While I love staying here and the staff has always been gracious, I forgot my diamond earrings on the night table by my bed and when I got back from my excursion they were gone. The hotel manager on duty said that I should have used the safe. I obviously always utilize the safe, however, I forgot to put them on so how could I? It's a shame that a hotel of this caliber, would actually tell me that unless I put items in the safe, i basically should expect to not find them when i get back. Hopefully that doesn't include my suitcases, as obviously they don't fit it safe. Just beware.
