We always enjoy a suite with a pullout for my girlfriend's son if need. We also appreciate the breakfast! The only non-great thing is the gym which is adequate but not outstanding. Otherwise, all good. Thanks!

I paid 279 for a room expecting to have a pool night with the kids SOLE PURPOSE WAS THE POOL & after I booked and paid I was told the pool was closed for maintenance. Gee thanks

Wonderful space for a family of four. Very stingy with towels and supplies - had to ask multiple times for extra towels and such. Pool was closed and one of the main reasons we picked this hotel was because of the pool. They said the ceiling was unsafe, so clearly, this has been an issue for a while. We were there three days and every day, multiple crews were repairing tiles, the outdoor space, and the roof. We had men on ladders outside both of our room windows, not the nicest visual.

Pet friendly.. Brought our Son Kobe 🐶 to family BBQ and we all had an amazing time. Great location near highway. Breakfast was okay. Outdoor hotel 🏨 has two Grills and tables if you would like to grill some foods and drinks. We didn’t have chance to explore Pool and Gym. Overall it is very convenient. 🙏🙏🙏

Pool was under repairs. We stayed here approximately 8 months ago and the pool was out of service then as well. The gym didn’t have water, or cleaning supplies to wipe down equipment after use.

Comfortable and quiet as always. Stayed 3 nights but never got housekeeping. Great breakfast. We’ve stayed quite a few times over the last 15 ish years and it’s always a great experience. This time I noticed that some things are looking a little tired. For instance, the front of the dishwasher had spots/damage and the corners of the picture frame in the bathroom were tarnished/damaged.

There is weird white powder in the corners of my upgraded room. There was a dead roach under the centerpeice in the main room. There was no hot water in the morning so cold shower. This place ruined any calmness in a business trip. AVOID.

My family stayed one night for us to have the floors done at our home. Luckily it was only one night because the bed and pillows were terribly uncomfortable, the bathroom was filthy, the room smelled bad like smoke and animal urine, and the blackout curtains in one of the bedrooms had holes in it.

Room could be a lot more cleaner headboard had stains I don’t know what it was. You could see handprints on headboard. Bathtub was dirty. Sink was clogged toilet was dirty. It’s been years that I haven’t stayed there but before when I used to stay really enjoyed it rooms were clean. Everything was nice not anymore.

I requested a handicap accessible room that was not given. Once I was assigned a room I went to settle in and it smelled like an astray and the room accessibility and size was not what was advertised. The woman in front gave me a new room. The attitude of the staff wasn’t bad, but its was not the best- especially given the room circumstances. Both rooms were dirty with garbage and dirt marks all over. I also spotted more than 1 roach the following morning. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Second issue: I went to breakfast at 8 AM and the only food available was clumpy oatmeal, waffles and apples which are foods that my guest and I are allergic to. No other food was out or available. Overall it was not a good experience, especially for the money that was paid.

We’ve stayed here multiple times for more than 15 years. Convenient location, plenty of space in the room, yummy breakfast every day, pleasant and helpful staff. The rooms are looking a little tired—dishwasher front was scuffed and stained, the picture frame in the bathroom was tarnished from moisture. Stayed for 3 nights and didn’t get housekeeping on the second day as the every other day service was supposed to be.

We were very disappointed with our suite as it was advertised as a Queen but it was very obvious it was a double bed. The front desk employees would not answer us when we asked if they were double beds. It was obvious they knew they were not being truthful about a Queen size. Very disappointed.

The staff was really wonderful and helpful. Extremely responsive to anything you need and polite. The overall hotel was clean but the rooms could use some slight updating and the sofa bed was mostly springs which was not a huge deal but if you plan to use it, just know it won’t be comfortable. At least the one in our room was not great.

Very good, the only reason I can’t give a 5 stars is because the room that I stayed in thebatheoom doesn't have a door so everytime someone would go to the bathroom the light would go straight to my face and the TV were placed in a position that none couldn't see comfortable

We were on the ground floor which had a basement feel. The HVAC in the room was incredibly noisy. The breakfast was nice. The full refrigerator was nice. The bed was smaller than a queen even though it was advertised as a queen. It’s not a vacation destination but it is fine for an overnight stop.

The front staff was super lazy and unhelpful until a Manager actually fulfilled our request. There were no towels in our room or available when we arrived for check in. There were hardly any snacks available for purchase at the store. My room didn't have a toaster oven, mixing utensils or even glasses. The pool was disgusting and the room smelled like mold. The front desk didn't have any room deodorizer either. I've stayed here many times and this used to be my "go-to" spot when in town but this was by far the worst experience ever and we will NOT be returning.

Our room smelled of smoking. Found numerous cigarette butts outside our window so we were I able to determine if there was smoking in the room or the windows were left open previously. We were originally charged for our room, again, at the location, although we booked through Expedia. After contacting Expedia and painfully reexplaining the difference between incidentals and a duplicate room charge, and providing credit card statement pending charges, the charge from the hotel was credited prior to checkout. If we decide to stay here again we may complain if the room smells of lingering smoke. It was most prevalent in the pillows after we went to bed. Suite set up was a nice touch, otherwise.

The hotel was nice. We would definitely stay again. Only one problem the room was not ready by 4. They had a shift change and the first girl did not tell the next employee that we were waiting on our room and that she was going to let us know as we waited in the patio area. So he had no idea that we were there. The manager did upgrade our room and apologized.

This hotel is clean, nice, and has a great staff that genuinely cares about making it a positive experience for you. I highly recommend. Good breakfast too. The staff seems to really enjoy working there…especially the breakfast ladies. Someone knows how to manage.

Booked 2 bedroom accessible suite. They did not have one when I showed up. Told me they didn’t have any left. They knew I had a disabled elderly person as I walked in with a walker for a 90-year person. Over and over they told me they had nothing available and suggested I look for another hotel. I held my ground and they “found” a room after repeatedly lying to me. Bathroom was filthy and not ADA compliant. Would not recommend. Will be contacting authorities as well.

Good hotel. The suites are well-equipped (cooktop, microwave, dishwasher). Two TVs in separate rooms. The breakfast is OK, not bad. The hotel is on a hill. The only places within walking distance are a helicopter factory and an assisted living facility. (I’m not criticizing, just informing.) Hotel staff are very nice. Fitness center is big.

My family and I stayed at Homewood suites and our room was in the 2nd floor. The front desk staff(guy) gave me the keycard and I've been looking for the room number. Turns out the second number is a 0 and not 2. Good thing another staff at the elevator helped me and we enesed up going to the front desk to clarify. The first staff who assisted me doesn't seem approachable at all. The room was clean, we had a comfortable stay and will be looking at homewood suites locations when we travel. Hot breakfast was amazing, the kitchen staff refilled and kept everything organized and clean. This location at Stratford CT is very quiet. But not walkable, you would need to drive to get around. The stop light across from hotel is not working.

The staff were really nice and very helpful, I like the texting feature they have, the breakfast was a bit hectic due to the dinning area not having proper seating arrangements, long lines to toast a bagel due to only having one toaster, the blankets in the room were not that comfortable to use and the beds need to be upgraded and maybe some better mattress protectors be put on. The pool was nice but the bathroom in the pool area had no heat so it made things difficult with a toddler trying to use the bathroom, but it being too cold. Overall it was quiet and a great time for my kids.
