It’s apparent this hotel (Glendale/Milwaukee location) hasn’t been updated in quite some time, and it shows externally & internally! *Interior- Old furniture, doors that look like they’ve been repainted at least a couple times that you question if they will stay shut or locked. Carpets look VERY worn and smell musty. Breakfast isn’t good. *Exterior- The parking lot was full of pot holes, didn’t seem to be maintained at all. I reserved a single king bedroom for my husband and I. We found a stuffed children’s toy (unicorn at least 1’ tall) underneath the lounge chair (not sure how that was missed during cleaning?!?). I also noticed our fitted bed sheet was “discolored” in spots. The full length mirror needs to be replaced, it looked like it was fogged over. When I tried to wipe the mirror off with a towel nothing came off, not sure why it continues to stay on the wall…you can’t even see anything! Bed was comfy. Nightstand alarm clock was broken, didn’t even turn on when plugged in. Overall- It’s apparent that cleaning isn’t a top priority at this location! I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone traveling to the Milwaukee area. We’ve stayed at multiple AmericInn’s in Wisconsin and had great experiences, however this was not a good experience. This location needs a lot of TLC!!

Breakfast was okay. Room was clean. Parking was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wake up call by the fire alarm at 6:00am sucked a little but over all the stay was good.

Right by a highway. Industrial area. Not much curb appeal.

Very affordable and the service, amenities, and room were all very nice. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. I appreciated access to a parking lot, plenty of restaurants and a nice shopping mall within walking distance (half mile to a mile or so). There is a small fitness room, that was also convenient. Although a treadmill would be great, you could still get some exercise. I would definitely come again and recommend this hotel.

Hotel now has a new name. Hotel is quiet but with easy access to the interstate. My go to place to stay and got a good price.

Hotel is dated, but it's safe and a cheap place to spend the night. The room was acceptable (not the greatest beds, but good enough). If you're the type who likes to sit around in the hotel all day, this isn't the place for you, as there aren't any amenities, other than the free breakfast (they had oatmeal, sausage patties, cereal, mini muffins, waffles, and reconstituted scrambled eggs, and some other basic things. Good enough for a property of this type. The attendant did a nice job of keeping the dining area clean and the food stocked.). I would stay here again for the price I paid.

Great location and free parking

The first impression we both had when we entered the room was that it smelled damp, musty like mildew. Very unpleasant. We turned off the AC because it didn’t look particularly clean and we didn’t want to be breathing all that extra dirt all night. The shower curtain smelled like mildew and we thought it was odd that there wasn’t a liner. There was a good size puddle on the top of the vanity in one corner. I asked where they had a water bottle filling station and was sent to the workout room. There was a water fountain which I was definitely not going to use to refill my water bottle.

The stay was OK. Not what I really expected. The hotel I thought this was I thought I had a pool and a workout room, but it didn’t. So I couldn’t cancel for the next day without them charging me full price for the room. I was also charged for each kid versus most hotels don’t. The outlets by the bed didn’t work and my items in the refrigerator were frozen because only way the refrigerator would stay cold was if you cranked the temperature. And breakfast was average. Other than that, it was a nice break from home. Just not what I was expecting.

Look for the overpass to turn. It’s by a car wash. And the parking lot does have potholes. But still a great stay.

Check in went well. The room smelled bad like it used to be a smoking room. And in the morning there was a cockroach running aciross the wall. I managed to kill it and we left immediately. We told the guest services at the front and they don't send surprised at all and they did not offer a refund. Will not be staying here again.

The property is steps away from a great walking trail and park, which hosts a wonderful market on Sundays. Other stores, including Trader Joe's, is a 4 minute walk from the property also. The staff was generally helpful but were sometimes a little too attached to their cell phones. The room was clean but did have somewhat of musty smell, but that could have been because it was next door to the laundry room and the humidity from the commercial machines could have been the contributor of the dampness smell.

