Large Lake House | Door County | Cave Point Park

we had a wonderful time at the lake house!! Beautiful view, nice and cozy, warm, everything we needed in the kitchen. Super friendly host, and if we had forgotten something it would have been there. We enjoyed the fireplace and the fire pit!! Thanks!!!

My kids and I stayed at Janet's place for four nights over the Thanksgiving break. We all had just a wonderful time. The house is amazing for so many reasons. Some of those reasons are the way the house is stocked with everything you would ever need, the view of the lake can be seen from most of the rooms, There is an amazing fireplace and the cabinets have lots of games to play. All of the cabinets are labelled so it's easy to find all that you need. The bedrooms are all furnished with comfy beds and a great view of the lake. I really liked the fact that there is only one tv in the house. So you are not just sitting around watching tv instead of enjoying your surroundings. The house is located very close to Cave Point Rock and White Fish Dunes. We went to cave point rock 3 times while we were there. It's amazing to watch the waves crashing in to the rocks. We were able to walk down to the beach and let our dogs run all over the beach.I would not change a single thing about this fabulous house and it's view and location. My kids and I give Janet's house and yard and view of the lake a 10 out of 10, 5 stars is not enough. Janet is also very reachable and really thought of everything to make our stay so wonderful.

Beautiful place… Awesome location!

Spent a chill 4-days over Christmas with family and friends at this beautiful lakefront house. The location is amazing and the trail leading to Cave Point county park is a huge bonus. A great property to cook, play games, listen to the waves and hike/walk the trails. Very private, but close to the shops and restaurants in Door County too. If you think of all the things you forget to bring to a VRBO that you might need (soap, napkins, tin foil, spices, knife sharpener, etc.), this house has it all.
