Estaban en remodelación, muchos albañiles, martillazos, ruido de esmeril y máquinas trabajando, no avisan que están en remodelación, para decidir reservar o no, no estaba disponible la alberca, la regadera no salía agua estaba tapada, pero no son para revisar eso antes de que entre el huésped, la refrigeración tardaba muuuchooooo para helar,

Friendly welcoming staff, nice clean property with updated showers and good Wi-Fi but otherwise pretty standard 'hotel by the beach boardwalk' kind of place. Very very loud music out back almost every night until quite late. It sounds like the radio is on in your bedroom - it's that loud. I got used to it but it's a significant factor that you should consider. I stayed six nights and the music was pretty much a constant from Thursday to Sunday at least. The restaurant food is pretty good and there's a small pool with a small slide that seem to be popular with families. Definitely recommend as a moderate priced option that's safe and very convenient. Lots of great restaurants nearby and literally on the beach! Note - if I were more sensitive to the noise, I would probably rate this 3 stars.

no hay estacionamiento suficiente. En dos ocasiones tuvimos que avisar para que quitaran el carro que nos tapaba la salida y no hicieron nada. Inclusive salí con el carro golpeado del hotel. Hubo 2 ocasiones en que tuvimos que salir en carro de aplicación por no poder sacar el nuestro porque no buscaron al dueño del carro que nos estorbó.

Small parking lot. Our first night we had option to drive to a second parking lot away from hotel or park on the street on the side of the hotel. There really should be on site parking. Also 2 out of 4 days the AC did not work on our floor (5th) they have an old AC system that broke down during some construction. We then had to spend a night in another room because ours was just too hot. The receptionist had very stoic faces. Not friendly at all.

Reserve por 4 noches y solo aguantamos una noche mi familia y yo, nos tuvimos que salir y reservar otro hotel, no estuvimos agusto, esta muy sucio y peligroso La puerta de mi balcon no cerraba y era peligroso para mi niño de un año Olia a pipi, baño y camas sucias Me comunique con hoteles.com lo cual me dijeron que iban a cambiarme de habitacion y no sucedio por eso decidí salirme, me prometieron rembolso y ahora la app me esta avisando que ha sido rechazado No lo recomiendo para nada! Pésimo servicio.

Olas Altas was a great place to stay at. Wonderful customer service. Anything you need was available when requested. The only thing i did not pay attention too was that it had no refrigerator. Besides that its a cozy hotel close to so many places and in front of the beach. I loved that!

Very unhappy with our stay in this Hotel. They failed to notify us it was under construction and our side of the building would be very noisy most of the day. Front desk staff very unproffesional and even rude at times. No food allowed in as they sold food and wanted you to consume theirs. Ended up gettinh a different room after several complaints as the noise was unbearable. Would not recommend

The response always seems to be you can't do that. You can't have a second key, you can't have a SDB in the room, you can't bring in any kind of food or snack whatsoever, etc Particular front desk staff seem very unpleasant and unfriendly.

En general el hotel está bien , el problema está en las chicas de recepción, tratan mal, no resuelven nada, no me facturaron. El restaurante muy bien, la comida tiene buen sabor pero las porciones son demasiado pequeñas (excepto los chilaquiles)

Parking attendant was able to always find an spot for our vehicle (parking lot was small) Convenient location next to the beach and main thoroughfare. Noise is constant at all hours

Friendly welcoming staff, nice clean property with updated showers and good Wi-Fi but otherwise pretty standard 'hotel by the beach boardwalk' kind of place. Very very loud music out back almost every night until quite late. It sounds like the radio is on in your bedroom - it's that loud. I got used to it but it's a significant factor that you should consider. I stayed six nights and the music was pretty much a constant from Thursday to Sunday at least. The restaurant food is pretty good and there's a small pool with a small slide that seem to be popular with families. Definitely recommend as a moderate priced option that's safe and very convenient. Lots of great restaurants nearby and literally on the beach! Note - if I were more sensitive to the noise, I would probably rate this 3 stars.
