This hotel is an old-style Guatemalan hotel that has been updated. The overall feel is old-fashioned. Though the rooms have been updated, there's a lot of dark wood that feels oppressive (though the real wood floors are nice). The bed was hard, as is common in more traditional Guatemalan hotels. We stayed in a suite with a kitchenette. While it was surprisingly large, it had no plates or utensils or anything else. Even the coffee provided was only one serving for a room for two people. We used the gym which is small but with nice, new equipment. The location is great, and overall the hotel is a good value.

Safe, easy to walk to many restaurants in the area. Easy to get an uber or taxy, and most of all the staff. Very very friendly staff. Laundry service, and ATM services inside the hotel area, also a breakfast buffet and a restaurant that has many food options within the hotel and a bar. The room has a separate living room with a kitchen. I always have a great experience. This would be my third long stay while visiting Guatemala 🇬🇹 ❤️

Friendly, professional, helpful, bi-lingual staff. Hotel is in a great, safe location, with much to do and see along the avenues. Close to airport and Casa Veranda offers shuttle service at a very reasonable price. Room was comfortable and clean, absolutely no complaints. Highly recommend a stay here.

Love the charm and decor of this hotel, as well as the staff. The rooms need some attention and modernization. The floors need attention and the drainage in the tub/shower is really bad. The water filled up a quarter of the tub by the time you finished the shower, the water pressure is good though. The room was nice and spacious. It was nice to have the kitchen, but there are no utensils to use (plates, forks, spoons, knives, napkins and a kitchen drying towel). You can request items, but the housekeeping staff would take it away and you would have to ask again. Mattresses and pillows on the beds need to be replaced as well. If you advertise a queen bed, it shouldn't be double. There is no cable box for the televisions, so only Spanish channels and language are available with no option to change to English for travelers. You can sign in to streaming channels though, so that was good. Some upgrades in the room would greatly help to match the charm and beauty you see in the lobby and ground floor. It you like to gamble; you can enter the casino directly from the hotel.

Las toallas ya está deterioradas y duras en textura, quitaron la vajilla que siempre está disponible ya que es una suite, u este día en el Desayuno estaba muy pobre a pesar de ser bufet te pregunté y me Dijeron que no iban hacer más, creo que son detalle pequeños y que pueden solventar, porque me gusta mucho la ubicación y las habitaciones .

Good size room, nice black out curtains, good water pressure in shower although drain was not working properly and there were not enough towels. Installations and furniture a little dated, wood floor not very clean. Had to ask the front desk to send someone to lock the balcony door bc it couldn´t be locked unless you have a key. Air conditioner did not really work, but it was cool enough. Good location, decent stay. Great food with room service.

Since almost all rooms are interconnected with either one or even two other rooms through thin wooden doors without proper sound isolation you can hear people’s noisy conversations, slamming doors at any hour, making it nearly impossible to relax or even sleep. The windows o. The other hand are extremely well isolated from OUTDOOR noise, but that doesn’t help much considering the idiotic indoor design. It is more of an apart hotel than a conventional hotel and I would very much appreciate sound proof rooms than a lousy kitchenette. The day staff upgraded us to one of the two executive floors, which the less competent evening and night staff didn’t manage to arrange, even though we complained about the noise. Unfortunately the executive floors were just as noisy as the others so the overall experience is that it’s a hotel to avoid if you expect to be able to relax and sleep without being disturbed by other guests.

All the staff is super nice. This place is kinda like my home now. Very spacious room, great view, coffee maker is one of my favorite part. Two balconies in the room can you believe it? And the location is awesome, it's very close to the airport and at the center of Zone 10. Countless options for restaurants and shopping malls. You can even go to a movie if you want. You won't regret for booking this hotel. All the staff is super nice and friendly.

Great value for the price. Big and clean, comfortable. We stayed for 1 night only so we did not get to enjoy the property. The dining was a little over priced. We were told it was going to be $7 for the breakfast buffet but ended up paying $15 per person plus tips which were already included. Overall we spent $33 for breakfast for two, so keep that in mind. The dinner which was $48 for two, also tips were already included. If you choose to eat in the area you will find prices are higher than other areas in the city however you can find cheaper options. Overall we would recommend and would definitely come back.

Very nice spacious suite with comfortable furniture and near restaurants. I do not recommend the breakfast buffet, a few choices to pick from and not very good. There’s a kitchen with one pot and one small skillet but no utensils, no dinnerware and no flatware.
