Our hotel stay was Amazing for our family. This Best Western did a fantastic job. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our rooms and all of the areas were kept very clean. We enjoyed the hot breakfast that was included with our stay. We also enjoyed the free tickets to Noah’s Water Park for our family. This was a great value for the whole package.

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Love that tickets to Noah's Arc are included with the whole stay. Breakfast was good every day. Outdoor and indoor pools are kept up. Overall clean hotel. Rooms are nice and spacious. Unfortunately some guests spilt food in one of the stairways and it wasn't cleaned up during our stay.

We arrived earlier then check in time. They allowed us to check in and our room was ready foe us before 4. Loved that in your 2 night stay you get free Noah's Ark passes to the water park. What a great deal. The indoor and out door pool are wonderful. Plenty of room to swim, specially since the hotel seemed like it was completely booked. Breakfast ia including in your stay. Highly recommend going early because very busy during this time. We stayed here in the winter when we were there for softball tournaments, and stayed there now for Volleyball tournament. Will definitely go back if we aree in the Dells again.

The rooms are very nice - the indoor pool needs some TLC and so does the outdoor area - the gates and doors were broken, and we had to walk around. There was a homeless man out by the outside pool in the morning and approached me and my daughter - he was not a guest. The breakfast area is in the lobby and is a long walk and over crowded but they do their best to make it easy for everyone.

The room was nice - 2queen beds, table with 2 chairs. No lounge chair. Most outlets worked to charge devices. Decent WiFi. Quiet room, did not hear neighbors or hallway noise. Cleaning staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff was very friendly, kept area clean and well stocked. Check-in staff was courteous and helpful. Pool was pretty big. Hot tub was clean. Sauna was out of service.

Hotel main floor smells very bad. We had booked two rooms and both rooms also had bad smell, one of the room wasn’t even cleaned. There was garbage in the room, towels were on the floor in the washroom. After talking to front desk, we got different rooms on another floor, packed all our stuff and moved to other rooms to find that those new rooms had fruit flies. It got on our food and had to through our food away. Hotel including rooms need cleaning and maintenance. Couldn’t stand it and end up checking out of the hotel at 2am in the morning to another hotel. Hotel’s manager agreed to full refund but it was a terrible experience. My kids and wife don’t even want to think of it again for a sec, it was nightmare for our family. Won’t be staying at Best Western ever again. I would rather sleep in my car.

First of all I would like to commend the staff member that checked dozen who was very nice. Unfortunately the room was less to be desired.... Having had stayed at this location in previous years, the room was in horrible shape compared to before. When we walked in there were no bath towels to take a shower with, the sink still had toothpaste in it from the people before, toilet was not cleaned and the desk chair seat looked like it was dismantled and torn apart like an animal attacked it. When we called the front desk we were told that she was the only one there and that she did not have another room to put us in because they were completely full for the night. She was very nice but could not help us because she was alone and taking care of everything else she had to do. Since we got there so late from the road trip we just got stock staying there because we didn't have time to find something else that late at night. We were told that they would contact hotels.com and offer us some form of discount. We are hoping that that will happen. As of yet we have not heard anything from hotels.com on the matter.

Beware ! Health hazard ! Black mold in shower . Bed mattress was old and lost its firmness. Amana heating unit was really loud and had to wear earplugs. I confronted front desk about issues, and all they said was we're sorry. Won't be staying at a Best Western ever again.

We rented three rooms for our stay. After we saw the conditions of the bathrooms and sinks I bought a scrubber and spray at CVS and took care of the black mold growth under the sinks and handles and corners of the tub. Your cleaning staff really needs to invest in scrub BRUSHES to take care of soap build up and mold growth as rags will not do the job. We thought about reporting these conditions to the front desk, but since it was in all three rooms it was obvious that it was just the way the rooms are taken care of and not simply an oversight.

My husband and I were staying overnight after working all day and driving to the hotel so we could meet family to celebrate my birthday! We were laying in the bed after showering and I went to cover up and told my husband I think a bug just fell on the floor but then we couldn’t find it! When he got up to shut the light off to go to bed I told him there is something on the pillow he quickly turned the light back on only to find a bed bug crawling on the pillow that was 6” from my face. We immediately called room service and were told they could move us across the hall! At that point I was thoroughly grossed out and we cancelled meeting family and drove the 3 hours back home.

We’ve been returning to this hotel for five consecutive years for our family summer vacations, and it continues to be our go-to spot. This year, we even added a spontaneous 2-night Spring break stay. In my previous review after last summer, I mentioned that the carpets and some room furniture were showing signs of wear. So it was a delightful surprise to see the entire hotel beautifully recarpeted when we visited in March. Our July stay was just as impressive—updates were underway for room amenities, including the refrigerators, microwaves, and chairs. We especially appreciated the improvements in the balcony rooms, which are our preferred choice each summer. The breakfast throughout our stay was consistently excellent, and the staff went above and beyond—even during the busy 4th of July week. The front desk team is always warm and welcoming, and their kindness is one of the reasons we keep coming back. We’re already planning another short 2-night visit in mid-August before the school year starts. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had a 2 queen bed and 1 king bed room. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Lots to choose from. The staff was so friendly. The rooms are a bit dated but we were only there to sleep.

