The breakfast was good, the room was good but the 2 staff that were working prior to 16:00 and right after were definitely not people persons. Also, warm up your pool, we couldn’t even go swimming because it was so cold and that was one of the reasons I booked there

The lobby area was very welcoming, room was clean and spacious. Pool was a good size and breakfasts were filling with hot food options freshly made. The dryer in the laundry didn't work well, but otherwise it was a comfortable place to stay and rest for a couple of days.

One of the best experiences: big rooms, nice breakfast, and an EV charger.

Love this hotel. I have stayed here a few times. Recently renovated, large rooms, kids of parking, great green space for dogs. Staff was great

This is a great hotel when you’re on the road. Very clean, staff were awesome, and the beds were comfy. My one suggestion is to get a gym… but I will be back.

Clean hotel but the pool was under maintenance.

Toilet did not flush and we had to change rooms. Night clerk knew very little about ev charging ports. Pool area was being repaired -- nothing stated when I made reservation.

We thought there would be a mountain view due to the name and area however mostly industrial and most rooms including ours lookout to the parking lot. The beds were not comfortable pillows were big and hard , there was no gym , the breakfast was not very good. The staff was not friendly seemed annoyed to have to do the regular duties like check in, they seemed to not have enough staff to run the hotel. It is in the middle of nowhere however we stayed there to be near Yoho and there are not alot of options. I would not stay here again due to the price too high for what you get.

There was a used bandaid on the floor and a wrapper for something and some crumbs in our room. It was gross.

The bathroom curtains are so dirty. Looks like there is blood on it.

Our room had been a smoking room and there was still a very bad smell of smoke still in the room.

Hotel is very clean and family friendly.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean, great breakfast options.pool is nice. Staff were great and accommodating. We had a pet friendly room and always nice to have this option, however the room reeked of pet urine and a very fragrant deodorizer was sprayed to cover the smell, it didn't cover it. No other rooms available so our pet fee was waived.

Reasonably nice motel, but hard to find if you don't have GPS. Ricky's next door has great food, but slow service. My room had an A/C unit that made a fairly loud squeaking noise and the fridge made a strange noise for a while each time the compressor shut off, so I had to wear ear plugs. There was a loud party next door to me until after midnight. The TV remote control was utterly incomprehensible. Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable, but the pillows were all way too thick, so I used a towel folded over for a pillow. Overall poor value for the money.

Beds were super comfortable and lots of room as we had a room that slept 5 adults.

Excellent breakfast, had to switch rooms, first one reeked of smoke, second one was much better, but my husband still thought it smelled funny. Bed sunk in the middle, not very firm.

Great stay!! There are no AC units in all the rooms so if you are staying during a crazy heatwave, make sure to check and book the room with the AC with higher price. Other than that the stay was perfect and so close to the attractions.

We stayed 1 night and found the staff friendly and helpful, the room was spacious, clean and well equipped, continental breakfast was well presented and even had a hot option as well as the usual continental offerings. Coffee and Cookies were available to help yourself in reception. Parking was easy and just outside the front door. If you don't like fast food, there are limited dining options in the immediate area. Good for a one night stay.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on the way to BC and coming back and overall nice, clean and friendly staff . . BUT rooms are not sound proof at all!! You can literally hear people stomping upstairs and in beside rooms, talking and doors opening and closing. I had to wear ear plugs and turn on a fan app on my phone and still constantly got woken up all night long

Beautiful place! We had a room with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch and it was big and roomy! Breakfast was great also!

The property has new carpeting throughout and the room we stayed in has been refreshed some. The room when we walked in was extremely warm, 80 degrees 26 C. It took hours for the extremely loud ac to cool the room. The shower had a continuos drip. When we showered we learned the water did not drain and it took at least 20 minutes after the shower for all the water to drain.

Staff were excellent, breakfast was very good. Condition of the room was awful, chair in the room was terribly stained, carpet was dirty, and lighting in the bathroom was worst ever, very disappointing for a Best Western brand hotel.

