The elevator is crazy small but it worked fine.

Very close to Gare de Lyon, elevator is too small, room is small ,just enough to open the suitcase.The air conditioner is loud and cannot adjust the temperature, breakfast is simple but enough, free coffee all day.

Personnels d’accueil sympathique. Ascenseurs très petit avec désagréable sensation de yo-yo. Chambre petite mais confortable, salle de bain définitivement trop petite, mesurant 1,90m et ayant le poids des années situé sur la bas ventre ( si vous voyez ce que je veux dir, un peu d’humour sur soit même ne peut pas nuire) impossible de fermer la porte de la douche ni de me tourner dedans. Pas terrible pour ce niveau de classement d’hotel Malheureusement je n.ai remarqué ce détail que le matin après la nuit.

I loved the room that I was in. It had two French windows one could open, looking out onto the street. There were trees on one side for shade and nice planters. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was a blessing after my long journey to Paris. The room also smelled fresh. The front desk people were kind, and I was allowed to store my luggage for a few hours after I checked out but before my train was scheduled to leave. I will definitely stay here again.

Great two night stay at the hotel. Rooms are small but in keeping with Paris, but well decorated, clean and comfortable enough! Liked the downstairs 24 hours a day coffee machine and tea facilities for guests. Fire alarm went off in middle of night and early morning one day, but hotel apologised for the accidental disturbance. Would stay again when visiting Paris. Convenient location with nearby laundry facility.

A nice small hotel. Pleasant lobby, smiling staff. Good location. But my room was the smallest I have ever stayed in. On top of that the layout of the room was so strange that I nearly couldn’t enter the room with my suitcases. The bathroom was tiny but modern and newly renovated and nice. The bedroom had a carpet floor, which I do not like.

Notre séjour a été agréable. L'hôtel est très bien situé. Le seul bémol est l'ascenseur qui est très lent et ne fonctionne pas de manière optimale. Nous avions notre chambre au 6e étage et avons parfois dû monter à pieds.

Great location. Next to the metro and lots of dining within walking distance. Beautiful area of Paris. Unfortunately I was in my first trimester of pregnancy when we stayed and the area smelled like onions. Caused me to vomit a few times, even in the room. Probably to the non-pregnant nose it is fine. The rooms are small and the elevator is very small. But we had all our needs met and the staff was very kind.

We booked two rooms for our stay. The rooms were clean, but small and in one of the rooms the shower was too small to shower conveniently. This hotel had a very nice reception area with free coffee/tea/hot chocolate available.

I’ve never been so disgusted in my whole life pulled up the sheets and they were all stained yellow. They did refund me and let me go somewhere else but we were so grossed out we couldn’t stay. Wasted so much of a day finding somewhere else to stay

Wonderful place, so utterly charming. Great location. Breakfast buffet is offered for a fee and wow, what a spread they put out! Lots of cafes close by. Bed was super comfortable.

The room was modern and clean, had a nice balcony, the bathroom was small but clean and modern. Breakfast buffet was not ver varied, but had the essentials. The staff was nice, polite, and helpful.

The stay was fine. But seriously the cleaning staff need to be changing the bed sheets in between stays… My boyfriend and i found many things with the roon that werent clean prior to our arrival including the carpet, the sink and bath. The hairs ib the bed was the worst part of it… apart from that the breakfast was great and location was amazing but seriously the cleanliness needs to step up

Une hotel plaisant, accessible et globalement confortable dans ses prestations. L'ensemble des services nécessaires est présent. On apprécie ! Quelques petits bémols, certains voisins peuvent parler un peu fort au téléphone dans les chambres adjacentes et sont perceptibles. L'eau chaude peut mettre un peu de temps avant d'arriver, la moquette gagnerait à être remplacée pour améliorer la prestation, tout comme la fenêtre simple vitrage des toilettes pour limiter la fuite d'isolation que cela apporte. Rien de rédhibitoire dans tout cela, globalement l'experience à été bonne. Le petit déjeuner propose une gamme globalement variée sucrée comme salée dans une grande salle du RDC, pas de cave dans cet hotel. Proximité de la gare et des transports, parfait donc!

Very friendly, very clean, love it

Un hotel confortable à proximité des transports et dans un environnement relativement proche des grandes zones d'intérêt. Un service et des prestation qualitatives dans l'ensemble. Quelques petites améliorations : - remplacement de la moquette (tâches de javel?), - passage en double vitrage dans les toilettes, - révision du plancher du couloir du 4eme étage qui bloque la porte de l'ascenseur l'empêchant de redescendre - parfois l'insonorisation de certains murs Dans son ensemble lorsque les clients autours sont respectueux, il n'y a pas le moindre soucis, pas même de bruit provenant de la rue ! Agréable, si l'opportunité se représente je reviendrai!

J’ai passé deux nuits dans cet hôtel dans le cadre d’un déplacement professionnel à l’Institut de la Vision, situé à deux pas. L’emplacement est parfait si vous avez des rendez-vous dans le quartier : proche de Bastille, Gare de Lyon et bien desservi par les transports. La chambre était propre, calme et bien équipée, idéale pour se reposer après une journée de travail. Le personnel était accueillant et professionnel. Mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner, varié et servi dans une salle agréable. Un bon rapport qualité/prix pour un séjour professionnel. Je reviendrai sans hésiter lors de mes prochaines missions dans le secteur.

