The pool area needed work. Its an indoor pool that needed the AC fixed. It was a sauna in there. Also the bottom of the pool looked like it had mildew on it.

The staff was great, entire hotel being updated. Everything looks great and well kept! Really enjoyed our stay.

Decent place to stay the night when on the road. Beds/linens were clean and comfortable, carpet was…well, leave your shoes on. Breakfast was atrocious, plan on the Shoney’s next door. But the worst was the indoor pool. I’ve never been in a pool with stronger chlorine/chemicals. As soon as you enter the pavilion, the fumes hit you. I actually asked the manager if they had recently painted. One dip in the water and your eyes are burning. While I’m the pool with my kids (they didn’t care, it’s a pool) every parent that came in commented on the strong chemicals. One grandparent actually had to leave because his eyes were burning…and he was just sitting at a table. The shirt I wore down there, and was just sitting on a chair, still had the chemical smell the next morning. Again, it’s a decent, inexpensive place to stay when traveling, but if you have kids that want to swim, look elsewhere. Service was good, considering it’s just the owner/manager and one housekeeper.

After a long day at work, it was so nice to have a comfortable bed. Although we were disappointed the heated pool was out(we were looking forward to that), at least were able to be comfortable.

It was ok. The front desk was slightly rude upon check in, but no other issues. Largest issue is the amount of mold in the shower, the mildew all over in the pool room, and the pool room bathroom being out of order.

The folks working the front desk were friendly. Other than that, I would not recommend a stay here. Room was picked up, but run down. Tried to give my little one a bath, but the plug was broken out of the tub. Fixtures were loose. Room left a lot to be desired. A non-secured door allowed access in from the side of the building. The pool was dirty/green and has not been kept up. I reserved two nights, but checked out after the first day. No refund was given for the second, but we couldn’t stay there another night. I expected much more for the charged fare.

The indoor pool isnt heated and was freezing. In general, this hotel is in serious need of some updating. The beds were comfortable, but the hallways and public rooms are drab and dinghy.

The rooms were rundown but basically clean. The breakfast would have been graded a C at best. We went because of the pool. We called and they said it was kept at 84. It was not. No heat in the pool area and when asked about temp in the pool they did nothing about it. This is a place to stay if you just need a room for the night and nothing else is available.

It looked like the property was in the process of being renovated, so my comments probably don't mean much anymore. At the time of our stay the hallway carpeting was being replaced, but in our room the flooring was pulling up and the pool was closed. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. The hotel is listed as providing free breakfast, but when we went down nothing was available except cold cereal. The waffle batter was empty and the fruit juice dispenser was non-functional. I mentioned it to the clerk, but she didn't seem to know what to do about it. Our stay wasn't horrible, but it could have been better.

twice we’ve been to the same motel I wouldn’t have gone the second time if I’ve known it was the same one we got charged 2 1/2 times what we were supposed to checking in. They charge us $30 for checking in 45 minutes early without telling us and charge us fee for a safe we didn’t ask for there was no regular coffee in the pool was ice cold and no towels

This is a clean hotel. The beds are very comfortable. The shower is hot and nice. The management was helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed our overnight stay.

We have stayed here before with no issues. This time we were told they are remolding after we had checked in & they tried to up charge us for a clean room. The room was filthy! There was pee still in the toilet hair all over the bathroom & they room had not be vacuumed in a while. One of the beds was broken & we found two metal hooks in the carpet. We will not be going back!

The bathroom floor was dirty and we had to ask for a shower curtain.

The staff was amazing, however that is where it ended. We walked into our room and the first thing we saw was a big nasty stain on the white bedspread. It was gross. Then there were the dead bugs EVERYWHERE. I counted 9 in the 1 minute we were in the room. We high tailed it out of there. The staff gave us NO trouble what so ever when we asked for a refund. Again the staff was great but dead bugs and stained linens are a big no for me.

Upon entering our room, we saw trash on the bathroom floor, clothing tags on the floor, powder finger and hand prints on the door and the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling with wires exposed and one of them was not attached and you could see the actual wire. The bathroom door was broken and would not clothes properly. The sheets on one of the beds had black marks/ stains on it. We notified staff and they said they would get to it. The next morning we had to notify staff again to get the smoke detector and sheets taken care of. The lady said, maybe it is from your make up. Nobody in our party wears makeup.

This was the only place to stay with openings in the area. The room was nice and bed was comfortable. The linoleum floor was not my favorite and the bathroom was standard for an older hotel. I felt the price was too high for the location but I was grateful to stay within 30 minutes of where we were visiting. We wanted to check in early but it would be $40 extra but the hotel was clearly not booked up.

They advertised ‘Full Breakfast’. 1 waffle maker and a juice machine that doesn’t work, with some bread is not a ‘full breakfast’. Waffle batter was runny like water. Price was good. I’m ok with a continental breakfast, just stop advertising ‘Full Breakfast”. Facility needs more maintenance inspections. Room door sticks bad, several door closers in the facility make the doors slam which causes a lot of unnecessary noise at night. Sink drained very slow leaving toothpaste residue, and toilet was not bolted to the floor and almost tipped over. No clock in the room. Who wants to sit up in the middle of the night, turn the light on to find their phone, then put their classes on to see what time it is? Owners seem very bossy to employees, they don’t acknowledge guests to make them feel welcome, not even a “good morning”. One staff member was friendly, but most were not. They instantly took a $100 security deposit at check-in, but I was told at checkout the refund would take 5-7 days. How does that make sense? Maybe one day for the bank to post. Charge the safe fee at check-out, if they safe is used. I’m sure a lot of people that don’t use the safe forget about the charge, and I was not asked at check-out if I even used the safe, so if I forgot I would have been charged. This can be seen as a dishonest practice. When I mentioned it, she immediately removed the charge, but I still have to wait 5-7 days to get my $100 deposit back. I didn't see this in their ad.

