The hotel was under construction in over 50 % of the building. The restaurant was closed for construction, the pool wSs closed for construction. They didn't disclose any of this on line or at check in. The room was ok it had been recently remodeled. I was called in the night to turn my tv down so walls must be thin. I've stayed here multiple times and this was very disappointing to say the least. Nothing was offered to me in compensation for the inconvenience.

A good stay, clean spaceous rooms, VERY comfortable beds. Breakfast "buffet" was plain and limited but tended tk be friendly staff. For us, location was excellent as we attended a wedding 1 mile away. And close to the airport. They are doing a huge renovation so 1/2 the hotel is closed. The exercise room and restaurant were closed. Probably should have disclosed this when we were making the reservation. But again, what was open was fine for the reasonable price.

Overall very happy with my stay. It was quiet, clean and felt modern. The pool area, showers and sauna were being remodeled, so I down-checked the facilities. They provided a hot breakfast, but it was pretty minimal - eggs and sausage; but that puts it ahead of most hotel breakfasts these days.

Great location but limited amenities (no bar, gym, restaurant, hot tub), pool was freezing. Under renovation so a bit shabby and disorganized. Very noisy on weekends with cars racing in the street and teens partying. Some staff were great, some were indifferent. Most seemed to know very little about the area so not able to recommend places to go.

There was an event next to the hotel so parking was non existent. The rooms are in poor condition for such a nice location. The hot tub was not in service.

Nice large pool and deck. Hot tub wasn't working. Ice machine also out of order. I paid a little bit extra to have a river view room. Ended up with a first floor room with bushes in front of the window that obstructed the view. The doors at the end of the hallway into the parking lot were not secure and there were a few transients around the area so it would be easy for them to access the hallways. Rooms were a little bit shabby and dated but clean. Hotel offered free bikes to ride along the pathway on the river which was really nice. Breakfast buffet was just mediocre.

Hot tub is closed. Under renovations, but everything seems to have gone down hill since it started. Hopefully it is improved and over soon, otherwise won't be back, which would be sad.

There were at least 15 bugs flying around our head all night. It was disgusting. There was a dead bug on our bed. We paid extra for a river view and our window was so dirty and fogged up we couldn’t see. Not to mention the DOZENS of bugs, dead and alive, in the window.

The staff were not very kind, attentive or good with customer service skills. It was not a welcoming feel for hospitality at all. There was mold all around the bath tub that someone tried to cover with caulking. I loved the location and free concert and the pool was okay. My husband loved fishing off the dock, but the property overall was dilapidated and I hope the upgrades improve it.

Our first room smelled of urine. Requested a different room. Was told we were upgraded to a river view. This room was acroos the hall from first room. This room had a funky smell as well. The complimentary breakfast was not pleasing to the eye. Items included sausage, biscuits, gravy, precooked waffles, bread, and bagels. Prepackaged cereal and oatmeal. The orange and apple jyice were in little plastic cups. The breakfast used to be much better. We have stayed here many times over the years and this is worst experience here. We will not book here again.

The furnishings were very old and chipped wood. Toilet was running constantly even tho no water was running in it. Bed sheets smelled good and seemed clean but bedspread was really old. Overall the property really needs updated everywhere and new windows. They have old aluminum and could hear people talking outside. The mini fridge sounded like a low fire alarm when it kicked on.

Very nice hotel. It is older, but in the process of being remodeled. My room was nice and clean. The bed was very very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was absolutely amazing. Best shower I’ve had in forever at a hotel. The continental breakfast was very good very filling. The parking no issues and the staff from beginning to end was very friendly and very helpful.

Beautiful location on the river. Helpful, friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Room clean and adequate but small and dated. Bring ear plugs as you can hear every sound from the hallway or outside and doors slam hard.

I left at 6:30 before breakfast was served, but the room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be that I was put in a connected room next to a family with children, and while I don't object to a family with children having lots of children of my own, having the connected door means I heard EVERYTHING that was said or done in that room as if it was in my own room. It was loud. Other that that the I would stay there again.

