Hotel could not provide the reserved standard room with a single king, but they upgraded us to a penthouse suite for a very small upcharge. Super-comfortable bed. Room spotless. TV tech was quaint in a 1990’s kind of way …. 40 channels of HBO but no streaming options. Nostalgic! Staff was great, shuttle service worked perfectly. Hilton needs to give this place a facelift, but if all you need is a one-nighter and easy transportation to Sea-Tac, the Doubletree is a good option.

The hotel itself was convenient to the airport, but it was so large you had to walk forever just to get to your room. It’s buildings connected together by walkways and you had to walk far, then go down in the elevator cross a different building and then go back up again. It was very inconvenient.

Massive (865 rooms) generic hotel close to the airport. Rather confusing parking arrangements as most of it is out the back (probably signed - but not as clear as i would like!) Long walk to the lobby - check in before taking bags as u may have to backtrack. Tidy, if dated rooms - good large tv with the usual amenities. Nice shower and bathroom accessories. A good airport stop off close by.

This place is a rare gem in SeaTac! The hotel staff were so nice and helpful! The beds were absolutely comfortable and we slept great. Yes the property is dated, but the service is amazing. Also, we stayed in August and enjoyed the pool and the outdoor areas - you would never know you were in the middle of a city.

Even if you are staying the night you are required to pay for parking like you are using the park and airport capabilities. Don’t think you should have to pay $38 to park at a hotel you are staying in. It is not nyc. Because of this parking it is a process to unload luggage to a room. Large facility with confusing hallways and elevators in order to get to your car to unload and get something you forgot out of the car. Gave up on driving to dinner because of parking restrictions

For the price charged for one night, this hotel is awful. It was dirty, there was no shampoo in the shower, (2 body gels and 1 conditioner bolted to the wall). The light switches in the room did not work and were melted to the wall. The closet door was stuck open. The picture on the wall looked like it was going to fall off. This should not have cost $500 for one single night.

Our room was not clean. There were used contacts on the bathroom floor, used soap and washcloth in the shower. We were so locate getting Into our room that I didn't bother calling till am. When I told the front desk they transferred me, to a line that never stopped ringing!

Comfort wise, this hotel has that heavy comforter that doesn’t breathe. Hence, you struggle to sleep between getting hot, then cold when you kick it off. Also, be aware that there’s a $45 parking fee which reduces the value of your stay. On a positive note, it is conveniently located near SeaTac airport.

Hotel was perfect for an overnight prior to a very early flight. Proximity to airport and reliable shuttle service was great. Hotel itself is a bit dated, but not run down at all. Rooms are spacious. My only complaint was the shower didn’t drain well, but that may have just been the room I was in.

This is a very busy hotel and the staff at the check in were extremely hard working. Be ready for some chaos upon check in. There are also hidden fees for parking that seemed to be for no reason. It is a large hotel. That said, the rooms were spacious and quiet. We needed two rooms and the check in person did her best to get us close together. It is clear that everyone is working to accommodate guests.

Very disappointing experience!!! My brother and I booked 2 suites for the night before his wedding day! We arrived to check in the early morning. Our rooms were denied!!!! The staff was running a night audit and would not stop the audit to check us into our suites! Told us we would have to wait for the audit to be done at 6am! My brother and his bride had their 5month old in the car and we waited almost 2 hours to get into a room. I will not stay at Double Tree again! Management did nothing to make it right!

The property have a lot of arrivals at late night, many bus loads of guests from the airport due to its proximity to it. But it's not staffed with enough receptionist to process the checkins. It took me a long time to check in at mid night which made me even more exhausted after a long day of travel.

The issue this time was check in. The check in line was over one hour. Once I arrived at check in it was 2 minutes.Check in per person were painfully slow as it seemed to be a cruise line group checking in. This kind event should have been planned for by management. The staff, of course, was great.

