Too many small children and babies in the hot tub. Hot tub was filthy, kids wearing jeans and pajamas in the pool.and hot tub. Kids running all over the hotel. Hotel security was not around

Staff was nice and helpful. Lobby was nice and breakfast was good. However, the rooms and halls felt rundown. The pool area had a sewage/rotten egg smell and the drains around the pool were overflowing with dirty water…not good.

Definitely would not recommend they have really let this place go. Not clean and broken stuff everywhere. Main elevator down the entire trip and never saw anyone there to even look at it. Rail in other elevator about to fall off. Only ice machine that worked was on level 4 no one working to get those fixed either. No water in culligan machine in the gym. Breakfast sucked it’s a free continental most places here it’s 10-16$. My girlfriend got yelled at by security for looking for her lost car keys on the deck after hours instead of helping her look for our lost keys even though it’s clearly important we have those so we can go home. Room was fine ac only worked night 2.

Staff was friendly, lobby area is nice, but this place is in need of some repairs and a thorough cleaning of the outside of the building. Room was clean, but the carpet and bed felt damp. This could be the result of our first floor room being on the river side of the building. The A/C worked to keep the room cool, but I felt like I was in the midst of cold sweat while in the room. Ice machines on the first two floors were out of order. Paint chipping off the floor with each step in the pool room. It was fine, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

Nice bedding, tv. Pool area dirty, no towels, mildew buildup in the hot tub. Restaurant permanently closed, no shuttle service, the van was rusted out and had an expired license plate. Front desk personnel not at all cordial. Nothing near the hotel to do, restaurants > 1.5 miles away.

My stay here was absolutely horrible! I was booked for the weekend only stayed one night and went to another hotel! The room has a horrible smell, TV did not work, the air conditioner was leaking water so the carpet was soaking and wet which is what was causing the room too. The linen had a smell. The rooms are old and outdated. Staff wasn’t able to change my room until the next morning and that room was horrible as well so I left and found a better hotel!

Airconditioning unit leaked water into the carpet, which of course resulted in wet socks. This no smoking hotel had smoke penetrating into our room, but the smoker couldn't be found. There were no extra rooms to move us into and because we booked through a third-party, we were not compensated for any inconvenience. The staff was quite nice. Such a shame they have to be on the receiving end of complaints about this facility.

This was disgustingly gross. We gad to change rooms due to smell of mutt odor. Then our second room was dirty with tape on the walls. Holiday Inn name brand disappointed us terribly. As a member, I deserved better.

The shower had rust stains, dirt, and hair. The linen had stains and there fingerprints on the windows. Dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I switched rooms, and the staff was nice to accommodate me, but the second room was also dirty.

Parking and check-in were fast and easy, room was clean, bathroom was tiny. When I checked in there were no King rooms left(which is what I had booked) which was fine, but I also paid for the riverview and we didnt get that either...We got a nice view of the air conditioning unit/parking lot.

Stayed to be closer to the airport. The it was good enough, not microwave in the room but has one in the lobby. View of river isn’t pretty, this is good place for a one night stay.

They are terribly understaffed. I stayed for 3 days and 2 nights, on at least 3 separate shifts there was only 1 person on staff, once during the day. Both nights that I stayed there I was abruptly awaken very early in the morning by the hotels fire alarm. The first morning the alarm was going off for about 30 minutes starting around 7:15a.m., they turned it off for about 10 minutes before it started going off again for about another 20 minutes. The second morning the fire alarm started going off somewhere around 5:30a.m for about 15 minutes. After that the alarm went off several more times. After all of this, I was offered a $50.00 refund from the manager for not having a peaceful or relaxing stay. I'm surprised she was authorized to offer such a huge financial compensation, especially considering that I spent over $300.00 at this establishment. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!

