Was good for the price. Room was clean, hot shower, ok beds (getting a bit droopy in the middle) This property is really in need of some renovations. From the security card readers not working or falling off the wall to smelly hallways that looked so drab. It needs some help. Around the exterior doors was a blanket of cigarette buts and bottle caps that never got cleaned up the four days were there. The lobby is dated but gorgeous by comparison. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise as I don't think the listing said that. Like every property we stayed at not pool or hot tub...whats up with that??

The room was mostly clean adjacent except for the dirty coffee maker and someone's leftover takeout left in the fridge. Also pool looks permanently closed. There was no breakfast. There was no shuttle to the airport. The toilet was clogged when I arrived. When I looked at the pool area I could see filthy old cooking dishes in the kitchen with bacon remnants which I found odd as as mentioned breakfast was not available as advertised. The staff when available was attentive.

Pot holes in the parking lot large enough to damage a vehicle. Whole building needs a complete overhaul/update. Windows especially should be replaced and yes I realize the cost. Stayed here (Airlane) many years ago in it's Glory Days and it has fallen a long ways. Lobby looks great and a decent breakfast but rooms require updates! Not good value at $200 per night.

There is no airport shuttle service. That is an issue and taxi's are $15 to go a couple of blocks. I ended up using the Valhalla service from the airport and walked to the airport when departing. No shuttle service will impact my choice to stay at this facility.....but breakfast was good!

The check-in staff was very friendly and did his best to accommodate our reservation. We had a very spacious suite. You can tell the hotel was once very nice but is now very run down. Pool was not open, and we were there 4 days and did not receive any cleaning services, garbage collection, or clean towels.

Air conditioning was not working, many people loitering around hotel, people yelling in parking lot all night, we left the hotel at 2:30 AM. We booked online which was very deceiving as to condition of hotel, pool had a sign that said it was condemned by the board of health. Booked hotel because of the Wyndham name but have lost faith.

Hotel is dated and dirty. Room was gross, if I hadn’t been on the road for 11 hrs I would not have stayed. Bed was like an army cot. Bathroom was not clean, stained, and the shampoo bottle had hair hanging off it.

The room was very dirty and was missing toilet paper and shampoo. The shower had black mold all over it and the curtain and bed sheets were dirty and stained as well as some areas on the walls.. Plus the room had a heavy odor. Lobby is nice which is deceiving considering the room didn’t look like house keeping had been by. The front desk service was good and there was packing near the building. Overall I would not ever recommend this place at all is was TERRIBLE and expensive but the people were nice I must mention. I do not believe getting an other room would have changed this experience.

Lots of black mildew embedded in tile grout, tiny ants, hair (not ours) on bed and in bathroom, carpet deeply soiled, drapes dirty and locked together so they couldn’t be opened but they also had holes in them, only one light in room worked, wallpaper soiled (and discolored from where an old wall mount light fixture was removed), safe was broken and useless, direct entry door from parking lot and another from interior hallway decreased security, exterior perimeter had lots of blind spots (potential safety issue), smoking ban not enforced so we breathed other people’s smoke all night, no USB ports. Checking in was quick. The room was terrible it smelled musty the curtains had rips in them We have one bath towel, no soap and when I found someone they said they would see what they could do to get us more towels. More towels and soap was delivered. The bathroom condition is old and disgusting the tub had huge chunks out of it and rust on the tiles. We felt dirty the entire time we stayed one night only thank goodness. The parking lots was dirty and our door looked like someone tried to break in chunks missing. I will never stay at a Ramada property again

The entire facility is stuck in the 1970's. There were holes in the doors, broken electrical sockets, filthy hallways, horribly filthy room carpets and i really did not appreciate having to take a shower only to find someone else's pubic hair all over the shower walls. This place needs a total revamp or just razed to the ground.

The staff was very friendly and the room was gigantic. Beds were comfortable. However, the property itself needs a lot of upgrades and is dirty. The hotel is huge and I feel like they started to upgrade and maybe ran out of money? Breakfast was good. I imagined the glory days of banquets.

1st room no AC Got moved to a second room, had a AC unit but the cord wasn’t long enough to be able to be plugged in. Got moved to a 3rd room, antique AC that sounds like an air plane and keeps cutting out.