Oh boy I messed up booking here. Passing though the area and found this place on Expedia. Although the ad looked decent, checking-in soon changed my mood. It’s was like a checking into a college dorm with all the rule they read. You would think with all these rules the room would be 5 star. Hair in the bathroom, toilet seat loose, hole in the bathtub, stain in the towels and a thick smell of piss in the hallway. We didn’t sleep much as the noise from the stairs next to the room and doors shutting. Checking out I asked for the receipt. They have the whole excuse it would be emailed to me. I asked again and once I got it I noticed they charged me 1.50 safe fee. When questioned they said because the room has a safe. I never touched the safe and wouldn’t have known about the fee had I not gotten the receipt. Very cheap management style to scam money from guests.

The pool was a little cold, but still nice and clean. We stayed in the king suite and the jacuzzi tub was amazing. The room was really nice and the bed was super comfy. However, the room was described as having a countryside view and we had a view of the neighboring storage units. But that is the only complaint.

We have stayed at this location before and enjoyed it so we decided to stay here again when traveling through the area. It was as before with just one concerning problem. The bolt part of the door knob did not work. The latch and latch plate were not lined up correctly and did not work.

Noise with upgrade for hotel was going on next door to our room.

Didn't like the creaking floor we could hear all hours of the night from people walking, overall good experience

Comfortable and quiet, convenient eating within walking distance. Block heater outlets in parking lot make convenient if slow EV charging.

Easy check in. Staff is good as well. I have stayed here many times and will be staying again soon

this was the most miserable experience i have ever had with a hotel room but primarily the staff. check in which i did on line and paid was awful a new person was in training and it took forever to get checked in, then after i was assured online my bill was paid, they took my card and charged me another 1.50 per room to "guarentee the card was good?" i had already paid alittle upset but ok. then they told me that i had to pay another $100 cash per room for a security deposit. (i got 2 rooms) and that when i got ready to check out in the morning, they would have to check our room to verify there was no damage or missing items from the room then they would give me the deposit back. we were on a golf trip with a couple of different courses and had early tee times so we had to go check out, the manager literally went to both rooms, looked the room over and pulled down the bedsheets to verify that all was good, then came back downstairs to refund my cash. he said it was because we were within 50 miles of the hotel...(actually my address is 57 miles from the hotel) yes i was very upset and humiliated. maybe they have bad people that stay there, whatever, but i have never been so disrespected and humiliated in my life. i am 57 years old. maybe the problem is i am a biker and have long hair and a long beard. ha, profiling. in all my life and all my hotel stays, i have never been treated like this. he acted as if my goal was to steal his sheets and steal his 13" tv

Once you say a price be set on it and 9 dollars for military discount is crazy why even have a discount for the military when you say taxes just put the price back up makes no since. Owner is not polite very rude and gives no time for questions or someone trying to understand something

The picture is nothing like the hotel.When you get there there is a 100 dollar cash deposit that is written on a 3 inch by 3 inch card that you need a magnifying glass to read. I was told one thing and then I was told something totally different. I called Expedia that was nothing but a waste of my time. I will NEVER go through Expedia again for anything. They would not refund my money. I will be contacting the BBB!

Staff was rude. They would leave 2 towels in the room. Was even rude to the people from Expedia when they called about asking me cancelation of 2 nights. We left the hotel with 2 nights left that were paid.

Was exactly what I expected. Worth the money. I didn’t use the pool or breakfast option. It was just a clean,warm place to sleep. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

The staff on duty was efficient,friendly and helpful. The Mexican restaurant next door is wonderful! We didn’t try Shoneys but it is right next door also. Dunkin Donut is about a mile away. Breakfast at Days Inn was only bagels and waffles. No fruit or yogurt. They could step up their game in that respect but we would stay there again. Indoor pool was in full use but we didn’t use it. Clean and safe.

Room was not very clean. Crumbs under the desk on the floor, used paper towels near a bench, different trash on floor (we had to clean it all up) …. We were charged for a dog, we didn’t have. Said something our first night there about the charge being to high, was told it would be taken care of. Two days later, still hasn’t been. Said something at check out, called back in two hours later and was told again the owner is the only one who can fix it but have yet to be able to get ahold of him… Pool doesn’t have towels unless you ask for them.. they’re not available without asking. Breakfast is Walmart muffins, bagels and waffles that you cook. Overall, there are much nicer hotels in the area.

The bed had stains, the floor felt like it was caving in, and the fridge in the room still had food in it from other guests. The breakfast was worst I’ve ever seen. They only had the waffles that most hotels have, a few pieces of bread that had ants crawling all over it, and stale cereal. The only thing that was decent was the prepackaged oatmeal and prepackaged muffins.