Staff not personable at time of check in. Never introduced himself and didn’t say a word until he asked for my license and credit card. Gave us a room that was still in the process of cleaning - had to wait outside room for 10 minutes for hskping to finish. No luggage cart at the entrance we used . Bathtub had major mold in caulking.Very disappointed in stay. Internet and tv service TERRIBLE! Staff said nothing they could do but call the cable service for tv.

The room sucked the fan on our furnace was way to loud to sleep I have a video of it the tv wouldn’t work I had to figure out why and our patio door doesn’t work good at all overall just terrible

The front desk staff tried to charge me at check in $153 and I already prepaid Expedia $118. The pool is really nice and fun, not many places in the Midwest offer an outdoor pool! We prepaid for a balcony room but were given a “poolside” room. The view was poor and unkept and you still have to walk through the hotel to get to the pool.

Had a reservation a month in advance just to be told when I arrived that everyone in party needed to be 21 and over, although (me) was over 21 and reserved the hotel. All other members of my party were 20. Asked why this wasn’t said when reserving hotel and got no answer. The person who helped us was extremely rude (so called supervisor) and was laughing at the fact that I was three hours away from home with no place to stay now. I asked if there was any nearby hotels that would take us last minute with the fact of my party being under 21 and was told “I don’t know” later to find out that the supervisor who was helping us ALSO worked at the hotel we had to book last minute across the street that luckily had a room for us on such a busy weekend. Yet…he had NO idea if there was any other hotels that could take us in and would not help us.

The room was fine and breakfast was good. The person that checked us in needs some training in customer service. He didn't acknowledge we were there. When he did finally help us, he got us checked in and gave us our keys and a pamphlet and told us everything we needed to know was in the pamphlet. I asked what time breakfast started and he looked at me like i was an idiot and told me to read the pamphlet. A simple thing like greeting us as we came in and answering a simple question would have went a long way. I was very annoyed.

My experience was fantastic. I want to give a shout out to Angel that was working when I checked in. 1/2 of my party didnt show for the trip and i had 2 rooms booked. Angel was able to get me a full refund on my 2nd room. It took her about 45 mintues to do this but told me to head to our room and she would take care of it. Called me and let me know it was done. I was very apprecistive of this!! Great place, great breakfast selection and all the staff was super nice. Rooms were clean and a good size.

It was clearly understaffed during a busy period with in town youth baseball and basketball. We tried checking in at 2:30 but they helped us get another room away from all the baseball families. Thus we were told to come back at 4. When we arrived at 4, the lobby was filled with parents of the baseball teams and only 2 people helping with check in. I waited 40 minutes in line and then was told that I got my original room and not the one that would have enabled us to be away from all the youth baseball families. We were late getting to dinner as well. I’d recommend they set up check in for baseball families and another line for non baseball families. We appeared to be the only non-baseball family in the line we were in.

We were in the Dells for an event and fortunately for us, there was a Best Western. The facility is not new, but our room was great. Quiet. Private. Everything working well. We came and went effortlessly. Parking was plentiful. Everything was within 10 minutes driving. There's so much going on in the Dells and this hotel was perfect for our visit.

Excellent, friendly service. EVERYONE was so nice and helpful. It's an older hotel, and could really use an update, but I was happy with the exceptional cleanliness. The breakfast area was surprisingly large, open, sunny and very clean. I've been traveling around the country for a good part of the year staying in various 3 to 5 star hotels with varying amenities, so it's worth noting that this breakfast was exceptional! The hot items (fluffy, fresh scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy) were not only delicious, but also actually HOT! They also provided 4 Belgian waffle makers with a variety of add-ins and toppings. In addition, there was a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt machine, breads, pastry and donuts, juice and beverages. Great start to the day. Conveniently located, as well. We will definitely stay there again.

The best Western was very nice checking in was easy quick. Was asked which room would we prefer which was very nice. The bed was extremely soft and comfortable. Had a very, very very nice 50 inch TV. Much preferred to those little 32 inches you can barely see across the room. My husband had the breakfast and he said it was very good had many many choices, different kind of eggs, waffles, pancakes, and meat. He was very pleased. Would stay here again.

The location was perfect. Breakfast was ridiculous since it was so crowded and had to wait in line for a while to get your food. BF was nothing special. Missing few light bulbs making room even darker. Sink was draining slowly. Front desk workers were nice and pleasant.

Typical hotel stay, good experience. This location is in a great spot, close to downtown Dells. They gave free passes for a two night stay so that was a good perk. The one negative is their breakfast. It was good but their line for the waffles was ridiculous. People were making 10-15 waffles for their family and bringing them to their rooms. People were getting angry, people were cutting the line. We waited 30 mins and ended walking to Denny’s next door to get pancakes. They could definitely use a supervisor in the breakfast area during busy times.
