The counter staff were very helpful woth a request for our return trip. The towel supply at the pool could be better.

Nice place, minimal noise from other rooms, hot tub could be hotter with stronger jets and more hot breakfast options

I will always recommend a hotel based on how accommodating they were to me I needed an early check in and they accommodated my situation I will say I would have paid extra just to have the ability to have an early check in My room was clean the pillows are perfect bed was comfy and I just love that they provide shampoo conditioner and body wash The pool did look dirty to me like the walls of the pool and the soaker pool was not working and they removed that bench in the front. But overall it was a great stay I come at least once a year for a home visit.

We had an okay stay. If you can overlook stained carpets, a gym with no fan or a/c (and very limited equipment), a free breakfast that is all carbs (cereal, breads, pancakes, and fruit - except the hardboiled eggs), broken ice machine on our floor, hot tub not in service, etc., etc., then this place is fine. The staff were all very nice and the guest laundry was convenient. We enjoyed our dinner at the Keg across the street, and it was nice having a Tim Horton's in the same parking lot. Paying over $250 a night for a mediocre hotel room doesn't sit well with me, but it seems that hotels in Thunder Bay are generally quite expensive.

Hotel hallways and elevator carpet were very dirty and stained. The pool area along with pool and hot tub were very dirty and stained .

We booked the hotel for the hot tub and pool unfortunately the hot tub was cold and broken, no signs or anything posted, only 2 jets worked at the ankles area, the pool was ok I guess warmer then the hot tub but either way I needed to shower. When I asked the staff they had already known of the issue and didn’t know when it was going to be fixed. The room was clean though

Property was showing age. Beds were clean, which is most important but the carpets were very old and stained throughout the entire hotel. Hot tub was not working and pool was extremely cold. Fitness center was very old with minimal functional equipment.

Some disrepair, elevator out of order. Breakfast had very frw options and not a protein that i could see.

It’s tough to find a nice hotel in Thunder Bay, especially when there aren’t a lot of options. We stayed in a couple different hotels in the last month there and this was one of the nicer ones. The breakfast was nice, the pool was nice. The beds were comfortable. The staff was awesome. Lots of food options. In a nicer area of town. Would stay here again.

All the carpet in this hotel needs to be ripped up and replaced. There were stains everywhere on the carpet and the tile at the main entrance looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a month. While the staff was courteous this hotel needs some deep cleaning and updates.

Room elevator breakfast room all dirty Have stayed there for years never again

Dark wine stains all over the carpet. No housekeeping service during our entire stay. We had to seek them out just to get fresh towels.

Our first room was very dirty with hair in the bed and bathtub. The gentleman at the front desk was very apologetic and gave us a new room. It was not conjoining as thats what we asked for but he said it was the best he could do. The carpet in the new room was full of stains but cleaner than the last. The staff are great and extremely nice.

Hallways and elevator floor were dirty. There was a “ smelly diaper “ smell for 2 days in the trash can by the 3rd floor elevator. My husband had a 3 inch scratch on his leg from the metal bed frame that poked out of the mattress. I informed the desk, showed them pictures. They did not fix it however they did give us a 5% discount on the room.

I found a cockroach in my room and i was double charged on my acct for my stay. I still havent been refunded.

The carpet in the room had several filthy spots. The fact that these had not been cleaned up created lack of confidence or comfort with the rest of the facility.

Carpet was filthy. Two used towels hanging on bathroom door from previous guests. No shampoo. No pillows for hide-a-bed. phone by bed didn't work. One hanger in closet space. Bed uncomfortable needs new mattress. Carpet in elevator grossly dirty. We like staying here because of location but this is last time for us.

I had to wash someone else’s tooth paste splatter off the bathroom counter, every bed sheet was stained, mattress was ripped with holes.

Everything went well at check-in,friendly helpful staff. Easy to find off highway. Close to coffee shop and dining options. Large room. Suited our needs for the night. Microwave would have been helpful.

King beds do not have fitted sheets. Just top sheet used as fitted sheet. Old dirty carpet. Wifi issues entire stay. Would not connect at all despite strong signal. Water tasted bad.

THE ONLY COMMENT I HAVE IS THAT THERE WAS NO MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM I HAD. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FABULOUS, BUT THE MICROWAVE WOULD HAVE HELPED WITH CUTTING DOWN ON TAKE OUT MEALS. OTHER THAN THAT, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE DAYS INN TO ANYONE!

