There is NO pool, it’s been abandoned and it looks like it has not been operational in years. Missing outlet plates in the room & AC didn’t cool the room adequately. Paneling in the ‘closet’ pulling apart from the wall. Take the stairs, the elevator seems to have some issues. Large trash cans and a shopping cart were lining the outside of the building.

Pool needs attention. Painted “liner” was bubbling & peeling off. Had to ask for pool towels on both visits to pool. Key card malfunctioned & had to go get new card twice during our 3 night stay. Front desk staff was very helpful in getting items attended to

Only one ice machine is working. The outdoor pool was filled and clean looking but was not open to the guests. Isn't that part of our price for staying there? I stayed July 11th thru 13th and the cartons of milk were dated to expire July 10th. There was No milk available on Sunday. What ever they use for bacon was nasty.

I loved my room with a king bed and a bathtub for soaking after a long day out sightseeing. There was a few things in the room that needed to be fixed when I checked in such as a loose faucet in the sink and a very loose toilet seat. I tightened those up instead of bothering the hotel as it was a simple fix. It should have been taken care of before I checked into the room. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the whole weekend with very high temperatures all 3 days that I was there. As mentioned in other reviews, there was a pile of trash bags that were dumped outside the back door. It would be nice if they would have trash cans to put the trash in as that would be more sanitary. The staff was very polite and went out of their way to make it a very good stay.

Great hotel overall for the money. Safe and quiet despite the major highway running through the backyard. Dining options close by and staff were nice. The beds weren’t the most comfortable but not terrible. The room is a bit small and the shower wasn’t refreshed like the rest of the room, but the TV was large and new. The breakfast selection was decent. The pool and ice machine on our floor was not working, but I would stay here again as these things were just temporary Im sure.

Room was considerably damp, even with the AC set at 65, getting into bed the bedding felt damp as well. Lamp shades had what looked like mold on them, the bathroom wall was deteriorating and appeared to have been caused by water damage.

Was not at all impressed of the dirty room as well as the dated tub. Mold was present.Dead roaches were just laying in corners of the room. I guess cleaniness is not a priority here. Maybe they spray for bugs but forget to clean up... The worst part was I paid nearly double for the room as the auto show was taking place that weekend.Will never stay here again. Time to update if they expect to get these prices...

I checked in, took all my bags to my room. IMMEDIATELY I noticed the room smelled awful, I looked past it and moved on. I then noticed the tub had grey sludge in it around the drain??? Once again....moved on. Finally I noticed my one night Stand was completely broken and replaced with a foot rest? At this point I called the front desk politely explaining the situation and requesting a new room..my room was changed to a room where the only improvement was I had two nightstands . The room still smelled awful and the shower was stained brown INCLUDING stains on the shower curtain. In addition to being wildly uncomfortable my entire stay given the condition of both rooms give ...my key stopped working half way through my trip so I had to walk through the rain to the front desk and get a replacement.

I rented 4 rooms and at 2am woke up to bed bugs biting my daughter and the other room my brother had same issue definitely was a nightmare of a night trying to figure out where to go in the middle of the night definitely would not recommend this place

The staff was professional and friendly at check in. The bathroom has mold spots on the walls and ceiling. Certain areas in the common area have bug splatter on the walls. I loved that the mattress was encased! That’s huge considering the easy spread of bugs when mattresses do not receive preventative measures. Although, it was not the most comfortable mattress to sleep on. The shampoo and conditioner were crappy and cheap. The body soap left our skin feeling really dry and sticky. I would highly suggest an upgrade. The room smelled great and was clean when we arrived. WiFi and tv worked. No issues with keycards. Cleanliness of the entrance to the hotel itself was clean and look good as well. But the rooms definitely needs some extra attention and additional renovations/ upgrades

Staff was great. Room was a good size. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was good. Area around hotel somewhat noisy due to the roadway, but not detrimental to the stay at all. Wish it was nicer weather so I could have checked out the pool! Only recommendation wish I could have streamed from my phone to the TV! Enjoyed my stay. Thank you!

Room was spacious, surprisingly quiet, despite first floor near entrance,and comfortable (excellent mattress) with microwave, fridge, coffeemaker, iron/board,hairdryer---all quite adequate. However the closet bar for hangers was too low to accomodate a dress. Only a sheet and light coverlet were on the bed with no additional blanket in the room. The bathroom floor was not very clean and the room smelled strongly of febreeze when we arrived. Breakfast was satisfactory with the exception of the really terrible, weak coffee and only "milk" (no clue if skim, whole, etc) to put in it.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were very small and could have afforded to be cleaner, the bathroom was kinda gross, I had to go buy cleaner and clean it myself. The bed in my room was on a 2x4 because the frame was broken. Although the sheets were clean and had a very generous sized TV and a decent Direct tv package. They were under some renovations to update the property, so hopefully after those the property will improve!

The room I had was well worn and had been smoked in at some point. Backed up to highway so I had to turn white noise way up. Shower pressure was a trickle. It looks nice in photos but they def put lipstick on a pig as far as the rooms go. The breakfast and lobby were very nice and clean but room left a lot to be desired.

Our room was NOT clean when we checked in. There were stains all over the lampshade, comforter, and sheets. When I told the front desk, I was not given an apology, or any words as a response. Instead, the room key was snatched out of my girlfriend’s hand, while he silently changed the room. No apology, no discount, just silence. Photos attached of the first room we checked into, 108.

This hotel ignored my reservation to be paid upon checkin, and instead billed my deposit card. The person who checked in my uncle said he paid too much and could get a lower rate walking in, and refused to accept card. I called desk the next day and asked to speak to a manager. I was told they'd call; they never did. Hotels.com told me it was my fault. Hugely disappointing, and have been improperly billed.

The staff of this Best Western could not have been more helpful. We were a large group of family including some elders and littles and they looked out for everyone with care and enthusiasm. We had large trays of leftovers needing refrigeration and they re-arranged their breakfast room fridge to help us. Just wonderful people. One star off for an A/C system that couldn't really keep up (though to be fair it was 97 degrees both days).

There was one person working at the desk at my check in (5pm) and it appeared they were having issues with rooms being cleaned at that time. Sp that seemed to be holding up checkins. The front desk was short with me, didnt tell me anything about my stay (room location, breakfast time, check out). The place is in the process of being renovated, so far so good. Overall our room was clean, however there was what looked like make up on a pillow case and on the top cover. The bed was comfortable and pillows are like all hotels, squishy. There wasnt clear directions on vending machines, ice machines. Overall if needed, I would stay here again and give them a second chance but being in a clean room was what I look for.

The first room we were in appeared to be clean and made up, but when we went to pull the covers to sleep, there were hairs in the sheets and the sheets were wrinkled in the shape of a person who had obviously slept there. In the second room they moved us to, they gave keys to a another person checking in so as we were getting ready, another person try to enter the room with a key. This happened TWICE in this second room. No matter where anyone travels to safety and cleanliness is a non-negotiable expectation of a hotel room.

Convient stay and decent price in Carlisle. Part of a much larger trip and enjoyed that this was the only place where we were able to plug into a charger overnight and start the next day at 100%!

It’s super easy to get off 81 and find it and also really easy to get back on to 81. It was clean well priced and the staff was very friendly but prompt which was greatly appreciated.