This was a great last minute find for us after our vacation rental cancelled the morning of our trip. The hotel was cute and clean and the staff, available 24-7, were gentle and nice. When we asked about the possibility of switching to a different room, since ours was very small, they let us go look at the available alternative. We ultimately decided to keep our room and make the best of it. We had already settled in and by then it felt like ours. The view from our window was looking down to a cute street Rue d'Austerlitz and the main street Rue de Lyon. The bathroom only had a glass half panel and no curtain, but the bathtub was huge and made for a great relaxing bubble bath experience. The room and bedding were very clean. We had tv and wifi without issues. The elevator was cute and tiny, but there were stairs, and since it's Paris, well, what's another 5 flights? Also, they were a bit stingy with the bath towels. I don't think we got the additional towels we requested, but not a deal breaker at all. It actually ended up being a great location, close Gare de Lyon, several metro stops, walking distance to Place de la Bastille, and restaurants including L'Étincelle, which was open late thankfully, and the service like most we experienced was excellent. Just below us was La Parisienne boulangerie. We stopped there every morning for coffee and croissants and other pastries. We also had baguette sandwiches there for lunch one day. Overall I would recommend 9Hotel Bastille-Lyon.

Really great front desk service. Always had someone there. Hotel was very clean and prompt. Only thing I did not like was that it is noisy. You can hear your neighbors in other rooms because the walls are not thick.

The room was small, but satisfactory and really sweetly designed… We did have a little bit of an issue in the shower area getting out of the tub safely… We loved the common area and little bites of food available to us… We really loved our check in monsieur ~ he was so very kind to us~ we also loved the area and easy walking distance to Boulangerie Bo, and other local restaurants as well as quick walking distance to Gare de Lyon, Rue de Cremieux and even a kind veggie shop at the corner! We were only there one night, but we were very cozy and we would definitely stay here again. Merci beaucouo

Great value room in good neighbourhood. Balcony was a great addition. Elevator, room, bathroom are space efficient.

Clean room. Nice view. Bring a washcloth or something to wash your body. And my room did not have outlets near the bed. Otherwise, loved the location and the staff were very nice!

The room was incredibly small; the bed took up most of the space. There was almost no storage space.

Very disappointing stay in a chain I usually prefer, more so as the price was at a premium. While the decor is standard 9Hotel, our room was too small (even for Paris - should have been sold as a single), had no ventilation apart from wide-opening the window to the (major) street, had no hot water and when we reported were mansplained by the staff - twice - instead of fixing it. The room also had no hang space apart from at waist height under a shelf and nowhere to hang a wet outdoor coat and the only power point was under the fire alarm so making tea set it off. Dreadful room (#49), avoid at all costs.

Top location to amenities and rail station ; highly friendly and professional staff

Last minute booking. Great for the price. The member of staff was obnoxious and rude though. Would stay again if not for him.

Very nice place to stay. I was there 3 nights. The staff were very helpful and very nice to deal with especiallyRuth. The place is well kept and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. It's in a good neighborhood with lots to do around the area.

Lovely room and clean cute hotel! If needing a place to stay near the train station great spot! The surrounding area is very dirty and unclean… not a great part of Paris! The breakfast was just ok… not great!

Clean, nice hotel. Location is quiet, 30 minutes walk from Notre dame, and then 1.5 hours from Eiffel. Overall, we loved it, wished we had figured out the bikes though!

Mein zweiter Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel. Sehr ruhig in den Zimmern. Wir hatten das Superior-Doppelzimmer, dieses war geräumig und sehr schön, gemptluch eingerichtet. Nichts zu bemängeln. Lage des Hotel ist perfekt, wenn man mit dem TGV am Gare de Lyon ankommt/abfährt.

Perfekt gelegenes kleines Hotel (wenn man mit dem TGV im Gare de Lyon ankommt). Der Lift fordert die Geduld heraus aber ansonsten war ich sehr zufrieden. Ich hatte ein Superior Zimmer, das recht grosszügig war für mich alleine. Sie bieten sogar glutenfreies Frühstück an, diesen muss aber im Voraus bestellt werden und ist etwas teurer als das reguläre Frühstück.

2 lit simple collé ne font pas un lit double Etre au 5 eme sans ascenseur car le personel le bloque ... Les prises (2) une dans la salle de bain une sous la télé loin du lit pratique pour recharger le téléphone et avoir un réveil efficace (spoiler mon téléphone n'as pas chargé j'ai loupé mon train ) Le petit déjeuner qui n'est pas fameux en terme de gout mais cela passe par contre avoir des oeuf du pain et du jamabon j'apelle pas cela un buffet la partie viennoiserie etc... était vide pendant 30 min cela a été remplit lorsque je partais super !

This hotel, located very close to Gare de Lyon, was a great choice for my short stay in Paris. My superior room was a nice size and very clean. The room was quiet. And the breakfast buffet provided a nice selection of dishes. The bathroom was very small, as is so often the case in French hotel, but functional. One weaker point: not a single electric outlet next to the bed to recharge phones and watches.

Stayed here during a weekend trip to Paris with my daughter. The room was nice and clean. Perfect for one or two guests but too small for more. Air conditioning worked well and is a must for Paris in August. The area was perfect. Close to the train station but also close enough to walk to the sites. 20-30 minute walk to Notre Dame, for example. Breakfast was well priced for what is provided. Eggs, yogurt, bread, cheese, tea, coffee, musli, etc. Staff were very friendly!
