The reception staff were nice and helpful, but unfortunately the room was unbelievably small — much smaller than it looked in the photos. It was almost impossible to move around comfortably with luggage. We also noticed ants crawling on the floor during our stay.Another strange thing was their “security policy”: every time you leave the hotel, you are expected to leave your room key at the reception desk. It felt outdated and inconvenient rather than secure. Overall, the hotel did not match the expectations created by the photos online.

This quaint hotel is staffed with very friendly and helpful people. Everyone was great. It’s surrounded by mostly Asian restaurants, a detail that I wish I had known. It’s an older hotel that needs a bit of TLC cosmetically. But it had everything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. There is a Boulangerie across the street with breakfast croissants, pastries, and simple baguette sandwiches : helpful for those mornings you just need food to get started. There’s also a little neighborhood market a block away for fresh fruit or wine etc.

The 2 twin beds and the sleeper sofa had really firm beds. No pillow top. The bathroom was cleaned very well. The location is right in the heart of lots of Asian food places. We did not have breakfast. The room key stays with hotel and then you pick it up upon your return. The front desk gives you a key and you have to go downstairs in the tiny lift to drop off bags for storage if the room is not ready. Which means you have access to other people’s bags. Scary thought. I would stay here again and just not store my bags.

The photos do not match! The hotel is genuinely in need of renovation. Stepping out of the elevator on the second floor, you could easily fall. The shower hose was broken first first day, so we were unable to take a shower; consequently, the bathtub had not been cleaned either. There was no shampoo. Businesses should operate honestly and issue refunds for services that were not provided; we are entitled to a refund for that one night.