Room was generally clean and spacious. Pet friendly (including a large dog-park area in the rear) was a plus (subject of course to a daily pet fee). Staff were overall friendly... however, there is a STRANGE policy written on a whiteboard by the breakfast area that breakfast food is FOR DINE IN only; i.e. you cannot take eat your breakfast in your room (WHY? never in many many hotel stays have we encountered this policy - and it was not anything we agreed to!) Additionally, a staff member harassed us about this policy at breakfast time on two of the four days we stayed - NOT A PLEASANT WAY TO START the day. We understand if the objective was not to have dishes and utensils end up in the rooms but we did not bring dishes or utensils from the breakfast to our room. Will not stay in this hotel next time because of this. Breakfast fare was standard (scrambled eggs, alternating bacon or sausage, potatoes and refried beans... DIY waffles, dry cereal, yogurt etc.) Two other minor issues - bathroom sink had a slow drain (maintenance may be lagging) and entrance to room had a very light tinge of old cigarette smell as you walk in...

Check-in was frustrating. The lady checking me in was more concerned with another lady that showed up (manager/owner ?) vs checking me in. She was very rude. Breakfast was basic. There was a used face cloth hanging on the shower rod that fell on top of me when I got into the shower, and there was a dirty handprint on the bathroom wall. Unfortunate because the room itself was nice. Gas/restaurants close by. Right off of Highway

When I was checking in that staff member was amazing and I was so pleased. Went down hill from there: The facility had a pool however there was a sign posted that the water was low temperate and we could not use it. In the morning when we went to eat breakfast the front desk clerk rudely told us that it was dine in only. I told the staff that we had a dog and he said not his problem. I asked if we could leave the dog alone in the room and he said no that is against the pet policy that I signed at check in. I asked could we then bring our dog to eat our included breakfast he said no. After a bit of back and forth he said only 1 person could take thier food back to the room. We were a group of 4 so one person had to eat alone in the room. I can understand that maybe some people take lots of food and maybe pack it for later. I even offered for him to see our plates and there wouldn’t be extra food taken.He kept saying because it was a hot breakfast we can’t take to our room. I had stayed at a best western 4 days before this trip and they had a much better hot breakfast and there was no rule of eating dine in only. Like I said I can understand the need for the rule but there was no need to be rude and if you are a pet friendly hotel you should have some ways around dine in only. Making family members eat breakfast seperate from each other and 1 person eating in the room alone is bad especially since it’s the start of a new year.

Our bathtub kept clogging and after multiple attempts from front desk, they never sent anybody for fixing it. Thankfully we only stayed for 1 night other it would not have been even worse. No phone number to call front desk so I always had to go downstairs to ask for help which I never got. Other than everything was good. Thanks

Reception was excellent on my late checkin

This was the best Best Western I have ever stayed in. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The manager stopped by at breakfast talking with guests about their days plan and offering littler bits of information about the area and how to get around.

Upon arrival we were not greeted but welcomed with a bitter and stressed out person (Not very friendly and welcoming!) After a very long drive the last thing you wanna encounter is someone that don't smile or someone misserable.

Right off the highway for easy access. One of the better free hotel breakfasts we have had.

The location was difficult to find. The sign was obvious but the building was a block over, behind another business.

We choose this hotel because it was central with all the national parks around. We stayed there for 7 days and it was very nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was super clean. The included breakfast was really good, we ate there every morning before hitting the road, they served eggs, sausages, bacon, waffles, muffins, cookies, pastry. The sauna and the pool were welcome too after a day hike. I’ll stay there again despite the area which was a industrial and almost empty. Golden seems to be a town where people stop for gas or eat but not really enjoyable to walk around. We had a nice diner at the Wolf’s Den though. I’ll recommend it.

It was difficult to find the hotel. Better signage on the highway would have been helpful. Thankfully we had GPS!

We booked two side by side rooms, both large and clean with very comfortable beds. They rooms were surprisingly very quiet for hotel rooms. Check-in and check-out was quick and efficient. The pool area was also very nice and clean. The free full breakfast buffet was excellent. Eggs, sausages, potatoes, beans, as well as the usual hotel fare of waffles, muffins, fruits etc. was available. Will definitely book there again and recommend this hotel to travellers.

The breakfast time needs to be extended to 10 am, as this is generally the expected time . Promptly at 9:30, the food was quickly removed, leaving some guests feeling very rushed.

Most of property run down. Looks like some remodeling is underway. Bathrooms seemed to be updated but rest of room and facilities run down. Breakfast was poor.

Good spot to stop driving through the mountains. The room smelt a bit funky. The breakfast buffet was out of half of the food and it took a while to be refilled. The potatoes weren't cooked. Not many options for plant-based people.