Hotel generally is dated and in need of upgrading(there was no handle on one of the exterior doors!) room was okay and the bed was good, room accessories were a little dates, remote barely worked, channel selection was very basic. Hot breakfast, scrabbled eggs, bacon, mini waffles, sliced potatoes/onions, good coffee, but only white bread. Entrance and breakfast areas were cold and dated. Lots of parking and multiple entrance to access rooms, with most lower level rooms have direct outdoor access.

Expedia should be embarrassed offering this property. The room had no air conditioning, The wear and tear on the property is wide spread from the rooms, to the main entrance to the dining area, the doors, windows. They hadn’t attempted to clean anything outside for a long time making one question the cleanliness of the room. We brought our own pillows thankfully.

We booked one King bedroom but when we came we got 2 queen bed room in upstairs. The curtains in the room was dirty and the AC was not working at all. We called housekeeping they came and took away the curtains but Maintenance said AC is centralized and it works only like that. We asked another room at first they said its not available but we went down to the main reception where we met an old staff, he right away allotted us a king bedroom suit in the main floor with all amenities. We were so thankful to him.

I would give zero stars if it’s possible.. we stayed here for two nights No room service eventhough we asked for and no new towels. Upon asking for towels reception said they ran out of towels and have none to give us. I would request 50% refund on our payment for these terrible service we received.

When checking into the hotel, we were informed that our room was on the second floor. This made it difficult for my wife has mobility issues and the hotel has no elevator. The staff were able to accommodate us by finding a room on the main floor.

Had to wait over 10 minutes for a staff to show up, but rest of check in was good. The towels in the bathroom were not neatly arranged and therefore not sure if they were used and also missing a second facecloth. Ice machines were not working, but when I went to the desk to find out if there was one working, the gentleman at the desk took my ice bucket (that didn't have a bag liner) and got some from the kitchen

During a long road trip, I stayed at the Ramada by Wyndham Thunder Bay. The room was fantastic, and the bed was especially comfortable, giving me a perfect night's sleep. I was refreshed and ready to continue my journey the next day. I couldn't thank the hotel staff enough for their friendly service. It was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it! The breakfast was also very nice and cozy. Overall, it was a great experience. Thank you!

Each time I stayed, it’s been a good stay except for the noisy neighbours. The staff at the front desk, especially the manager I believe, has been amazing. Very helpful, kind, friendly and quick.

Staff were nice, but the beds were uncomfortable and squeaky, the washroom was poorly stocked, and the area felt unsafe. I even witnessed a car break-in and robbery near my vehicle, which made my family leave early. Not recommended for families or anyone concerned about safety.

Fantastic bed and good tv. Internet was also good. It was hotin the room and i opened the window. My window did not have a screen in it. I was woken in the morning by someone yelling for some guy, then they opened my curtain from outside and looled in. The room was on situated on the back of the hotel where the parking looked sketchy so i parked in the front. I would stay here again due to the bed

The room needs the bathroom fan repaired! The rug smells terrible because of the old type of cleaning detergent they’re using. Breakfast didn’t have sausages as I’m not able to eat bacon, as it is too hard on my dentures

Lobby was clean and still awe inspiring. Room was ok, but shower curtain smelled stale which was the first thing you smelt. Oddly, only one garbage can in the room, small one in the bathroom. I went down for breakfast at 9:30 (breakfast over at10). No muffins left, was one empty warmer, eggs looked old and were salty. I believe third one had sausages. One staff member commented as I was getting my tea about not refilling because of the time. There were only 2 half slices of white bread in the bin. Gentleman behind me just walked out after looking. I left at 9:45 and that’s when they brought out more bread. My eggs were tossed out. Very disappointing.

The breakfast was cold and it didn’t appear to be cooked properly. The room appeared clean until you looked closer. The beds have seen better days. There was no hot water for morning showers. The front desk staff were not very welcoming. Would not stay here again!

Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Lighting was good. Television was good. The bathroom was terrible and the tiles were discussing with black mold and soap scum. It could use a little TLC and some CLR cleaner with some elbow grease to clean it up. Property quality control is not up to standard. The property could use some improvement.
