1 week later & I’m still waiting for my deposit to be returned!! Friday night & they close the pool/ jacuzzi at 9:30 pm! We booked this room because of pool jacuzzi but because of traffic we arrived late and after dinner it was too late to even use the facilities for half an hour!!😕 many other options available in area that are comparable and with better property policies like bring permitted to use the pool!😞

The room was a generous size and the bedding was comfortable. The shower was hot and there were plenty of towels. The pool area was nice and the open air atrium was inviting. We appreciated the ample continental breakfast and the convenient location near the airport and not far from restaurants. It was a great place to end our vacation.

The biggest issue is their lack of hotel shuttle. Was able to get shuttle from the airport but in the early morning when I was ready to go back to airport there wasn’t a shuttle available and I was informed at that point that I needed to make a reservation 24 hours in advance. I wasn’t even at the hotel 24hours. At checkin this wasn’t mentioned however they do have it brochure which I suppose I was expected to read at midnight when I arrived. Very poor and will keep me from ever staying with this establishment again

Breakfast was good. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work. Body wash in the shower did not function. No shuttle after 10pm! I note there were 4 flight arrivals showing arrival that would have potential guests needing transportation and possible late check in. Taxi was $15 flag drop and over $22 total. As future travel to San Jose would also be late I will not stay there again ! Will not recommend to others.

This was our second time staying at this property and it’s a solid choice for a no frills but affordable property with a decent free breakfast. We had two prominent issues this visit: when we checked in and went to our room it was already occupied and had someone else’s bags laid out inside.d they took care of us and provided us an upgraded suite since other two bed rooms were sold out. The other issue is that we wish we’d known ahead of time that the hot tub was not working because that was an amenity we were looking forward to. The staff is great and kind and the room was clean and comfortable.

A nice hotel, close to the airport. Room was clean, but mattress was dated to be replaced or at least flipped. Airport shuttle doesn’t start until 6:30 am, so early flights are out of luck. $50+ for Uber.

Worst planning . One window and complete blank wall in front of window . Window glass broken and room was dusty like nobody has used since long . Bed sheet was stained . We had to request to clean room and change sheets and covers. I stayed four nights no much change in breakfast . Overall very poor house keeping.

This was a typical airport hotel. Designed for a one or two night stay, and if that’s all you need, it’s fine. The downside: The sheets had stains, along with the towels. It was obvious the stains were imbedded, so I did not ask for new sheets, that seemed pointless to me. So, the sheets and towels were “clean”, but had set in stains. The good: There was hot coffee in the lobby at 5:30 AM. The hotel was quiet, I was right next to the pool, and I didn’t hear anything. The bed was comfortable, I didn’t wake up with a stiff back. About 1 mile away there was a small strip mall with 2 or 3 different places to eat. The AC in the room worked good. If you just need a place to stay for the night before or after a flight, this place is ok.

The hotel is dirty, carpet smelled, looks like it has never been vacuumed including the hallways. I had a sleepless night due to allergies from the dust. I wish I would have walked right out when I arrived, since I paid for a night and didn’t get any sleep. Now, I’m waiting for my refund for the night I didn’t not stay. To make things right I would request the full refund.

Our stay was fine. Breakfast was good & has variety of food. Eventhough there were doing water maintenance, by the late afternoon , water resume. The remote control was a little bit worn down or just need battery. The room was big & roomy. I liked the bed. It did not give me backache the next day.

If you like a softer bed, then the bed is too hard, and the walls must be thin as I could hear my neighbors talking, tv, and stomping feet. If you stay here go to the top floor and it will be quieter so you may get some sleep. The staff is truly wonderful! The desk staff kindly assisted me to change rooms. The breakfast is ok, and handy, but I've had better elsewhere.

We arrived after about 9:15 pm because our flight was from Savannah was delayed leaving Minneapolis. So we were already tired( I know, not the hotel’s fault), but it seems like we were met with barriers: a gated entrance, full parking lot making it difficult to bring in luggage, and a room completely away from the main entrance. The room was furnished essentially: two beds, a desk/table, a kitchenette area that was sparsely furnished with one cup and one plate, and a bathroom with no washcloths. Also the a/c was set at 65 degrees, but it was not that temperature in the room. It started to work for a few minutes then stopped for nearly an hour and with several attempts to restart it, we finally called the front office at nearly midnight. Someone came and after a few minutes it restarted and remained working for the remainder of our stay. The best part of our stay was that it was quiet and convenient to the San Jose Airport. The staff was pleasant and helpful, however, the facility was not what we have experienced with other Country Inn and Suites.