Worst front desk experience ever. Line was out the front door and took an hour to check in. The manager offered water and told us it was unexpectedly busy. Once we got to the desk the front desk worker told us it is just as busy every night. Once we arrived in hotel room we saw an Expedia message from hotel that we could use Hilton app for contactless check-in. Despite the huge line and long wait and interacting with the manager, this was never mentioned to us.

I showed up early for check-in and was told that my room was not available, but for an additional $40 I could get a triple upgrade to a room that was available. After refusing the upgrade I waited an additional hour and received notice from the app that they were ready for my stay and to choose my room, but the digital key option said that I must stop at the desk. This was still before my scheduled check-in time and I was told that and that I could upgrade for $49 and check-in. I heard this several times with other guests as well and several took the upgrade, looks like a scheme. I was later given the same room that I had selected.

The front desk staff were not properly trained. They were rude. Every staff person had a different answer for the same question and almost cost me missing my flight back home. They questioned my reason for checking out at 10:00 pm when I had to catch a flight back home stating that I departed too early. I paid them a month in advance of my stay to cover all cost, and they did not place me in the type of room I reserved. When I told them I was a Hilton Honors member for many years, she stated that it did not matter. I have been Hilton Honors and HGV for 20 years. I have never been treated this way, I am regarded as "legacy" whenever I stay with Hilton. I am seriously considering going to Marriott.

Has now become our go to place to stay while transiting through SeaTac. relatively safe area, quiet, decent dining options, shuttle service is excellent drivers are very professional and courteous, and maintain their schedule, and conveniently located to the airport. Stayed for one night and was a great experience. Close to airport and shuttle to airport ran every 20 minutes. Restaurant in hotel had excellent food, some of the best clam chowder we had. Would recommend staying here.

They cater to flight attendants, so I assumed it was probably a good hotel for it being older. Upkeep and customer service are not priorities. It took 5 people to get a to-go order at the restaurant. No hostess up front but when she got there, she left to find out who could take the order then sent me to a waitress station. The waitress there said she'd be with me in a minute then left to check seated customers. Next waitress asked if she could help then sent me to the bar. The person at the bar took my order, handed me a ticket with no signature lines and no pen and then disappeared. Another person at the bar asked if he could help I told him I had a to go order. He found it and got it started. While I waited he asked waitress #2 if she was glad to be back at work and with all the sarcasm she could muster she said she was. He told her he could cover her area and his. He was doing a great job, stayed busy, checked on people, wasnt overly friendly, didnt pretend to be busy. The staff restaurant dont seem to like or communicate with each other, so I knew I couldnt relax/return there. The hotel has popcorn ceilings which is expected, but not the brown stains, leaking areas, and missing light covers. The last day of my trip i realized there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling corners of my room including the bathroom and part of the patio door opening. First time I EVER got stale/hard cookie at a Double Tree, but I got fresh ones later. Depressing location.

This place is dated and has the smell of being out-dated. The set up is not for the faint of heart, it has 5 or 6 different buildings with limited signage, and the front desk wasn't eager to outline the property layout. Spare your time and money at the restaurant, terrible food and slow service.

Rooms were Clean but very dim lights hard to see in our room. The AC was broken and Our cream rinse conditioner was empty. Other than that all was good. Great shuttle service and parking for our car.

Very convenient to the SEA-TAC airport. Nice , comfortable rooms. Can be a bit confusing in getting to your room. Also be aware there is a $33.00 per day parking fee if you have a vehicle.

Huge hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Could use a make-over, probably last update in 90ies. Door was rather impossible to open; so apart from looks, regular maintenance would be good idea. Close to airport, good shuttle connection. Good breakfast buffet.

Disappointed that hot tub was not working. Security said that it’s been a couple weeks. Used the shuttle A LOT to get to and from the airport for the light rail. Many eateries within an easy walk. Lots of trees and plants gave a nice ambiance. Adequate elevators so no/little wait time to get up or down. Yummy cookies and water refill station a nice touch! We were on a redeye and was able to get an early check-in which was absolutely wonderful
