Es un hotel con historia, en el viejo Mazatlán. Está muy bien ubicado frente al Malecón y a sus alrededores puedes acceder a varios sitios turísticos. Justo a la vuelta hay dos Museos, el de Arte y el de Arqueología. Está la Plazuela Machado, el Teatro, el Observatorio, el MUNBA, etc. Incluye desayuno buffet. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. El personal en todo momento fue muy amable y atento. El único pero, es que para acceder al bar y a la alberca hay que subir escaleras dos pisos, ya que el elevador llega al piso 9 únicamente. El resto, vale la pena totalmente.

Muy centrico, excelente vista al mar y al malecón, buen desayuno, estacionamiento muy chico, instalaciones algo antiguas, el wifi no llegaba adentro de la habitación, control remoto de la tv no funcionaba, tuve que bajar por las toallas porque no las dejaron. el personal es muy amable.

Personal muy amable, el desayuno es tipo buffet y es muy rico. Las habitaciones son amplias y muy limpias. El baño tiene agua caliente y fría. La alberca es pequeña pero es más que suficiente para pasar un rato agradable, el único inconveniente es que se ubica en el último piso y elevador no llega hasta ahí, por lo que limita su accesibilidad, pero de ahí en más todo excelente. La ubicación es muy buena, hay muchos restaurantes y zonas para conocer durante el día y la noche.

The Best Western is a great place to stay. The Art Deco style is a personal favourite and the Pacific ocean is little more than 20 metres from the front door! Friendly and attentive staff and a stunning pool area on the 12th floor giving a 365 degree view of a beautiful city.

This was by FAR the worst hotel stay I have ever had. The room was musty, the windows were so dirty you couldn't see out them, the sink and shower drains didn't drain, the beds were so hard I got bruises on my hips it was like sleeping on concrete. Concierge accused us of touching door glass when we only touched door handle and he was not nice about it. When we showed him that there were no hand prints on the door he waited til we walked away and started accusing us of touching the door again. I had to email the customer service to get problems solved in our room because when front desk was approached about it they told me there was nothing they could do about it.

El alojamiento no me encantó, me que quedado en la misma cadena y este no ha sido de mi agrado, el hotel no es muy limpio ni las habitaciones, el servicio de camarista siempre tenia que pedir toallas porque nunca dejaban. Al final de mi estadia, me chocaron el carro en el estacionamiento; me pidieron dejara las llaves en recepcion por si necesitaban moverlo (tipo valet parcking), obviamente cuando recibi las llaves de nuevo el carro no estaba donde mismo y chocado, pedi una explicacion y se hicieran responsables porque yo no lo habia entregado en esas condiciones, hasta ahorita no lo han hecho. Mala experiencia, no lo recomendaria y tampoco me volveria a quedar en lo personal, ni laboralmente!

A few notes ... first off the Centro area of Mazatlan is not a quiet area. I knew that as I have stayed here multiple times.The staff here is great and very helpful. I had an issue with the key card not working properly because the battery needed to be replaced. The battery was replace the next morning and all was good in the world! WiFi ... since I have stayed here before I knew that the WiFi can be problematic. I had to get WiFi from the living room area instead of the bedroom, no big deal. About 3 years ago they added site blocking to sites you shouldn't be looking at anyway since you in paradise and don't need that stuff. I fully recommend this hotel ... and don't forget to catch the sunset on the roof!

Excelent except WiFi terrible to non existent. Made the business portion of my trip nearly impossible. Had to us a coffee shop down the street. This is a consistent at this hotel and in the future I will try to avoid it

We stayed in a suite with a large patio and sea views, which were amazing. Definitely worth the upgrade to the suite as some of the other rooms are quite small without patios. The suite was huge with a kitchen that we used several times throughout our week long stay as well as a separate dining room and living room (with sofa bed), bedroom area with two beds and two bathrooms. Big windows in all of the rooms that you could open for the breeze or just enjoy the view. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel property was clean and in good repair. Breakfast was included with the room and was open from 7 AM till noon every day. A good variety of hot items with a few small changes each day. Everyday there was some variation of scrambled eggs, a meat dish, Mexican dishes, vegetables, pancakes, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal with coffee and juices. The views were amazing!!! The pool, though a little small, was never too busy and very refreshing and again- the unbeatable 360degree views. Will definitely be back to Mazatlan and will stay in a suite at the Best Western Posada Freeman!!

The location is spectacular. The staff very helpful and friendly. Room was small but nice. Good was good. Breakfast on site was handy. Would have liked a mini fridge for soda etc. No washcloths and skimpy towels. The sewing pool is lovely butt small and 3 get deep. The pool view is a million dollar view! Overall very nice facility.

1. Old smelly hotel. The water drainage in the shower and sinks is absolutely not working. I take fast 5 to 7 minutes showers. By the time I was half way with the shower, it was totally clogged. 2. Nestor and Yvonne of the from desk were extremely rude and homophonic. Every time my boyfriend and I walked by the reception they would giggle, look, stare, and make comments under their tongues. It really made us feel very uncomfortable. They need a gender diversity training as soon as possible. 3. One night we decided to stay in for dinner. We sat down in the restaurant and waited for 20 minutes for the waiter. The waiter did not show up. We walked to the reception and ask for the waiter. They told us they could not find him-her. 4. I will never ever set foot on this property again. I do not recommend it either for members of the LGBT community. There is a lot of hodophobia running around this hotel.

This is a historic (i.e. older) buiding in the Centro Historico right across the street from the malecon and waterfront. The location is great for exploring the surrounding areas, though it\'s loud at night until around MN when it becomes very quiet. The two greatest features of the stay were the heated rooftop pool, which felt like a glorious bathtub with a view, and the amazing buffet breakfast! There was so much variety of Mexican foods, including chilaquiles, several different stews, salsas, fresh fruit, pastries, as well as ham and eggs, pancakes, cereal, and bread for those preferring a more "American" breakfast. We would stay here again for those two features alone!

Good buffet breakfast. Friendly front desk receptionists, waiters and waitress at dinning room. Next to Melecon boardwalk, 10 minitues walk to Mazatlan Cathedral and Mazatland Market. Highly recommended!

La ubicación de ese bonito hotel, te permite disfrutar de los placeres de mazatlán, restaurantes de mariscos con música de banda, excelente vista de los atardeceres desde su alberca, bar e incluso desde el frente de la propiedad y caminando llegas a plaza machado, dónde puedes disfrutar un ambiente ad hoc para una cena romántica o en familia.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel, we were lucky to upgrade to one of the suites with ocean view. It was so helpful to have a complete small kitchen, dining table and two full bathrooms. The staff was great, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, Specially Julio, he was super attentive and courteous, he took care of us during the delicious buffet hours. I cannot remember the name of one of the bellboys, he was also a waitress and cook!! he made us a delicious ceviche. This hotel is the perfect place to stay, we will definitely be returning on our next trip.

A lovely hotel in a beautiful location. We were disappointed in the very poor buffet breakfast quality & didn’t eat there. Although the staff were friendly & many spoke English, when our bathroom flooded into the bedroom twice, the staff responded adequately but had to do the repairs twice!!! We were moved to another room but didn’t receive any other remuneration for our discomfort.
