Lucky Arrow Retreat - Dripping Springs

Nice & relaxing! Website needs more info on what to bring and what is provided. Yurt was nice with comfortable bed. Nice soft towels and robes provided. No storage in ottoman and night stands which would have been nice to keep room more relaxing and less cluttered. We brought wood for fire pit but they supplied it. But only 2 Yurts have fire pits so I guess we got lucky with one. Coffee maker uses pods which i would have known to bring my favorites. Provided pods (were okay) cups, creamer, water, cane sugar and 2 makeup remover towelettes. Yeti cooler was nice but small. We brought a cooler just in case. Records supplied are songs never heard of so bring your own. The pools are nice, lots of lounge chairs with umbrellas. Two pools, family and adults only. The game area has shuffle board, jenga, 4 across, board games and old video arcade games (cost $.50 and should be free) and bar lounging area real nice. Both areas do not have any overhead fans only 1 wall fan and it was too hot to stay longer than 15 minutes. Would have enjoyed these areas more so that was a disappointment. Bathhouse is real nice. Hot showers with amenties. Plenty of towels there and around pool. Loved all the tree swings, lounging areas, jeep and entrance sign! Saw a few deer that quickly hopped fence to winery next door. Several restaurants located not too far. We were only here for 2 nights. Overall recommend and would stay a little longer if not too hot.

We had a great time on our vacation. We went the first week after most schools started and figured that there wouldnt be as many people as normal. We were the only ones there. Due to this the staff was on a skeleton crew so the Beer Garden bar was closed, the restraunt was closed, unable to do the Axe throwing. I really felt like we should have got a reduced rate after paying almost 300 a night and basically only had the cabin with none other advertised amenities. Having said that, the staff that was there was AMAZING and we appreciate how friendly they were.

A great little escape. This is a great property and we had a fun ‘escape’. We stayed in one of the yurts for two nights and it was great. The AC worked very well and there are a lot of fun things to do on the property and in the area. We really enjoyed the pool and longing there. The property looks just as good as the photos!

This place is amazing! You never want to leave. The adults only pool, the little walking trail, the beautiful room and hot tubs, this place has it all! Can't wait to return!

I can't say enough about this place. One of the most relaxing weekends I can remember. I stayed in a Yurt and everything was as pictured and described, if not better. Staff was super friendly and the facilities were spectacular. Can't wait to return.

Cute little cabin with an awesome breeze way and private hot tub we didn’t get to check out the pool or beer garden because there was a large group who I guess rented them they definitely need more coffee in the room and I wish there was a way to lock the breezeway doors because of the shared bathroom but we will be back

Great place for large group to have separate accommodations but to all be together, or just come as a couple. Fire pits were nice, wood restocked daily. Private hot tub steps from my “cabin”. 2 large pools with cabanas were cool, one family and one adult pool. Bar with axe growing cages and other bar games was a nice treat. And there is a beautiful rentable venue with rooftop deck if you had a wedding or anniversary party. Pictures really don’t do the place justice. This is an hidden gem for sure! And the best part is you can walk thru a gate and walk right to Bell Springs Winery & Brewery next door. Staff was excellent and accommodating to every need. We will be back.

Slept so well with room darkening curtains and good AC! Walkable path to winery next door!! Will come here again!!!

Everything was great. Both hot tubs were not very hot. After sitting in the hot tub for 15-20 minutes it started cooling off

It was clean and cute, but the room was pretty basic. Got a cooler with ice in case we got something that needed to be cold. Stayed in one of the tent rooms, so don't know how the "fancy" ones are. The community center was closed at night, as well as the front desk, so consider that there's nothing close if you need anything.

Our stay was great! The ground was well kept and we had everything we needed! We came for the 4th of July grilled, swam and made smores! The bed was firm which I loved but I know is not for everyone. Amazing swim and bar area as well, would go again!

Also , my husband and I decided to go for a cruise to a close winery maybe like a five minute away drive and we also found a bar and another little location had live music and had drinks available.

So to start with the yurt it was supposed to have a mini fridge and a microwave and had neither and there is no food out there. They were nice enough to keep some of my food in their fridge at reception BUT naturally they only have limited opening hours so like for a later dinner I wound up having to drive 20 minutes out to Whataburger. I think they also need to get some more restrooms that are closer. As for the pool it was lovely but you weren't allowed to use the Cabanas unless you paid $250 which just kind of gave me a bad nickel and diming vibe. They also only have hot tubs with their more expensive options the cabins which is disappointing. It was still a nice day but 175 a night for something that doesn't have a bathroom mini fridge or anything is kind of crazy

The cabin layout was nice and modern and the hot tub was convenient having it right outside. Lack of restaurant being staffed was somewhat disappointing but otherwise would highly recommend

Would stay again but perhaps on the weekend or over the summer when it's a bit busier.

Post graduation retreat. This place was perfect. We stayed in breezeway with 4. Very comfortable. Incredible views and wildlife. The pools and amenities were top. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom very modern. Note….No tv but excellent internet and cell.

Friendly and helpful reception, beautiful cabins, great recreational facilities. Highly recommend for a getaway n beautiful surroundings!

The pool area was absolutely gorgeous, grounds were beautiful near the office, I loved how we kind of felt like we were camping but then at a high end resort while at the pool. I wish we would have had more time to try the ax throwing. Service was impeccable and friendly. This would be the perfect location for a destination wedding as long as guests had rental cars to go grab food/drinks.

The property is cute. Stayed in the courtyard cabins. Loved the decor. The staff was friendly. I’d definitely come back.

Very unique rentals! Quiet and relaxing! Off the beaten path, exactly what we wanted!

We had a wonderful family getaway at Lucky Arrow Retreat! A quick and easy trip outside of Austin, it felt like the perfect balance of nature and relaxation. The setting is peaceful, with plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Our family loved spending time at the pool with munchies and cocktails and playing games together—our Jenga competition was a highlight! The cabins are very comfortable and well thought out, and the property is right next door to Bell Springs Winery, which made for a fun live-music and sipping. Lucky Arrow is a great spot for families looking to unwind, reconnect, and enjoy the Texas Hill Country!

Property was perfect. We did a staycation for my birthday and I can’t wait to do it again. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The walk ability to the winery / brewery was great bonus! (Food orders stop at 6:20pm-plan according). Pool was busy Saturday but much calmer Sunday. Book it! You’re welcome.

outdoor areas are walkable and unique choices to make for lodging. Winery is walkable. There are no dislikes, but I might suggest some nice landscaping be added an added to the natural landscaping.