Ok stay, no microwaves in room, staff on cell phone at front desk ignoring customers. Comfy bed and nice showers. Good water pressure

The carpet was stained, the TV was small, the toilet was small, the ac/heater was loud. Not worth the money

Very disappointing that the wifi did n9t work. Staf tried to help by lett8ng guests lot into the ataff wifi but once back in the room it disappeared again

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed in room 318 which was comfortable and clean, but a musty or mildewy smell was in the room which either came from the air conditioner or carpet.

Close to services. First room noisy heater fan. Changed rooms. Second room had to price the drain plug up to get the tub to drain. Place needs some up grading .

Shopping area was excellent,and I felt very safe in and around the facility.I would recommend this motel to everyone.Close to popular eating areas.Thomas and all of the staff were extremely pleasant and very attentive to our every need.

Hotel overall feels safe but late night staff were no help when needed and everything is broken! Water cooler/vending machines then when you can find a working one it charges you 6 dollars per water! all in all not worth the money! there are wayyyy better alternatives in thunderbay!

Staff are very pleasant. Very clean & quiet!

I had to wait 5-7 minutes after I walked in for check-in, the customer service rep at the front was on phone. He saw me walk in, did not even bother to say hi or give me a moment, he was on phone the entire time. A couple eye-contacts happened but still no greeting, incredibly rude. He also proceeded to give me room keys while being on phone, this was honestly the most terrible experience I have had ever at any hotel. We checked in pretty late, so slept in the bed only to find out the next morning the sheets had blood on them. I noticed when I woke up in the morning and got out of bed immediately and checked out. I also took pictures. I will never be coming back.

Check in listed as 3 pm. Showed up at 4:45pm, no room available. Was told 5 minutes for an answer. 20 minutes later I was still in the lobby waiting, staff was socializing and not very concerned with our room. I inquired again about the status of our room to which I was told they weren’t sure, as they were waiting on housekeeping to find a clean room. We couldn’t shower, but left for dinner and I eventually checked into my room at 7pm. No soap or shampoo in the dispensers when I went to shower. Not the greatest experience. Rooms were otherwise decent, and location is good. Maybe just a bad day…

Great location Tim hortons montanas and the keg within walking distance

The property is a bit far from the city center. If you do not have a car, it can be difficult to navigate. Taxi services are not super reliable. I was waiting for a taxi to take me to the airport, normally a 10 minute drive away and I was waiting for 30 minutes. I liked that the property offered a continental breakfast (pancakes, bagels/toast, oatmeal, cereal, fruits, boiled eggs, yogurt) from 5am to 10am. If that doesnt float your boat then you have Tim Hortons across the parking lot. Montana's is also there for convenience. Confederation College is close by and Lakehead University is about a 10-15 minute walk down the street. Be careful of the walking directions because Google might have you walking on an expressway which has no side walks! One thing I didn't like is that even though you book your room at a certaij price, apparently the price changes EACH DAY. So beware. You might think you are getting a deal at $100 per night but that is ONLY the first night, the following night may go up or down. In my case the price went up significantly. The room was relatively clean- one bed had some unidentifiable spots and some hair on it but thankfully, there was another bed that was clean. I would rate this property over all a 3.5/5. More transparency on the price would be appreciated.

Convenient location and clean.

This hotel is very convenient for travellers passing through on Highway 17/11. Quiet location with restaurants and fuel very close by. We always stay here when passing through.

Room, bathroom and hot tub were very clean. Parking was great with many spaces available. Area was nice and quiet with restaurants very close.

The hotel is so close to the college, movie theater, restaurants. Very convenient!

For being in the middle of Thunder Bay it didnt feel like it. The location made it easy to get around to were i needed to.

The breakfast was terrible.

Good stay overall, just wish there were more food options on the included breakfast menu (a bit surprised they didn’t have scrambled eggs)

The pool and hot tub were great. The jets in the hot tub weren't working, but the temperature was perfect. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were disappointed by the breakfast - would have appreciated some protein like hot eggs, bacon or sausage. The room was nice and everything was clean. Lots of parking available.

Restaurants within easy walk. Breakfast was disappointing.Only hard boiled eggs and pancakes. No other choice for eggs and no bacon or sausage.

Only one big problem the breakfast is the worst. The eggs are cold and watery could not eat them even after heating them up in the microwave still watery. The milk for the cereal was room temperature warm. The sausage is poor quality. Coffee is also awful. Ended up having orange juice and a hard boiled egg and that had some age on it. If you can’t do better than this don’t offer it

The breakfast was very good. Loved that in the same parking lot were a tim Hortons and Montana's. Short drive to Lakehead university, hospital and shopping.
