Very nice boutique hotel in Salzburg. Well appointed and clean, staff/service was great. The room was nice and comfortable. Only stayed one night, and for that night a solid 4-stars! The explanation future guests need regards the unloading and parking part. There is no place to unload your car in front of the hotel. There is a side street immediately to the left of the entrance as you're sailing around the 'round about. Turn right there and you'll find 3-5 spaces on the right shoulder of the road depending upon how busy it is. Unload there and the staff will bring out a cart. The parking garage is 5 mins away by car (all one way streets, a bit of a maze), 10 minutes at least on foot, and is not easy to find. Look for the Hotel Imlauer sign on the wall, it's only about 6" x 6", so keep your eyes peeled. Once you're there, it all makes sense! Just hang in there! We do recommend Hotel Imlauer in Salzburg! Enjoy!

Ein gutes Hotel in zentraler Lage und mit einer tollen Rooftop-Bar inkl. Ausblick. Der Service beim Frühstück könnte aufmerksamer sein. Ebenso gibt es einen Minuspunkt für das - mit Nachhaltigkeit begründete - Fehlen von Bademantel und Badeschuhen, sowie die Notwendigkeit min. 30min vor geplanten Saunagang, diese über die Rezeption einschalten zu lassen. Letzteres funktionierte zudem leider nicht verlässlich. Alles in allem war unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Hotel gut mit Luft nach oben.

What a great location!! Easy to walk to all the wonderful sites. Staff were very helpful, check in a breeze as was check out. Room was a great size. The room was very warm even though we turned the heat right down, was great that the window was able to be cracked open. Good gym with a lovely view. Would stay again

Nice, clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Rooms are a bit small and parking is not on site but close, which makes it a bit inconvenient with luggage. Comfortable beds and clean bathroom. Would stay again.

The room was spotless & comfortable with super comfortable beds & reception staff very friendly & helpful. On our departure we were given a pack containing apples a delicious cake & a drink bottle with the hotel logo filled with water. Highly recommended.

The hotel was reasonably nice but could use a refresh. A lot of brown carpet and general decor. Air conditioning did not function well and had to open the windows to stay cool. Could be a problem in the summer. In-room glassware was not clean. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and helpful although a restaurant recommendation was not good. The rooftop restaurant and sky bar were fantastic and the location was good. Would probably not stay here again.

Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend, die Sauberkeit im Zimmer hat uns irgendwie irritiert, die Glastür zum Badezimmer war sehr schmutzig, Abdrücke und Spritzer, aber ansonsten alles sehr fein.

Zimmer war leider nur als Doppelzimmer hergerichtet, obwohl als Familienzimmer gebucht. Somit musste es nach 22 Uhr noch entsprechend der Buchung hergerichtet werden. Auf dem WC-Sitz lagen schwarze Haare.

An excellent hotel choice when you need a larger room as we did for a family of 3. Room was incredibly spacious with 2 closets, huge bathroom and large beds. Rooftop restaurant was incredibly fun with an amazing view and excellent food. Hotel was safe, quiet and an easy walk to everything we wanted to see and do.

Make sure your room is on the second floor above ground level or higher. There was a very loud function in the event room on the ground level that didn’t end until 1:00AM that made it impossible to sleep. Irritating as we had a very early start the next day.

The hotel itself was great. However in the night there was some music from the streets. Not sure if it was due to the weekend. Also the room was warm and we had to open 2 windows. The AC was non functional

We went to 11 cities in Europe this trip in 4 countries. This was the best bed and pillows. Slept like a baby. The hotel is clean nice well appointed and the staff is very professional. The restaurant was fantastic.

Best staff at any hotel we stayed at during our 3 week European trip. Zoe was extra fantastic, she helped us basically plan our 3 days there with lots of tourist and off the beaten track ideas and we didn’t even ask her to do it. Also loved the chocolate and fresh apples at the receptions. But all staff was great. From housekeeping to restaurant staff as well

Friendly service from the registration staff. They help us book a private Sound of Music tour on the spot!! What a great tour!! Rooms were comfortable and clean. Roof top bar was fantastic and had an amazing view of the fortress!! Can’t wait to come back again.

Horrid service in the Bar upon arrival. Ignored for 15 mins and then once we asked for service waiter comes over and say’s “ What?” We walked out. Either they are tired of tourists or just plain rude. Initial contact put a damper on our stay. Will not return and do not recommend. First and only poor service after 3 lovely weeks in Austria

Nice hotel and in a good location. My advice is to order breakfast with room reservation or ahead of time with the reception to avoid embarrassment with the dining staff and being accused of not having a room. Being loudly told to pay in front of the fellow diners was beyond ridiculous and unprofessional. Was later apologized to after our rooms were found, but the event spoiled our morning. We will not be back.

We stayed in several different hotels this trip, and this one was perhaps our favorite for service and comfort. Staff was extremely helpful, and it was very useful to use the parking garage even after check-out. And the bed was fantastic!

Breakfast was not included, but we had both breakfast and a lunch in the Sky Bar rooftop. The staff was incredible from our arrival til we left. Toby helped us get our car to the garage, Michael was my go to for everything! We had an issue with our shower and the maintenance showed up immediately. A day later he gave us help finding a doctor for my friend. Every person at the desk was the most helpful.

The staff was very welcoming and even expedited our check-in so we could catch dinner before the kitchen closed. The restaurant on the top floor seems to be a local favorite—it was packed both nights we were there. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, and the hotel is just a short walk from the train station. We would definitely stay here again!

For my two nights in Salzburg the Imlauer Pitter was perfect. Great location, clean, nice free upgrade, the staff were above and beyond polite, respectful, helpful and courteous. Food in the skybar was wonderful and the view rewarding. Couldn't have picked a better hotel.

We were very pleased with the IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg. It was close enough to walk to the train station, but still very quiet for being so centrally located. The lobby is beautiful and we were warmly and efficiently greeted on check in. The room was perfectly clean and very well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, too. We did not have any meals at the hotel, but thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay there.

We had a wonderful stay at the IMLAUER Hotel Pitter Salzburg. The rooms were very nice and clean and the hotel is within walking distance of all the sites. The staff was nice and the breakfast buffet was really great. We also ate dinner in the restaurant several times and food and staff was excellent! I highly recommend this hotel.

Location is not exactly closed to old town, I picked hotel for the location and roof top restaurant, but I was extremely disappointed. Service at the restaurant at the roof top restaurant was absolutely bad, food was terrible.
