When we arrived we where informed that the hotel was under massive renovations and the bottom 2 floors where totally gutted and stuff layed about everywhere. Work started at about 8 in the morning so we didnt really get a sleep in as sanding and drilling started straight away. Couldnt open the window because of scaffolding outside with workers on and dust would get in. Hotel room was lovely but alot of dust about because works. Staff are lovely but we need to be informed beforehand that this was the case

We found this place unexpectedly, and what a treat!!! The staff is so kind, we felt very welcome. It is definitely worth buying the breakfast buffet!!! The TV only has French options mostly but who is in Paris to watch TV!? The decor was beautiful and the new bar was lovely. The area was very alive, great for those looking for some good nights out. Try the Chinese food place Qiao Jiang Nan, about a 10 minute walk :) Overall lovely, and we thank them for a great experience

Hotel is located in a great area, walkable distance to shopping, dining and transportation. The hotel and rooms have been recently renovated and are fantastic - we stayed in a family room for 3 people. The elevator is small, it can only carry 2-3 persons at a time, definitely an interesting experience but it worked nonetheless. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to assist any of our needs during our visit to Paris.

I’ve booked many holidays through Expedia and have usually been very satisfied, but unfortunately our stay at Hotel Brittany Opéra in Paris was disappointing. Breakfast was included in our booking, but when we arrived we were told it would not be provided at all due to building works. This was only communicated at check-in, despite breakfast being one of the reasons we booked. The refund for the breakfasts was processed by Expedia, not the hotel, who failed to take responsibility. Our room on the 7th floor had scaffolding immediately outside the window, with workers present. We had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. The building works caused loud hammering and drilling, starting as early as 8:30am and continuing until after 9:30pm. We complained to Reception, but the noise continued for another 20 minutes that night and resumed early the next morning. The location is convenient and the room itself was fine (if a little cramped), but the lack of transparency about the scale and timing of works, plus the removal of breakfast without advance warning, made this stay very disappointing.

I was not advised that this hotel would be under construction during my week long stay. The small hotel would be lovely under normal circumstances, but instead it was a full fledged construction zone. The daily noise was so loud with jack hammers and other equipment. The entire lobby was filled with white construction dust. The bar did not exist. There was no breakfast "buffet" -we were offered some options which included microwaved eggs and small fruit salad. The regular staff were very nice and they were apologetic about the situation. They felt it was unfair for the management to be selling rooms in a hotel that was unsafe and unhealthy. The managers were defensive and said that they had advised all of us about the construction - this was untrue. I asked for some compensation and they refused. One day I returned to the hotel to find the workman painting along the hall of the floor of my room. My room smelled like fresh paint. I opened the window and asked for a blanket, which the staff brought me - it was dirty. Then, they brought two sheets, which didn't help. I was moved up to a higher floor the next day after a freezing night in a hotel for which I paid a high daily rate. This is a warning to future guests to avoid this hotel. I am sure it will be wonderful when the remodeling is finished. But right now it is unsafe and unhealthy to stay there. Management should be ashamed that they are putting profits before the health and safety of guests. We desreved better!

Great location! Everything is very easy to access and there are lovely cafes nearby. However, the hotel is under renovation and we were not aware when we arrived to stay. It will be a lovely boutique hotel when finished, but the workers for the renovation outside our window in morning was not ideal.

Fabulous hotel. Easy to get to from Gare du Nord, walking distance to everything you need. Great restaurants and cafes nearby. Staff incredibly helpful and welcoming. We stayed in a “space” room - three adults. Was roomy by European standards. Great amenities, great bathroom. Super cofmortable beds. Pull out sofa was also very comfortable. Good coffee shop on the corner - Blondie. Shame the cocktail bar attached appeared dysfunct. We did not use the breakfast facilities. Would recommend and would definitely stay again if i was lucky enough to be returning to Paris.

Séjour extrêmement décevant... Réservation pour 2 nuits lors d'un weekend sur Paris, j'ai réservé cet hôtel. Mais quelle surprise d'arriver dans un hôtel en travaux ce qui n'était pas mentionné lors de ma réservation. - Réveil le samedi matin par les bruits des ouvriers à 8h. - La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas. - La télé fonctionnait que partiellement. - La chambre était très poussiéreuse. Je ne reproche pas le fait que l'hôtel soit en travaux mais le fait que cela ne soit pas mentionné lors de la réservation au vu des nuisances subis. Mais le pire a été la réponse du personnel et de la direction. - Pour la climatisation "désolé mais elle ne fonctionne pas et nous ne prêtons pas de ventilateurs" - Pour la télé "on va regarder ça" mais rien n'a été fait. - Pour la nuisance des travaux "Dimanche matin les ouvriers ne travaillent pas vous ne serez pas dérangé". Aucune remise ou geste commercial de proposé en dédommagement. Pour l'accueil et la prise en compte des réclamations je déconseille cet établissement qui ne fera rien pour vous si vous rencontrez un incident... Il ne faut pas s'étonner que de nombreux voyageurs préfèrent un Airbnb car payer pour un service d'hôtellerie qui est inexistant autant s'en passer.

