Stayed 7 nights

The first room I stayed in had no hot water and the fridge didn’t work. I had to sit in the room for an hour while a staff member tried to get the hot water working. I’m not sure why I had to be there for it but I was told I had to. So after they couldn’t figure it out, I got moved to a different room on the other side of the building. I now had a view of an alley with garbage and had to listen to a band playing very late every night. The service wasn’t great. I didn’t need much but when I did, I had to track someone down to get anything. Maybe because I was a solo traveler, they didn’t see me as potential for lots of tips? There was a few nights where there were big events/celebrations being held which meant the kitchen was closed, no room service and they weren’t serving food to other guests. There was nowhere to hang out at the hotel & I didn’t want to wander the streets alone at night so I sat in my room. Some staff seemed nice but other staff werent very friendly even when I was giving a tip; he took it and walked away without saying anything. And all he did was serve me coffee at the buffet! The gym was big but the equipment was verrrrry old and falling apart. One day while I was in there working out, what I assume was a local fitness instructor was holding a group fitness class so I basically had to spend the rest of my workout in one corner. I chose this hotel because I thought it would be more relaxing and chill but it wasn’t. I left two days early.

Staff was great, location was good, beach was nice. The hotel is older and it shows age, but staff is great, Enrika was great, he always had a smile and remembered us. The beds are comfortable, probly best so far. Rooms are ok, they show age, clean but still need more cleaning. The 2-4-1 is really not 2-4-1 in drinks, other places have actual 2-4-1. The pool is warm, but showing age and tiles missing and broken. Food at the pool was pretty good, snack type food. We are breakfast one day and it was good. Overall we would come back, the price is good and the staff are great.
