We got there and didn’t even check in due to the long wait (over an hour) and also we decided to leave since their elevators were broken and we had a lot of luggage and weren’t willing to leave it in our car (Stockton crime) and too heavy to carry up stairs.

Everyone who works there is very courteous and nice Nice swimming pool and hot tub Hotel bar/restaurant closes down exactly at 9pm regardless of how many people are still inside (over 30 when I was there). They are currently remodeling the hotel, which makes it extremely noisy at the hotel and while one is staying in the room. Should offer a better price or something for the rooms that are near the construction zone. Any chance for an afternoon nap is probably not going to happen

We were not told that there was construction going on on the building. Was woke up at 8a.m. to sanding and drilling sounds. Also was not informed that no room cleaning or fresh towels would be provided daily. Had to go to the front desk to get fresh towels. Had to request room cleaning the night before from the front desk. Hotel Starbucks would not honor Starbucks reward card. Will think twice about staying at Hilton Hotels.

Huge pool party just below our room. Called front desk around 9pm to let them know there were 25+ people yelling, screaming, loud music, etc. They said pool closes at 10pm but they would check it out. Ridiculous!!

The hotel felt dated and a little rough around the edges. We had trouble with our door multiple times and there was no urgency to resolve it. There was also stains on the ceiling and rusted areas around the trim in the bathroom. Feels like it needs a refresh.

Staff and facility are excellent, my room was kind of beat and is need of an upgrade. Black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, as well as rusty door molding and hinges. other than that, the room was pretty clean and the housekeeping service was excellent. Someone dropped food on the floor in front of the elevator and it didn't get cleaned up until the next morning, which was gross.

The property is clean and quiet though many features are dated. The room is spacious but the bathroom is smaller than expected. Hot breakfast is a plus with fairly good selections, particularly fresh fruits and freshly made warm oatmeal. The service is great, but be prepared to tip the server, as at the end you will be given a check with an area where a tip amount is to be filled in. We were a bit disappointed by the upgraded internet package. It is so slow and we ended up using our own Google internet connection which is way much faster than Hilton upgraded internet option. The front desk removed the charge for one day during check out. We booked with the Executive Lounge option, but upon our arrival, we were informed that the option has been closed years ago, so we were not sure why it is still showing up in the room option for selection. Overall, it was a nice stay and we don’t mind coming back in the future.

While the rooms have recently been remodeled, they removed the alarm clocks so you have no way of knowing what time it is in the middle of the night as the A/C unit constantly cycles on and off like a jet engine! A call t the front desk says they no longer have alarm clocks as "amenities"....when was a clock ever considered an amenity? Talk about going cheap! The pillows are awful....why do hotels put down pillows in their rooms? They flatten down to nothing and there's no way to ever get them to stay lofty. And the rooms are just plain noisy....no sound proofing or insulation between the walls or floors. Doors slam at all hours of the night, people talking loudly in the hall (they might as well be in the same room with you) and the kids staying because they are in sports tournaments are running around upstairs and moving furniture or God knows what?! Worst 4 nights sleep ever!

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Stockton (out of 4 hotels). The rooms are modern and look newly renovated. Everything was very clean. The TV was large and looked new. I am very finicky about noise and my room was totally noise-free. There was also a microwave and mini-fridge in the room, which was very handy. There is free coffee in the lobby or you can order a Starbucks espresso drink in the lobby for a small fee. I will definitely stay there again. It is not in downtown, but in north Stockton.

The AC never got the room temp below 72, my towel was worn through with two holes in it, the towel holder was coming off the wall, and the bedside lamps didn’t work. For this price I would expect things in much better condition.

No body shower gel, it was empty. next day I commented to front desk that there was no shower gel and the shower door will not stay closed, so water was coming out of the shower because of that. They did not fill the shower gel neither fix the shower door. Also second night my door was open when came back to the hotel. The maid must of left it open. luckily nothing was missing that we know for now.

Rooms are updated and very clean. They have lots of plugs and good lighting. Nice updated clean bathrooms. The lobby needs updating. Also, they seem short staffed, no door or drink service in the middle of the day on a Saturday.

Computer was down. Service staff accommodated breakfast, which was nice. Only complaint I had was the room did not have a remote. I notified room service about the issue and they wanted me to pick it up downstairs. My room was the last room at the end of the hallway and I was tired working my 12 hour shift in the ED. It would have been nice if one of them could’ve just gave me that. There was 6 staff members hanging out at the registration desk.

This property is very convenient and the staff are awesome. However there was lots of street noise, 2am door knocking, someone trying to get I to our room at 6am and a bopping wedding late into the night. One block away you can score some drugs at the 711 real easy. I will say the property parking felt safe and we had no issues.

I should start by saying Expedia could have done a better job of warning about the ongoing renovations. For hotel - If you go with an expectation that this is a 2-star property comparable to Laquinta Inn, you will be content. But going to Hilton and staying on Executive floor and getting what I got is a pure disappointment. The wash basin backed up dirty filth from who knows where, there was constant strong smell in the room coming from AC vents, the bathroom cieling in shower was touching the head and there were spider webs in the bedroom. I dont want to keep going as I know I am not coming back to this one. Oh did I forget that breakfast was terrible. Only positive was friendly staff :-)