Die Umgebung ist belebt mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Gute Anbindung an den Nahverkehr.Das Zimmer war leider nicht so sauber mit fremden Haaren und Staub auf den Bettlaken. Im Zimmer befand sich leider kein Kühlschrank, wie man es sonst gewöhnt ist um wenigstens einen Joghurt reinzustellen oder was aus der Minibar zu trinken. Der Safe auf dem Zimmer war defekt und wurde trotz Nachfrage bei der jungen Dame an der Rezeption nicht repariert. Es hat sich niemand gemeldet, dass es nicht möglich ist oder z. Beispiel einen Zimmertausch angeboten. Da ich genervt war und bald abreiste habe ich davon abgesehen mich erneut zu melden.

The hotel is nice, it has been nicely decorated, the staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is tasty, specially the scrambled eggs and the confit tomatoes. The beds are comfortable and clean. The hotel is very well located, close to metro stations and to nice restaurants, cafes and shops. My only negative comments refers to the cleanliness of the carpet and the bathroom. The carpet had stains, and the bathroom needed a deep cleaning. It is evident that everyday cleaning happens, as the bathroom looks clean at a first glance, but more hours (than everyday cleaning) are needed to scrub corners of the shower cubicle and tiles.

For a short, inexpensive stay in Paris this is a good hotel. The cleanliness could have been better and this is a budget hotel; it is a bit rough around the edges. Our bed was very firm but comfortable enough. They provided a fan which was needed during an unseasonal heatwave. The location is good but a bit noisy if you’re on the street side of the hotel as there’s a few restaurants opposite. It’s an hours walk down to the river and main attractions but right by a metro station which was handy. The lady on reception is wonderful, incredibly helpful and speaks excellent English which was great as our French is lacking! She is very knowledgeable and gave great guidance for a few queries we had. We enjoyed our stay and felt we had good value for money.

Easy to find, lovely welcome from David on reception and all staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Beautiful clean room with L’Occataine toiletries and fresh water daily. Breakfast well worth 14E. Bed was comfortable and we felt safe throughout our stay with our lovely comfy room to come back to. Nice places to eat locally but no so much with a fussy teenager!! We managed to travel around easily on foot and by Metro and had a wonderful trip many thanks to Brittany hotel!

Hotel is located in a great area, walkable distance to shopping, dining and transportation. The hotel and rooms have been recently renovated and are fantastic - we stayed in a family room for 3 people. The elevator is small, it can only carry 2-3 persons at a time, definitely an interesting experience but it worked nonetheless. The staff was extremely friendly and willing to assist any of our needs during our visit to Paris.

Lots of character in this hotel. The room is tight but my girlfriend loved its eccentric vibe. The toilet is tight against the shower, but otherwise the bathroom is great. There was a nice little balcony that was very nice as well. The only cons were the mattress was a little worn out and there was no fridge. The area around the hotel was amazing for restaurants - so many great options and each one a very unique cuisine and style.

I was spending over an hour trying to figoure out how the WiFi/chromecast situation worked and followed all the instructions- only to find out that the network was not working. And as my French is not the best, I had no option - so it made the entire stay quite useless for me

Room very small and no fridge, no milk or cream for tea. Connection to TV didn’t work. Generally the above are not essentials however all of the above are kind of aspected for this price.

La décoration est très jolie et récente et le personnel vraiment sympathique ( sauf au petit déjeuner). Mais gros problèmes de structure : la salle de bains n’a pas de chauffage et il y fait très froid. La réception répond qu’elle a déjà distribué les chauffages d’appoint aux autres chambres !!! Pour finir, le gardien de nuit trouve un vieux radiateur électrique sans pieds, mais très acrobatique et peu secure. Les chambres sont peu chauffées, et peu insonorisées: nous avons dû demandé à la chambre d’à côté de baisser la tu, et rien de leur intimité ne nous a été épargné. Les chambres donnant sur la cour sont en fait bruyantes car s’y trouve une soufflerie. Enfin, le petite déjeuner n’est pas rempli au fur et à mesure: à 8.30: plus de bain, plus de beurre. Le beurre qu’on m’a finalement fourni était rance. Très déçue de cet établissement malgré une deco soignée et en un personnel d’accueil aux petits soins

- there was an ongoing renovation during our stay that we weren't told about - no air conditioner available for the whole duration of our stay - the toilet stinks so bad.. like a rotten mouse - the breakfast isn't really a buffet/ unlimited - the lift was so tiny.. can only fit two people or a person and a luggage - no toilet by the reception - only one good thing, the young receptionist who welcomed us was very polite and accommodating!

