The parking was a nightmare. The parking ticket was an in convenience having to do a check in every morning, since our plates were not captured at the entrance. The A/C In the room was not working for one day of our stay.

It's a very unique property that has a couple great bars/dining options, plus room service at reasonable rates, and a casino/sports book on property. Unfortunate that they charge for parking even if you stay with them, but only $1! The TJ country club, (Campestre) is literally walking distance if you golf (I did) and it is fabulous. The pool is another story: small and a lot of children. No umbrellas and just 6 cabanas if you wanna get out of the sun. Not what I expected. there are also many great restaurants close to this location.

Everything was fine; the only issue we had is that every time the elevator arrives at the floor, it makes a sound that can be heard inside the room. One night, around 3:00 a.m., the elevator sounded more than three times, and the next day at 6:00 a.m. it happened again. If it were possible to silence that sound, make it softer, or even change the doors of the rooms, it would make the stay much more pleasant.

They need to check cleaning on the rooms our Room was dusty and the bathroom had lots of hair the curtain on the bathroom was old and dirty with hairs all over the curtain I did told the lobby desk. Hopefully they do supervised the cleaning.

The staff is very friendly. Rooms need some upgrades. I would suggest that will be nice to have a small fridge in the rooms. Even the executive rooms are very basic. But the location is amazing. Walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops.

Hotel is safe but outdated. Old furniture, carpet needs better cleaning, room smelled musty had to open the window to ventilate the room. The sink in the bathroom made it impossible to wash your hands properly has the sink is not well made. I had room #2021 and would not stay there again only because of the sink issue. The rest of the hotel is nice, with stunning views from the pool. Staff was friendly and professional.

Staff was great and check in and check out was smooth. The room ceiling could use some work and there was a noise all night in the corridor, maybe the air filtration or air conditioner. The phone in the room was broken. Had to use cellphone to order room service. But overall it was an average experience. But the staff were great.

The walls are too thin! I was on the 30th floor & could hear the traffic & the music from the nightclub. Also by the elevator which I heard going off all night long with foot traffic. We always get a king bed room & they are always located near the elevators for some odd reason. We dined at the cafe. Half my food was warm & half was cold. ??!! Makes me wonder if the plated it at different times & do t have a warmer. I didn’t complain bc I was hungry but it sucked. Other than that…this is a hotel we stay at every single time we visit TJ because of the security 100%! That’s #1 for us.

Over my last three stays, the Executive rooms on the 31st floor feel noticeably outdated. The rooms are very basic, with small, uncomfortable beds, and lack the level of comfort and refinement you’d expect from an Executive category. What once felt like a higher-end hotel experience now feels closer to a budget motel. It’s especially disappointing because the lobby and pool area remain beautiful and well maintained, creating a stark contrast with the rooms themselves. Unfortunately, the Executive rooms are closer to a 2–3 star experience at best -some newer budget hotels feel more updated. I’ll likely continue staying at Quartz, which is disappointing, as I used to genuinely enjoy staying at the Grand.

We been going to this hotel for years the staff are super nice from the ladies who clean the lobby to the bartender and front desk One problem every time we order room service for breakfast There’s always missing something on my order or coffee cold and tortillas cold The last 6 Times I been at the hotel is been the same problem on the Room Service Someone needs to fix the Problem I didn’t want to write this , but today I had it is been to many times with my room service order besides that everything else is good

I have many years staying at this property. I left a a very important personal item in my room. I did not notice til I arrived home. I called several times to ask for my item and to follow up. The staff said I would get a call back and I never did. They said they would look into my lost item and they never did. They said I will call you for information, so I did not have to call back. Very unprofessional service.

We always stay at this hotel because is easy, convenient and closed to the border ,costumer service is usually great, we had few incidents on this trip tho, housekeeping just walk into our room because she assumed we had checked out even though we had one more night to go, at night we receive a call asking what time we were checking out because they were conducting a survey something they could do when you check in or check out , no need to call at night to figure that out. I love this hotel is usually my first choice when in TJ but they do need more communication when it comes to walking into a room without notice because they just think nobody is there.

Room servise too slow. I had to ask for toilet paper and that took over two phone calls and three hours to get the servise. For ice, l had to request it over two times and waited for about 4 hours to get it. The swimming Pool is clean.

Had a wonderful evening at the Wine without Borders event and stay the night at the Grand Hotel In Tijuana. So glad we planned to stay there. First time experience, great location, wonderful the next day and couldn’t have asked for anything more. Great experience and will be back!

Booked room with free breakfast included. At the hotel, they have a breakfast buffet but we were informed we would receive a continental breakfast located in the louge area consisting of 2 small pastries, one serving of yogurt / fruit and coffee. Expedia and the Hotel need to specify what kind of breakfast is included with the booking. If would be nice to know this ahead of time when booking.

Room was excellent. My advice is to dine at the lobby restaurant called Emma. The salad the maitra D recommended was amazing. I also got French Onion soup. It was the best I have ever had. The lobby bar was too much fun also. Great stay while getting my dentistry done!

Yes the bar was great Yes the staff was exceptional the breakfast didn't have traditional American breakfast like eggs bacon, sausage waffles toast or bagels but the coffee was excellent and the tacos were good.

I loved everything about the hotel. But the staff was little rude, especially the server that was working in the area of the pool. He ignored me the 3 days I was in the pool he even told me to order from my room, my last day I asked him again if i could order something and he ask another server to take my order, he's horrible. Other than that, everyone else were super nice the food is amazing my stay was ok just that little detail about the server.