The 3rd floor room bathroom was extremely noisy as the constant roof mounted exhaust fan could be heard in the main room constantly. The AC was not functioning properly as it could not be switched off unless the main wall plug was pulled out. Otherwise all was great

I only had one channel on the TV. I let front desk know about it three times, and I was told someone would look at it in the morning. One staff member tried switching the remote but it didn’t work. I was only getting power function as well as volume. Also the only channel I was getting was in Spanish so that didn’t help. I tried to get some sort of credit for the stay or at least a future stay which didn’t happen.

The ceilings are paper thin. If anyone walks above you at night, it creeks and sounds like elephants! Impossible to sleep, even with the TV loud, if anyone is waking above you.

Highly recommend this hotel. Staff was wonderful. It was clean . Kept fresh towels and bedding in daily rotation without me having to ask! Very convenient and breakfast was great too! I'll be back again for my 4th time next year !

My experience at this hotel was almost perfect. I loved the cleanliness of the hotel, the room had everything I needed, the continental breakfast even though they serve it super early (6:30-8:30), for those on vacations is not very convenient, but the only thing I had to mention is about the the housekeeper I’m not sure exactly what time it happened but it was approximately at 9:30-10 am. Husband and I were in bed when the housekeeper quickly knocked on our door and opened it. My husband and I almost hard a heart attack for being woken up that way.. We told her we were not leaving yet. She left but she literally came back around a half hour later and did the same thing, knocked and opened the door. Again, we screamed we were still there and we had to jump out of bed and locked the door. This lady returned a 3rd time and did the same with the difference she couldn’t open the door this time because it was locked. It was very frustrating. Check out time was at noon and there is this lady trying to clean the room hours early almost kicking us out of it. Check in at 3 pm, plenty of time to clean the room after the customer leaves. Maybe something admin should address.

I walked into lobby to check in last night. I approached the front desk and told the receptionist that i am checking in and his response was so rude. Without greeting me he said Oh I just finished my shift for the day and i logged out..Ok fine I will check you in. He reluctantly checked me in and forgot to give me my driver’s license. Definitely not a great first impression at this hotel.

We had a one night stay at Country Inn & Suites in San Jose, CA. We have stayed here on three prior occasions. Our room was clean and upstairs, which we like. Checking in went well. Staff was helpful. Parking is free and gate is closed at night. We like staying at Country Inn because it is very close to SJ Mineta airport and there is a gas station about two blocks away where we fill up our rental car. The gas price is the lowest in all of SJ. We had a very early flight, so we did not eat breakfast. We have eaten breakfast in the past and the variety of foods that was offered was nice. We would stay at Country Inn again.

Area was really run down around the property (over grown weeds, trash, etc.) - public transporation was only a few blocks away but didn't feel safe walking in the neighborhood. Not much nearby (walking distance) - ended up getting a rental car halfway through.

Very convenient location for the airport and basic shopping. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable with choices of pillows. Sink is in with the toilet and shower. Permanent night light in the bathroom was nice. You can hear the people above you as if you were in a house. That wasn’t terrible but I noticed it. Breakfast had good variety and was fresh. Staff was really nice. The property itself felt very safe. The surrounding area is not a place I would walk around after dark but that wouldn’t keep me from staying here again.

We stayed here for the Taylor Swift concert and I'm glad I found this place. We were greeted warmly by the front desk when we checked in and she even gave us tips on where to eat and how to get to Levi's Stadium. The accommodations were just right for our family of 4. It was a comfortable stay. The hotel itself is about a 5-10 minute walk from the nearest VTA station which is a godsend during the concert. It's also really close to Santana Row, Valley Fair mall, and Japantown. I highly recommend this place if you're going to a concert at Levi's Stadiu.

There was no coffee available at breakfast, which is inexcusable for a major hotel chain. One of our 2 rooms smelled bad, like a past guest smoked weed. The room that didn’t smell bad had a faulty air conditioner unit that was so noisy we had to turn it off to sleep.

Room was nice looking and clean. There were plenty towels, laid out in an easy way to reach them and to see which towel was what. Breakfast offerings were excellent: eggs, sausage, cold cereal, pastries, bagels, English muffins, yogurt with all the fixings, and more. Not a lot of restaurant choices nearby, but short drive to other areas.

Our room was fine but was across from the elevator. So in the morning, it was super noisy. Also, breakfast ended at 8:30 am. By far, I had never stayed at a hotel that served breakfast till 8:30 am only.