I’ve booked many holidays through Expedia and have usually been very satisfied, but unfortunately our stay at Hotel Brittany Opéra in Paris was disappointing. Breakfast was included in our booking, but when we arrived we were told it would not be provided at all due to building works. This was only communicated at check-in, despite breakfast being one of the reasons we booked. The refund for the breakfasts was processed by Expedia, not the hotel, who failed to take responsibility. Our room on the 7th floor had scaffolding immediately outside the window, with workers present. We had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. The building works caused loud hammering and drilling, starting as early as 8:30am and continuing until after 9:30pm. We complained to Reception, but the noise continued for another 20 minutes that night and resumed early the next morning. The location is convenient and the room itself was fine (if a little cramped), but the lack of transparency about the scale and timing of works, plus the removal of breakfast without advance warning, made this stay very disappointing.

Wow our stay here was incredible! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Everyone in the hotel spoke English which was not expected but definitely a plus. The location was great, very close to metro. I forgot to book an extra day and they were expecting my room for someone else, they called me very politely to tell me my things were still there and helped me find a new room somewhere else because they were fully booked for the night. They even accommodated transportation offering various routes, helped me gather my items. The bartender Amelie was also so friendly and helpful during our stay, she got us a reservation to a restaurant that was fully booked. She gave us tips on places to visit and helped me figure out the metro (I had never used the metro before) all while serving delicious cocktails! I will definitely return to this hotel. 10/10 recommend!

Easy to find, lovely welcome from David on reception and all staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Beautiful clean room with L’Occataine toiletries and fresh water daily. Breakfast well worth 14E. Bed was comfortable and we felt safe throughout our stay with our lovely comfy room to come back to. Nice places to eat locally but no so much with a fussy teenager!! We managed to travel around easily on foot and by Metro and had a wonderful trip many thanks to Brittany hotel!

I was not advised that this hotel would be under construction during my week long stay. The small hotel would be lovely under normal circumstances, but instead it was a full fledged construction zone. The daily noise was so loud with jack hammers and other equipment. The entire lobby was filled with white construction dust. The bar did not exist. There was no breakfast "buffet" -we were offered some options which included microwaved eggs and small fruit salad. The regular staff were very nice and they were apologetic about the situation. They felt it was unfair for the management to be selling rooms in a hotel that was unsafe and unhealthy. The managers were defensive and said that they had advised all of us about the construction - this was untrue. I asked for some compensation and they refused. One day I returned to the hotel to find the workman painting along the hall of the floor of my room. My room smelled like fresh paint. I opened the window and asked for a blanket, which the staff brought me - it was dirty. Then, they brought two sheets, which didn't help. I was moved up to a higher floor the next day after a freezing night in a hotel for which I paid a high daily rate. This is a warning to future guests to avoid this hotel. I am sure it will be wonderful when the remodeling is finished. But right now it is unsafe and unhealthy to stay there. Management should be ashamed that they are putting profits before the health and safety of guests. We desreved better!

Was supposed to stay here for NYE. Showed up to be told they did not have a room for us. Apparently they were having issues with a pipe. What was frustrating is we were told they new about this before hand but made no attempt to contact us to let us know. They tried to offer my fiancé and I a single bed, no way we would fit. I asked to be moved to another hotel. They had nothing lined up so this was going to take time. We had to go to make a dinner reservation but they said they would call and let us know where they moved us. They never called. Front desk associate at 2am when we returned had no idea what was going on. They did get us transferred but since they didn't call and arrange beforehand this lead us to dragging our suitcases (no cabs on NYE) through the streets at 2am 20 minutes to a new hotel. Honestly they whole experience ruined out NYE.

Nous avons fortement apprécié l’esthétique de l’hôtel ainsi que la propreté et le calme de notre chambre donnant sur cour. A proximité immédiate de Montmartre, l’occasion est parfaite pour assister au spectacle grandiose du moulin rouge (se terminant tard, rentrer à pieds à l’hôtel ne pose aucun soucis), je vous le recommande vivement !

