Room was tired looking. Shade on a lamp was broken. Bathroom had mould on the tiled enclosure. Bed chesterfield left barely enough room to get to the room door in an emergency in the dark. For the price I was very disappointed.

It was a shame we did not have the option of swapping a room upgrade for breakfast as this would have been more suitable for our stay. The room was not clean enough for the standard expected of radison. Hair on the bathroom floor and in the bath, floor had not been vacuumed. Tired decor. Disappointing given the cost per night.

The carpet was soaked in front of the bathroom due to what we believe was a leak in the bath tub. The door frame was moldy, so this leak was not new and my kids stepped on the carpet in their socks, and the socks were gross...we threw them away.

The corner penthouse suite option is not as premium as I would expect from the name, do not book this room option if you're thinking should be the best option. It's an oddly shaped room sandwiched between elevators, with the bathroom attached to the bedroom, and a view of the parking lot, not premium at all. There's apparently only two rooms of this type. We asked to move due to the noise and were taken to the room directly above, which is identical, but accessed from a secondary elevator or stairs as the 12th floor is oddly partitioned from the rest of the hotel, but it had broken AC and a room temp of 27. Our third room was much nicer, it was just unfortunate that it wasn't our first room and experience. Overall the hotel is alright, showing its age a bit, but was clean and the staff were friendly.

The man at the front desk was very rude. Even after check in I called and he said he couldn’t understand me and hung up. I spoke normally I’ve never encountered this problem. I ordered out skip the dishes and he didn’t even notify me that the food was delivered, I went down to get my food and he was all upset. Dude is high drama ruined what could have been a nice stsy

Traveled a long day to get to Hotel. On arrival around 1:00pm was informed that an early check in was available but it had an additional fee of $50.00. Found this insulting because the room was obviously ready and no extra effort would be needed to let us in the room, and the room cost was approximately 500.00 per night! This a an OK hotel but definitely not what I expected at 500.00 per night - the least they could do is let you in the room early if it is available. So we checked our bags and went out. Came back at 5:00pm and got in room with no extra charge. This turned a potentially nice experience into one that feels like we were being ripped off.

After 30 hours of exhausting travel from Jakarta, I managed to locate the Radisson Vancouver airport shuttle parked inconveniently one level up from arrivals at the departures level. There was no driver, though the door was wide open. Following hotel instructions I located a telephone outside and called the hotel. The front desk advised me to wait for the driver. I waited 5 minutes in the cold only to have the driver reject me as a passenger in favour of an airline crew that was nowhere in sight. Advised to wait another 15-20 minutes for a different shuttle, I ordered an uber instead which required going back downstairs and outside again. Finally arriving at the hotel exhausted and upset, I requested a refund for the $25 Uber. The only bright spot in the debacle was the reception desk agreeing to refund immediately. Not a smooth process to say the least.

Experience wasn’t really good, I wait for 40min for the room service to bring me the toothbrush. Also I check in at 1am midnight leave at 12 they charge me for all day parking (they didn’t mention anything about parking fee on Web I thought it’s free). And they don’t let the delivery people go upstairs to the door, they stop the driver at front desk and hold the food. But they don’t bring the food to you, you have to go pick up yourself! That’s terrible!

The location is excellent, short shuttle trip to airport that runs all the time on 30 minute interval so you can easily make an early morning flight. Walking distance from hotel are many restaurants and shopping, not your traditional airport hotel! Rooms were spacious and very comfortable.

Liked: The hotel had a free shuttle to and from the airport. The hotel was a block from a rail transit line to downtown. The room had a great view of the Fraser River. The suite was quite spacious. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The area had a variety of Asian cuisine. Other: The hotel was undergoing some elevator repair issues The restaurant only had a buffet for breakfast. They should offer a continental version for a lower price. This was a Saturday.

The restaurant is excellent. Love the lasagna, pizza..... the bar is relaxing and comfortable. Super service. The entire hotel staff is exceptional! The last several times we stayed Komal went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and greeted us by name. Ken is friendly and always on time with the shuttle.

You can walk to almost everything. There is a Yaohan center located right behind the hotel, and a unique food court is situated on the 2nd floor of the building next door. I had the best scrambled egg sandwich there. Across the street is the Aberdeen Center, and there are many restaurants nearby. I would stay here again next time I am in Richmond.

Right across the street from the Aberdeen Central shopping mall. Great location for families. The top floor of the Aberdeen mall has a food court where I would highly recommend for sampling different types of food from different countries. Very safe where the hotel is located no homeless people anywhere to be seen. There’s a grocery shop store on the corner. The Aberdeen train stop is two minute walk from hotel which can take you directly to the waterfront if you’re going on a cruise. it’s about $3.25 per person one way easy to transport overseas luggage going on the train when you get out on the waterfront, it’s a five minute walk to the cruise ship. You can save money staying at this hotel versus right on the waterfront cruise terminal.

My husband and I really like staying at this hotel when we come to Vancouver to visit family. It's close to the airport and is right across the street from the SkyTrain station to get to where we need to go. Unfortunately this time, we got a room facing the SkyTrain tracks and everytime the train went by, it was very noisy. However, the view was nice from the 7th floor. The room itself was very good and we were very happy with it. Very spacious and had everything we needed. The hotel is going under renovations and we were told by staff that there will be sound-proofing installed in every room in the future. We would recommend staying here, but ask for a room on the other side away from the tracks if you want quiet.