The front desk people were very nice and the lobby was fine. but our room was not great. it definitely needed a deep clean. There was a leak from the refrigerator running on the floor, you could tell this was originally an old hotel that they tried to improve but it just didn’t really work. At least the bed was fairly comfortable. The bedding was clean.

Extremely dirty room. Fruit snacks stuck to the floor, mirror and tv has smear marks on them. There was hair in the sink, the sink bowl was cracked

We got in late last night due to traveling and went straight to sleep. We woke up this morning and found stains on the bed sheets, long dark hair on the shower curtain, makeup on the towels, and pubic hairs on the floor. Absolutely disgusting

I thought the staff was very friendly. The concierge even gave us a room upgrade. However, our room was pretty dirty. The bed was the worst. All of the sheets, blankets, pillows, were either stained or dirty. We got in at 3 am after a concert, and I was too tired to worry about switching rooms or bedding. I slept on top of the covers and put a shirt over my pillow. It was not good.

I was extremely uncomfortable. There were several stains on the sheets, the room was dirty, I killed a massive spider, and I also killed several fruit flies that were flying around the sink. I slept on towels in the bed because I felt so uncomfortable.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was average. However the beds were terrible! Five out of the six pillow cases had something on them (make-up, dirt marks, stains). One bed had a long dark hair and crumbs in it when I pulled the covers back. Lastly, the fitted sheet was not on completely and exposed brown stains on the corner of the mattress. I used my own blanket from my car and slept on top of the bed on a pillow covered with one of my shirts. Do not plan to stay here again!

Sheets were not changed, had make up and stained bodily fluids.

We found a bed bug on the last morning of our two night stay. Management gave us big garbage bags, and we had to go find a laundromat to clean a week’s worth of belongings (this was the first stop on our trip). This severely delayed our trip, and was expensive to purchase new suitcases and better garbage bags, beyond the expense of paying for our laundry to get cleaned and heated up enough to kill anything. Overall, the room was fine but definitely dated, and not the best cleaned. The beds were also very small, and we could clearly hear the conversations in the rooms next to us.

Windows need cleaned and updated. Window is cracked and screen is ready to fall out. Room and building needs repairs and updates. Air conditioner/heater makes noies every time it turns on. Sounds picky but these are things that would make the stay even better. It already cost to much.

King size comfy bed

Check in was good, staff was very friendly. Our bed felt like we were sleeping on a board it was so hard. I had a really hard time sleeping because of this. The continental breakfast was mediocre and the eggs were terrible and tasted like I was chewing on rubber. We only went to the free breakfast once out of our three day stay.

The staff was nice and accommodating...when you could find them and depending who was at the desk. Our check in was easy, but we had to wait 10 minutes for someone to help us check out. Our pillows were covered in hair that didn't belong to us, not enough towels, our door had paper towels shoved in the lock, you could hear other people's conversations through the walls, and they were missing molding in the corner of their room.

If you like to bike, you're in luck. You have access to the Oak Leaf Trail right off the hotel property. We biked less than five miles to the museum campus. Internet access worked great at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was very good, with hot and cold choices available. Two great Indian restaurants are close by.

The hotel is located in a quiet suburb of Milwaukee- a short drive from downtown which was nice. The hotel was also nice- good breakfast. The biggest issue was the rooom. There was some water damage in the bathroom season which leaked rust when wet. Also, the bathtub drained slowly which was annoying considering we had multiple people showering in the morning.

The rooms are nice however I stayed in room 203 for 3 nights and couldn't take it anymore because the mattress was horrible, my back was really hurting because of it. It should be thrown out because it's totally worn-out slumps in it. Where i requested another room for the 4th night after telling the front desk they said they understood and immediately put me in another room (207) which they told me to lay on the mattress and see how it feels. It was much better ,the room was nice, setup the same way and for that l am pleased 😀.