The property was in need of a makeover. I had broken things in my room. There were no wash clothes and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. They only offer antenna tv, about 20 channels. There wasn’t a location to charge any devices. Pictures below to show you your option which was across the room.

The staff was really friendly and the location was picturesque. However, the rooms were a bit dated, my tv would make a loud buzzing sound when on, and I could hear every little sound coming from outside the hotel.

Clover Island Inn is an iconic place in Kennewick which is where I’m from. Even tho it’s not a five star property I still love the setting on the Columbia River and views of the cable bridge and enjoy staying there.

Nice hotel on an island on the Columbia river. Room is a bit dated but they are updating rooms it seems. Bed was kinda hard but ok. Shower pressure was awesome. View was awesome. Like that the windows can actually open fully. Breakfast was meh. Was biscuits and gravy and sausage, not the greatest. And some mixed fruit, and soggy premade waffles. But location was great and that’s why I booked it, for the view.

I've stayed at Clover Island inn in the past. Its a good.stop on a trip from Portland to Montana and the hotel is pet friendly. There's a walking/running trail along the river and Columbia Park is nearby, making it a good locale for walking the dog before we get on the road. Not fancy, but clean, friendly, and comfortable. Good restaurants nearby. A good stay.

One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the Hotels comment on the Breakfast Buffet on how their breakfast buffet was the best in town and rare that hotels in area have one! Though the hotel was clean the buffet was anything but. They had scrambled eggs and thin bacon. Everything else was packaged food (ie muffins. Etc). Very bland. Will definitely not return. Though we did not use the outdoor pool, it was on the river with view. also if you stay ask for another floor besides bottom. Pedestrian walk path is right out side, people can see right inside your room if drapes are open.

The staff was really nice and it’s a great location, but the hotel is undergoing some major renovations so you can definitely see the age in the hotel rooms and facilities, such as the pool, common areas, etc. The on-site restaurant wasn’t open and the continental breakfast was quite honestly pretty terrible. Hopefully those components will improve once a renovation is complete. If I’m ever in the area and I know that the renovation is complete I may give it another try as it is in a really cute location and Clover Island is updating a lot of things as well.

Pros Staff was professional and friendly, check-in was fast, shower pressure was great, breakfast was AMAZING (in the top 3 ever, and we travel a lot) Cons Bed wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped (not as bad as others we’ve had at hotels), the property is a little run down, and also currently under construction. The pool and hot tub are currently out of service. I’m frustrated that the property didn’t disclose this. Upon check-in I asked how late the hot tub was open and the gal said 10pm. Once we saw it was closed, she said, “I wasn’t aware if that”. How can you work here and not be aware? The maintenance guy we ran into the morning of checkout said the hot tub is cracked and has been down for quite some time. This didn’t settle well that the staff didn’t disclose on their website, or in the welcome email, and then lied about it on check in. For the price, we would definitely stay here again. The awesome breakfast buffet made up for the hot tub being unavailable. The gal stocking it was friendly and the buffet was neat, delicious and well stocked. The only thing I wished they had in the buffet was yogurt.

This is our second time to stay there this year. When making the reservations for our second trip we had no idea the hotel was being renovated! The Crow’s Nest restaurant within the Hotel was completely closed. We had no idea we were planning on eating dinner there! The views on the river side of the hotel and fabulous ! We will stay again and hope the renovations will find the Crow’s Nest restaurant as good as the past and the prices don’t skyrocket for the hotel stay ?

It’s on an island that has a marina & boat launch. There’s a biking path and walking trails nearby.. No conveniente store on the island..There’s couple restaurants near the hotel. The hot breakfast is good and the lady serving breakfast is very friendly & welcoming.

I was disappointed by the fact that their restaurant and bar has been closed for months even though the remodel hasn't started. And their breakfast is now no better than one you would get at a Best Western. Not sure if I will stay here again
