The room itself was very nice. We tried to check in early at 2:30pm and we were told our room would be ready at 4:00pm which is check-in time. The room was not ready at 4, it was not ready for another 2 hrs! There was no communication or apologies. Not even offered a free drink or meal while we waited. The entire lobby was full of people also waiting for room for hours! The room should at least be ready at check in time!

This place needs some work - most things are just OK and not what I'd expect for the price. Room - Bathroom and shower are cramped, and it has that stupid design where the glass only partially encloses the shower, leaving water on the floor every time The AC is weak and only has a single vent blowing air into the room, with none toward the cramped, hot bathroom. But for all that, it's incredibly loud. The sheets and blanket don't fit the mattress, so they (including the bottom, fitted sheet, keep coming loose Service The "housekeeping" is very limited. They seemed to come in and remove the trash every day (which I appreciat), and swapped out the towels most times. But they didn't clean outside the bathroom (vacuum, etc.) or even make the bed (much less change the sheets) even once during a 12-night stay. They also went in and emptied the trash on a day I was in the gym when I'd put up the "do not disturb" sign, but DIDN'T go in the day I put up the "please service room" sign. I also had a minor maintenance/housekeeping issue I wanted to alert them to and get assistance. But no one answered the phone at housekeeping or guest services, and I ended up having to deal with it myself. Gym Mostly good, but there were no cleaning supplies (wipes, spray/papertowels) to wipe down machines before and after using them. And at least one time there were no towels either.

Had to wait in line for an hour to check in. The lobby was full of people who had already tried to check in but their room easnt ready. Checkin was at 4 and we got there at 6. I went to use the washcloth in the room, got it wet, and realized there was what looked like toothpaste and something pink on it. I did not use it. At the restaurant at breakfast I ordered French toast and bacon. I got French toast with sausage. I told the waitress and she went to check I was so hungry so I was getting ready to take a bite of the french toastand she grabbed the plate and took it away. I didnt think they could serve a plate to someone else once the plate had been given to someone else. I just assumed they would bring me some bacon.

Really disappointed and shocked at the initial arrival check-in accommodations. Called to check in early and was told my room was still not clean. Got there at 4:30 and stood in line for 2 hours which made us late for our event. I’ve stayed at several of the Davenports and have never experienced anything like this. Rooms weren’t ready, not enough support at the front desk and not enough cleaning staff. No offer for any compensation and some people were sent away at 7 and told to go to the event and come back afterwards and still ended up standing in line for an hour. After talking to many people at the hotel including staff, they say this is normal for this hotel and nothing has ever been done about it. Communal bathrooms were disgusting and no toilet paper. I’ve never left a bad review but this was awful and I’m hoping management will take some action because it’s a great location and could be an amazing place to stay.
