My experience at Wyndham Durham Super 8 motel was honest to God the worse experience I ever had traveling in my life! That building all jokes aside needs to be condemned at the very least! The amount of roaches were beyond counting that I left all the lights on throughout the night! Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name associated with this motel. The same should go with Hotels.com You should not have this motel as a option! It is not a good look for your organization. Everything I read on the reviews were totally true! Filthy and disturbing! I wish I had checked the reviews before picking this health hazard of motel.

Worst hotel I’ve ever seen. Couldn’t stay 10 minutes. Moved to other hotel.

Stayed 1 night

We (wife and 2 kids) arrived late around 10 pm. There were people (renters for the night) on the 2nd floor balcony creating a weird seen. There is no lobby to check in. Check in was through a glass pass box that sets the vibe that you are in unsafe place that the staff is scared to meet you without a glass barrier. The only positive thing I can mention is while I tried to check in through the pass box a male attendant came in from outside and apologized and talked to us in a friendly way. I asked him about the parking place and he said he thinks it is safe. Still we staid outside the building until we got the key to our room. The room was filthy, infested with insects in the bed area on the walls, the floor and in the bath room. The blanket was visibly torn and the bedsheets did not look clean. We discussed and decided it was unsafe and impossible to sleep in the room so we started calling hotels in the area. We left the room after about 15 min to stay at the nearby hotel. In the morning we returned to hand in the room key, again thru the glass pass box, I also was hoping there could be a lobby where you can go inside to talk to the staff (I thought the door might have been closed by the time we arrived late in the evening). No lobby, only a glass pass box! Thank you for costing us about $90 and emotional distress. I am wondering if there is inspection at all by local authorities.