This stay didn’t represent your brand nearly as much as in the past. You had a maintenance ticket open from previous guests. Maintenance knocked on the door at an odd and unexpectedly time. That was nerve wrecking to begin with as we didn’t call for maintenances. Then we chose your location due to pool and breakfast and breakfast was the most disappointing thing ever. One person trying to handle everyone. No assistance from other team members because “we are all in our spots and people called out.” (Yeah I asked why no one here chatting it up didn’t assist the poor lady). Then a regular dining experience of ordering and being served. One item of pancakes isn’t a breakfast. You would have done better with a small buffet styled setup where 1-2 people could have handled it. Very misleading. Wouldn’t have stayed there if I had known. Security incident with another occupant. In trying to assist, no one has access to security cameras. Not even the police. Could have eliminated and issue well ahead of time. Overall, a very crappy stay.

The staff were absolutely fantastic to me and my girlfriend. It was our long awaited getaway for the weekend. we were in the area for a concert and enjoyed everything about our interactions with the staff. we were however, disappointed at the lack of attention our room got from house keeping. We came back from a day out exploring downtown milwaulkee and found that our room had not been tended to. we asked on three different occasions from our phone to front desk to send up new linens so we can freshen up the room ourselves and they never came, neither did the extra towels we requested. Its not enough for us to say we would never return because we loved our time in the hotel it was just quite disappointing.

The restaurant and bar at the hotel was not open. The breakfast was limited options and what they did have was expensive. We were not disgusted about the hotel. It was clean and served its purpose for what we needed. There are limited food options nearby so if your wanting food options that are easily accessible I would not recommend. Also, its at least a 10-15 minute drive to downtown Milwaukee. Overall an average hotel.

This location is a short walk away from Sprecher Brewery and Solly's Grille. Both of these are local, historical, family friendly, dining experiences that you can only get in Milwaukee. Being so close to both of these and right off the highway made this Holiday Inn location the optimal spot to stay for a casual trip.

I was told breakfast was from 6:00-9:00 AM. She neglected to say that I would need to pay. It seemed as though it was a complimentary breakfast, but indeed it was not. It was a cost. The breakfast was not good. Please work on making food at least tast good if your going to charge a fee.

Found the staff friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. However they need to update their social media. Had a full restaurant and a bar but not open except for breakfast. 6-9. No free continental breakfast. Most restaurants have at least coffee out all the time. Not here. Only 6-9. However you have kurigs in your room. For breakfast one could order off the menu or have a full breakfast $16. I used Expedia for the first time and the price was good. Probably why no breakfast included. Some people got coupons for free breakfast. It didn’t matter to me cuz I usually can’t eat what they have for continental breakfasts due to no healthy options. Yes I would stay here again.

I’ve never had a breakfast at a Holiday Inn that you have to pay for. The breakfast was just like what other properties offer for free as a “continental breakfast”, even less choices actually, and it was $16 per person if you didn’t have it included in your stay. It’s safe to say that you can get a better breakfast at another spot in town for that price. That was the only downfall of this hotel.

I really liked the friendliness of everyone there. It felt like coming home each time I returned to the hotel. It's not fancy, but it is very nice and funcional. The room is clean and large, the hot tob is great and I also used the gym multiple times. The a la carte breakfast that was included was basic but good and the buffet on the weekends was perfect. Josh and the other staff members were very friendly and efficient. The location was excellent for the places I needed to go and the free parking is great.

The pool had no heat in the water. Just cold room temp. We were charged $5.00 for a hot ordered breakfast but the cook didn't show up. We were served a cold breakfast and told to keep the breakfast coupon.

Check in was easy. The lady had us sign up for IHG rewards and then we received a complimentary coupon for breakfast for two the next day. The room was standard and it faced the river which was nice. There were two issues. One was easily fixed- our key didn't work for the pool. It was changed twice and when we went back again the front desk lady also tried hers and it wasn't working, but she let us in using a set of keys. The second was breakfast....I'm grateful we received a coupon bc breakfast was it lackluster at the least. They were out of many things at the same time, and the place was empty at about 8:30. They had no coolers for milk/yogurt. They had no place for water. I had to ask and she filled it behind a bar. They had cereal, so maybe I would have had to ask for milk for that as well. Who knows. They did have hot options, toast, cereal, and that's about it. Very small considering we'd have had to pay for this. So I'd stay there again for sure, just not get breakfast there
