We had one night here at the end of our trip and the hotel was walking-distance from a lot of shopping that we wanted to do. The room was a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was fine for the one night, especially at a hotel in the center of Paris! There were stairs to get into the hotel but once inside, there was an elevator to get up to our room with luggage.

Perfect stay for our last few nights in Paris before travelling back to Aus. Staff were friendly and helpful. The private airport transfer is easy for travellers with multiple large suitcases. Location was perfect and hope to be back soon

I liked the areas around the hotel when it came to shopping, Place Vendôme and many other stores are a quick walk from the hotel, as well as the US Embassy. It was a safe area. When it came to the hotel, 1 male at the front desk was quite rude. Not sure if it was his personality or us being American. There’s not many amenities so not sure what I was rating. The double doors that blocked the rooms view from the shower wouldn’t close right so if you’re not a couple, beware.

Excellent hotel to stay in while in Paris. Great location close to shopping, attractions, and restaurants. The hotel is very beautiful and quiet. Reception arranged pickup for us to and from the airport. Both drivers were excellent and on time.

The menu variety is not as good compared to some other hotels of the same ranking. Very walkable to Louvre museum, d'Orsay musium and great department store for shopping The room is clean and looks like there were not enough staff working. I have to take my luggages to walk up the stairs when checking in

파리 일정이 길지 않아 무조건 접근성이 좋은 호텔로 찾다가 예약하게 되었는데 리모델링한지 얼마 되지 않아서 그런지 아주 깔끔하고 디자인도 고급스러웠습니다. 다만 근처 건물의 공사 소음이 하루종일 너무 심했고, 엘리베이터 고장으로 짐을 옮기는게 좀 힘들었습니다.(직원분이 도와주시긴 했습니다)

The hotel is older and quaint. Location was great but staff wasn't friendly. The elevator was out, and our room was on the sixth floor - the stairs are narrow and uneven. Would not book with them again unless elevator was working.

Hôtel Opéra Richepanse is a miserable little hotel. I booked a so-called “deluxe” room and was put on the first floor with a green pharmacy light shining straight into the window. If you have no need to spend your money wisely, this is the place for you! Let me tell you what you can expect: 1 - a ridiculous survey sent before your stay which asks if you want a robe, ironing equipment and shower accessories which are provided regardless of your answer (what’s the point?!), 2 - the tremendous roar of the metro moving directly under the hotel every 15 minutes or so which will make you wonder if there’s a terrible thunder storm or an earthquake, 3 - a “rainfall” shower in the bathtub that requires bending over to get under thr water flow unless you are less than 1.5 meters tall. Did I mention the fact that the smell of sewage from the tub drain permeated the room and my entire experience? Now I have. Never again! At check out they had the nerve to say I should have contacted reception earlier with my complaints. To what end? Can you fire the management?

There is a train under the hotel passing every 5 minutes. The building is shaking! Walls are made of carton so you can hear the tv next room like if it was in your room. Windows are very old so you hear everything outside. We told the front desk and their answer was: you know Paris is a big city…! I would never recommend this hotel. Very disappointed. It was our honeymoon and for the price paid, it is insulting!

We had an amazing stay here. Location is so excellent. We stayed at this hotel once before in 2022. We had the classic room which we found to be too small. This time around we went for larger rooms and the were perfect. We definitely go back in the future.

Highly recommend this hotel due to its great location in an area of excellent shopping, sites close by and great choice of restaurants. The property is very well maintained and clean but the highest tribute must go it’s friendly and efficient staff.

The experience started poorly as we arrived at the hotel. Before we even flew, the hotel messaged to ask when we would be arriving. I gave an estimate of around 10 am arrival. We knew that our room most likely wouldn’t be ready, which was completely fine with us. Our flight happened to be delayed, plus the traffic, we didn’t get to the hotel till around 11:30 am. Upon arrival they said to us that if we pay €30 extra, they could have the room ready in 15, 20 min. I was appalled by this request. This meant that our room was already vacant, and they could and had the resource to clean it, but would only do it if we paid more. Where’s the customer service? Aside from this, if you sleep in, and decide to leave your hotel room late, at around 3pm, don’t expect them to clean your room or refreshen your room without getting a passive aggressive email stating that their housekeeping service is from the morning till 4PM. Yes, you read that right, we left at 3, and while the service is till 4PM, they stated in the email that they won’t clean our room. I’ve never had this problem at any of the hotels that I stayed at. Pro: very convenient Cons: can hear the subway line from underground. The air conditioner doesn’t work properly, super hot with no way of turning it down.

Stayed here for our 40th anniversary! Excellent hotel with professional staff that do everything to ensure your stay is memorable. Central location which is walkable to Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde & access to 3 main subway lines that get you to all the great attractions & neighbourhoods of Paris. Great local bistros steps away from hotel which treated us like family. Located in high end shopping area of St. Honore. You will love staying here!

Our room was clean and a good size by European standards. We tried a few restaurants nearby that were delicious. The hotel didn’t provide any VIB benefit like Expedia promised, but the hotel staff was very nice. The morning breakfast was great too.

The hotel and the room was updated to current standard even though it was built in the early 1800's. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area was like being in Beverly Hills without any safety concerns at all. We had dinner one night and dessert and coffee another at the Brassiere that adjoins the hotel and the food there was the best we had in our 4 days in Paris. Highly recommended.

This little gem was wonderful. The service was excellent. The restaurant recommendations were spot on. The rooms are spacious for European standards. Beds amazingly comfortable. I will come back! Location is perfect to walk anywhere. Metro stop 200 m away at Madeleine. Highly recommend!
