.

The WiFi connection was not consistent and strong enough to sustain a Zoom link. There's a hole beneath the door frame of the bathroom that needs repair. Hazardous: there is nothing on the bafthroom wall to hold onto to get into or out from the shower. No towel rack, nothing!

We didn’t receive reminder from the front desk about clarification of the check-in instruction. We booked around 6pm and assumed that front desk should have enough time to do something before we stuck at the motel in a freezing cold winter night. No one answered my call, no emergency contact number left, no envelope with room key and notes inside…. Totally unacceptable…we contact Expedia for refund and had to call around for a bad somewhere else. Will rate “0” if there’s an option.

My boyfriend and I traveled from Virginia Beach to celebrate my birthday at Luray Caverns. It was convenient that the Days Inn was just a couple of minutes away. However, check in took 20 minutes and there was only one person in front of us checking in, but 2 ladies behind the counter using only one computer. The room smelled old and there were 2 dead bugs on the floor, one in the bathroom and one next to the jet tub. The next day, our checkout day, we both had to take cold showers. We were told afterwards that the whole hotel had no hot water! I asked for a discount and was told I'd have to call the manager, Mary, the next day. I did, and she was very pleasant and did put some money back on my credit card. Even after the discount, though, that hotel was not worth $150 a night. It's just very old. The bed was not comfortable and the carpet looked like it needed replacing. I'll end on a good note and say that we did both enjoy the jet tub. That was the best part.

I hate to give a bad review however the surrounding area of Luray is gorgeous. The DaysInn was dirty, We checked in late so i don't know if this is normal but the front desk man was asleep and it took me forever to wake him. the room was dirty with bugs, the decor was odd including a shagadelic armchair. the bathroom was not good either. Please spend a little more and find a clean hotel in the area.

We came to the Shenandoah park and book too late, everything was booked and thankfully Days Inn had a few rooms left. Close to park, good to sleep and go, accept pets, no many restaurants are open after 8 pm.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly! The only reason for the 4 star overall was the lack of a breakfast bar. Juice, coffee and granola bars was basically it but kudos to the 24 hour coffee!! There is a WalMart a few miles away that will help with food and what not. So that was a plus!

The “breakfast” was granola bars and prepackaged muffins. But, the coffee/tea was good. I wouldn’t have minded so much, but there wasn’t many options for breakfast in the immediate area. We drove around looking for a diner/restaurant, nothing much around. We ended up eating at a trendy coffee place, good coffee, but odd trendy offerings that were a little pricey. I don’t need fruity chutney on my egg sandwich. Nice people working there, so, not so bad.

I wasn’t expecting much from this hotel but I was totally surprised at what it has to offer for a low price: friendly staff on the front desk, pool open til 10pm, coffee/tea 24 hr, refrigerator, microwave, new sheets, no smoky smell, bathroom tub a bit dated but no biggie, the place seem in the middle of nowhere but close to the Luray caverns. Will definitely recommend to my friends & family.
