I only booked this room because I was cycling the Seattle to Portland 206 mile bicycle ride. I live in the area, but I wanted a hot tub for my overnight, mid point during the ride. The hot tub had so much chlorine that it hurt my eyes, just being in the room. This reservation was a waste of money and I could have just gone home. However the bed was excellent and the breakfast was amazing.

During check in our card was charged for the entire 3 night stay instead of just for incidental even though we pre-paid through Expedia prior. That put us in the negative, was chaged an overdraft fee and took days for them to put the money back, super frustrating. There is no bathroom on the 1st floor for guest to use. Whe asked of there was a restroom durwhile eating breakfast the front desk later was rude and stated "its for employees only" she allowed my elderly mother to use it and snapped at her saying "make sure you lock it when you're done". There is no elevator in this hotel, only stairs. The hot tub area is enclosed, no ventilation and the chlorine was really strong. It was rough to breath in, eyes burning and the window would not even crack, appeared to be rusted shut. We opended the door to that area and the main door to the the gym just to get a little air floor. Couldnt stay long our eyes couldnt take the chemicals.

This is an older hotel and it needs love. No elevator and it was no fun pulling 4 suitcases upstairs. They did have a very nice breakfast and the rooms were super quiet.

The hotel was nice and clean. Only think we wish we would have know is that you have to go up the stairs with your bags. But other then that the gym was good and the breakfast in the morning was the best we have had in a long time!

We had a fantastic stay! Great value for the price. Clean and comfortable. The only frustration is that there was a hot tub advertised and it CLEARLY has not been in use for some time. Please don't advertise amenities that are not available.

Clean hotel and beds were comfy. Breakfast was decent. One thing is they do not have an elevators and we could only get a room on 2nd floor. Not sure if this info was on Hotels.com website (i did not read all the details), but would be good if this is called out so customers are aware.

Best part of the stay were the courteous, helpful, welcoming, and efficient workers, especially Kyle at the front desk and the hard-working housekeepers. Offered me and my pets a treat at check-in. Room was thoroughly clean with minor wear and tear. Bed very soft.

It’s okay, clean enough. I was expecting more for the price, but guess I was off. Hallways and room had an older yucky smell, particularly in the hot weather. But room and bed was comfy enough, bed on squishy side.

This hotel was in terrible shape. The shower curtains were barely hanging from the bar, the tile was stained and the overall cleanliness was lacking. I was traveling with a little dog and he was going crazy for something under the bed. I pulled out the mattress and found a tennis ball, soiled handtowel and a bag of water (probably an ice pack) along with a fair amount of dust and grime. It was really pretty awful

Bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Bathroom floor tile grout was missing and tiles were loose on the floor. Bathroom should be repaired before it is rented out to anyone. Otherwise the room was acceptable.

The room was clean for how dated it was. The easy chairs were both stained. The carport was old and stained. The room smelled very musty. The bedding was clean and nice. But the bed felt old and uncomfortable. I was expecting much better from the ratings. And the check in guy seemed short with me and a bit rude.

Overall great experience. We checked in with a pet and they provided us with a little goodie bag for our dog. Staff was wonderful and quick to assist with the only issue we had within the room. The noise from others could be easily heard (people walking around upstairs in the room above us and noise from the neighboring room) but the hotel isn’t at fault for that. Just thin walls. Overall great stay.

Noisy outside my room. A smoking/get drunk/talk on the phone loudly place with a picnic table under a tree. Half the town has been at that table this afternoon/evening. Can’t air out my room by opening the window due to noise & smoke.

The restroom near the breakfast room was locked, after a long while I tried it again, after the third attempt I asked the desk clerk if there was another restroom. She indicated that they locked it to dissuade vagrants from coming in. There was NO SIGN to indicate such information and to get the staff to open the restroom. Additionally, the breakfast was left to run out while the staff chatted with friends... The noise level of the guests above us was incredibly loud. Not a place I would recommend!!

Our stay was amazing. This hotel was clean, had a great continental breakfast with a wide variety of options, efficient housekeepers and an amazing front desk crew. We want to specifically acknowledge Kyle as he went above and beyond during our stay. We have never had an employee make our stay in an already great hotel so much better by being such a helpful and kind key to it all. We want to thank Kyle for being such a great employee and making our stay even better!

We had a unique situation with an elderly guest and an illness. The staff member, Heather was able to help us change rooms. So we had a more accessible room on the first floor. (Other staff mumbled about the inconvenience of cleaning rooms etc.) When my mother became ill, Heather was able to extend our stay. Thanks for your help!

Woman at the front desk was unfriendly and unhelpful. She told me three different times she couldn't help me and didn't know the answer to my questions. I Never was accommodated or helped. Knocked on my door 2 minutes before check out to tell me My time was up and I had to leave. Was rude when I left said I was yelling at her when I was just telling her it was completely unprofessional and unnecessary to knock on paying customers door. Thankfully, Kyle the gentleman that worked there when I checked in Friday night and later on Sunday was very professional and helpful.

Morning staff person was unbelievably rude and dismissive. Not the type of person who should be working in a hospitality position. Her snotty attitude and demeanor really negated all the positives we experienced at this property. This was in dramatic contrast to the warm welcome we received the night before at our very late check-in.

It's not the fault of the hotel at all, but there is an abandoned gas station in front of the Best Western and it looks pretty shady. Most of the surrounding area is fine - offices and restaurants. It will be nice for the hotel when the construction of the main intersection out front is complete as well.

The area around the hotel looks very run down. Our evening check-in clerk was very friendly. Unfortunately, I was unable to get hot water that night and the next day from the bathroom sink. Also, the breakfast was not good- the eggs and hash browns were cold and the pastries were stale.

This is my first choice when I go to Olympia to visit family. Although it is in Tumwater it is in a convenient area near Fred Meyer, Walmart and Costco if you are interested in shopping. Easy access to freeway. I especially like their breakfast! When so many hotels have eliminated hot dishes, this hotel puts out a wonderful buffet of breakfast dishes! Everything from oatmeal to waffles to breakfast wraps, hash browns, etc. Even the coffee was good! We love it!

The staff at the hotel were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with a good selection at the hot food bar. The kids enjoyed all the choices and the staff kept everything full, even with a visiting football team eating at the same time. Everything was disposable so there was a lot of trash - so not a perfect score for the eco-friendliness. The rooms were comfortable.

It was a nice room. Large enough for me for the two nights. A little old but not bad at all. The breakfast was OK, not great. There was a sign that said to "Ask about gluten free options" but the only thing (outside some of the cereal and oatmeal) was gluten free bread.