This is an older hotel, with not much to offer. Bed was pretty comfortable; most other items are older. Bathroom fan is very noisy. A bit dreary.

The bed was comfortable. The room appeared to be recently renovated with new paint and new carpet.

They required a cash deposit of $100 which is not stated on Expedia website. Although the cash deposit was refunded upon checkout, it was a great inconvenience.

As always it’s the best place to stay in Glendale/milwaukee. The staff is the best!

Needs more communication on housekeeping. No clean up for 5 days of stayed.

I didn't like thatvi had to ask for fresh towels and to be able to get them i had to bring the used one down to the front desk. Breakfast was short and limited. Otherwise it was ok.

We go in late from a concert and we went to check in and they front desk gave us someone else room. We walked into someone sleeping. That’s so unsafe. When we go to our room, there were dead bugs, cobs webs, stains on the sheets and pillows and food pieces in the corners. Thank goodness it was only one night we stayed but I need a partial refund for the unsafe protocols. 0/10 DO NOT STAY HERE

The staff deserves recognition for superior customer service from the desk clerk to the cleaning staff. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel was clean. I would stay there again.

In town for a wedding. Front desk helped us to check in early so we could get ready in time. Much appreciated!

This is an older hotel and so it doesn't have all the modern amenities but it makes up for it in customer service! The manager on duty was just delightful and so helpful. He was shorthanded but still managed to help a man in a wheelchair carry his breakfast to his room, show me step by step how to log onto the wifi, and he replaced the entire coffee service to make sure the coffee was up to snuff and not watery. The hotel was clean, the food was out on time for breakfast and fresh, and the room was quiet and well kept. For a weekend stay it was well worth the price and I woudl recommend.

Upon checking in, I received a welsome text that asked me to reply if I needed anything. I realized I had forgot a toothbrush and comb so I texted/asked if they had one I could get or buy. There was no response during my entire stay. Don't send an automated invite to be able to text a guest's needs if no one checks it after. Also the room was not clean. Black hair in bathroom and in tub and even the base of the floor lamp had enough dust you could write your name on it.

This place is clean with comfortable beds. Location is near the highway (but not loud) and shopping and nice restaurants around Glendale. Staff are very professional and nice. Shout out to Margo and the man who helped us check in. They are very accommodating and understanding of our requests.

Great location and free parking

Good location, accessible to both Glendale walking store mall and not too far from Downtown Milwaukee.

Can't beat the value, and not too far away from Milwaukee downtown. The fact that it's a 5 minute walk to a Kopp's surely helps!

This spot was just outside of downtown and a fraction of the price of downtown hotels. Total, with taxes and fees, was less than a hundred bucks. Service was great! Everything was BASICALLY clean, but not DEEPLY clean, if that makes sense. Is give it a 3.5 out of 5, or a 7 out of 10. Definitely would stay again.

Coffee available in lobby as well as the room . Breakfast sausage links are better than the patties they have otherwise the breakfast is decent.The hot water is excellent, it gets nice and hot for a nice hot sitting bath to soothe sore aching muscles 😁👏👏👏💯❤️👍!!!

Great breakfast

The King room was clean and sufficient in size; there was a quarter inch hole in bathroom door that I alerted front desk about so I wasn’t blamed- told they were aware; I could not get any movie channels on the TV which was a bummer; I called front desk but was no help-she was to check with other staff & call back, but didn’t. Breakfast was just ok- eggs were cold/sausage patties looked disgusting; no tea options other than Lipton; only bananas as fresh fruit; no wheat or 9 grain bread for toast; no half/half for coffee.

They change soil towels and linen as requested or earlier. Coffee and tea 24 hrs. Need better selection of breakfast foods!!only bananas on Sunday.

Our stay was only for one night but everything went well. The rooms have been redone and they look nicer, very clean. They no longer want you to take your food up to your room for breakfast that is a change. Staff were friendly at breakfast, we love the east access to 43 and our stay is always quiet and safe.