Rent och fräscht, trevlig personal med god engelska kunskap. Bodde på våning 4 och det var inte lyhört mot korridor eller andra rum, då hördes trafiken en hel del vilket störde sömnen. Åtgärdades med öronproppar. Jag hade kunnat bo här igen!

The hotel is in an amazing location, with a lot of restaurants around it and accessible transportation. I reckon I walked most places as it is that well located, and I will definitely come back for my next trip to Paris. The staff was lovely, the rooms were perfect for a short stay (small, but with the bathroom/shower separate, which has become rare for this price in Paris). Overall I would totally recommend.

For a short, inexpensive stay in Paris this is a good hotel. The cleanliness could have been better and this is a budget hotel; it is a bit rough around the edges. Our bed was very firm but comfortable enough. They provided a fan which was needed during an unseasonal heatwave. The location is good but a bit noisy if you’re on the street side of the hotel as there’s a few restaurants opposite. It’s an hours walk down to the river and main attractions but right by a metro station which was handy. The lady on reception is wonderful, incredibly helpful and speaks excellent English which was great as our French is lacking! She is very knowledgeable and gave great guidance for a few queries we had. We enjoyed our stay and felt we had good value for money.

Fantastic small boutique hotel in a great location. 1 minute to Notre-Dame-de-Lorette metro station. Great range of cafes and restaurants around the immediate area. The room was a reasonable sized double. You're are only there to sleep etc, so this was fine with me. I would definitely stay here again.

Struttura rinnovata di recente, camera ampia, molto bella e con una bellissima vista, Personale molto gentile e molto disponibile. A 15 minuti a piedi dall’Opera Garnier, perfetto ci torneremo sicuramente.

One day I returned to the hotel to find the workman painting along the hall of the floor of my room. My room smelled like fresh paint. I opened the window and asked for a blanket, which the staff brought me - it was dirty. Then, they brought two sheets, which didn't help. I was moved up to a higher floor the next day after a freezing night in a hotel for which I paid a high daily rate. This is a warning to future guests to avoid this hotel. I am sure it will be wonderful when the remodeling is finished. But right now it is unsafe and unhealthy to stay there. Management should be ashamed that they are putting profits before the health and safety of guests. We desreved better!

La décoration est très jolie et récente et le personnel vraiment sympathique ( sauf au petit déjeuner). Mais gros problèmes de structure : la salle de bains n’a pas de chauffage et il y fait très froid. La réception répond qu’elle a déjà distribué les chauffages d’appoint aux autres chambres !!! Pour finir, le gardien de nuit trouve un vieux radiateur électrique sans pieds, mais très acrobatique et peu secure. Les chambres sont peu chauffées, et peu insonorisées: nous avons dû demandé à la chambre d’à côté de baisser la tu, et rien de leur intimité ne nous a été épargné. Les chambres donnant sur la cour sont en fait bruyantes car s’y trouve une soufflerie. Enfin, le petite déjeuner n’est pas rempli au fur et à mesure: à 8.30: plus de bain, plus de beurre. Le beurre qu’on m’a finalement fourni était rance. Très déçue de cet établissement malgré une deco soignée et en un personnel d’accueil aux petits soins

Amei a experiência no Brittany. Passamos 5 dias no total, a localização é excelente, perto de vários pontos de transporte, o café da manhã é delicioso, a decoração do hotel é chique e bem cuidada. Staff amigável. Recomendo muito!

Aucune mention que les lieux sont en travaux actuellement. Accessibilité difficile, échafaudage à même la fenêtre de notre chambre avec la présence de travailleurs le matin, option petit-déjeuner annulée pour cause de travaux, impossible de connecter notre téléphone au téléviseur pour visionner nos applications télévisuelles, YouTube installé mais non fonctionnel dans le téléviseur, siège de toilette mal positionné.

Lovely stay — my twin room was clean and quiet and cute, and I liked the L’Occitaine products in the bathroom and Nespresso machine for an additional caffeine boost each day. The breakfast was nice, I added it since it was very inexpensive, but it’s really not necessary since there were many cute coffee shops in the immediate area. I would definitely stay again!

If you love cappuccinos this is the place for you :) Kevin and Natalie were so kind especially Natalie, we appreciated her care for guests. Location is perfect, so many restaurants around and it’s walking distances to so many beautiful places. Only uneventful experience was with Messifa, had a very bad attitude for the two days we saw her in the kitchen, very rude to us, and was telling us how to stand while we were grabbing water. She really put a damp on our hotel stay and turned our stay there a bit negative. Thank you Natalie for making our stay great there , without you, I don’t think we would stay there again.
