We didn’t know that this was a family owned establishment when we made the booking but on site it’s obvious. Both Hannah and one of her sons welcomed us warmly! The lodge itself is very genuine and cozy, the homemade breakfast was amazing. Our last morning we saw a black bear in the garden as a bonus! It’s a short drive in to town and all in all this was a great place to stay at!

The building is older and the walls are very thin. They do provide a sound machine to try to help cover up some of the noice of other guests. Keep in mind that the cedar room is very small as was the bathroom. I couldn’t bring my arms up to do my hair without both hitting the walls. I literally had to stand sideways. I can’t comment on the other rooms, but if you are at all claustrophobic, I wouldn’t choose the cedar room. The grounds were terrific. We enjoyed the hot tub each night and even saw a bear!

A tiny room, noisy from above and next to the stairs and door.

We enjoyed our stay at the inn especially coming to a hot tub after a whole day on the slopes. Breakfast was delicious and coffee was always fresh. Our room was nice and clean with a wonderful view to the mountain. We were on the lower floor so we could hear a lot of noise from the guests upstairs which was the only downside.
