Hotel Saint Dominique

The hotel is fairly nice but our room was so small that we couldn’t open our suitcases on the floor. There was a bit of mold in the shower. Also the elevator was so small we had to send our luggage up on it’s own as we couldn’t fit one person in with the luggage.

Nice location. Helpful staff. Kettle in the room would be helpful.

Perfect stay as a family of 3 in a triple room, lots of space & big bath bathroom consider we are in Paris with all toiletries supplied, nice towels + linen + bathrope. Fridge with few drinks supplied & replenish everyday, daily room cleaning. Coffee machine with coffee pods supplied. We can see Eiffel Tower if we poke our head out of our room window. There is just a small lift that would fit 2 big suitcases & 2 people, most of the time we use stair when we have no suitcases. You can walk everywhere from here & lots of restaurants around. Love our stay here.

Great location for being close to the Eiffel Tower. The staff was kind. I did end up waiting about 30 minutes to check in due to another guest having a payment issue, the staff was apologetic but perhaps understaffed since I ended up just sitting and waiting in the food lounge that whole time. The front doors locked later at night which made me feel more safe, but there was one night when I came back and the doors were locked, but the staff member inside was asleep. Overall I think this was a wonderful place to stay, they were all very kind, but I did run into some of those unique mishaps.

Tidy.Clean.Great location near Invalides and Eiffel Tower. Front desk not super friendly but got the job done. Comfortable bedding. Daily free beverage and coffee/tea maker. Breakfast for a fee. Nice details and touches in room. Could use a small microwave and outlet converters Choose a higher floor. I was on the ground floor in the back. A little claustrophobic. Overall nice stay ! Would definitely stay again !

Nice little hotel. Steps are too narrow and escalator is too small. Rooms are small but clean and nice.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Huge shower and bathroom. The complimentary espresso and beverages in the room were a nice add on. Breakfast was simple but convenient when heading to the airport. Would definitely stay here again.

The listing needs to be updated to reflect the amenities that they actually have. This hotel does not have bar, a restaurant, a shuttle service, a gift shop, or room service that offers food. When I called to order a yogurt parfait (listed on their room service menu)I was told they had not done food for rooms service in a very long time. They only serve coffee and alcohol via room service. Additionally, the restaurant mentioned in the listing is a €20 subpar continental breakfast that is offered in the mornings only. The rooms are so small that the 2 twins beds are pushed together. There is a toilet inside the shower. Please understand this- you open a door to the bathroom and there is a sink, then you open a shower stall to find a toilet and a shower all in the same area. The toilet paper is habitually soggy b/c it is located inside the shower stall. The walls are thin and you can hear other hotel guest in the rooms next to yours. Every morning I woke up to another hotel guest’s alarm on their phone.

Muy buena ubicación cerca del metro, muchos restaurantes y cafeterías por la zona. Habitación amplia con baño para movilidad reducida. La ducha fantástica, minibar gratis. Máquina de nesspreso, la calefacción funcionaba perfectamente y con productos de ducha e higiene gratis incluido toallas y albornoces excelentes. Habitación silenciosa para dar a un patio comunitario. No entra luz en la habitación. Buena atención por parte del personal. En general para el precio que tiene está muy bien.

So clean, so convenient. Was worried as it was quite a bit cheaper than what I was originally looking at, but after reading the reviews I decided to take a chance. Glad I did, we will be returning again later this year, superb!

My stay at this hotel was disappointing. The room was not properly cleaned and looked nothing like the pictures online. It was also much smaller than expected and not suitable for more than one person. Overall, the experience did not meet my expectations.

Clean room, central location, convenient places to eat

Upon arrival check-in and staff were efficient and took care of us. Room was small but very clean. On day two, we woke up to no air conditioning. Called staff and also went down to the lobby and spoke to them and they verified it was not working and said they would call a repair man. We proceed to leave for the day to sight see. We return back around 6pm and the air conditioning is still not working. We yet again call the lobby and they confirm again, it isn’t working. We leave for dinner and return around 9:30 and the ac is still not working. This went on for two days. On our third night the air conditioner was finally working. At check out I ask the receptionist if we could get compensated for having to sleep two nights with no air conditioning and she told us she had no authority to make this decision to email the hotel. After two emails and almost two weeks have gone by I haven’t received a response from this hotel. I feel I deserve my money back for the two sleepless nights due to no air conditioning. Tammy

Tiny tiny room without any view. Great location and friendly staff.

Hotel St. Dominique was an excellent location for our visit to Paris. Convenient to metro and restaurant locations. Overall, our stay was quite enjoyable. The room was comfortable and provided adequate space for our visit. One thing to note is that Rue St. Dominique is a lively and active street well into the night. If you have issues with street noise, recommend requesting a room not facing the street. We were able to adjust to the noise, so the impact was minimal. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would be happy to repeat a stay at this location.

Very small room, difficult for open window, very expensive for place, nice breakfast

This was a nice location, walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and some museums. The area around had a lot of nice shops and restaurants. The room was small, but that is to be expected in Paris. The one downfall was the toilet was in the shower. So every time you showered you couldn't use the toilet because everything was wet. We had to plan our shower & bathroom schedule which was not fun.

Great air conditioning and nice room

I understand that rooms are small but when it comes to the bathroom since they’re also small the design should be different. It’s understandable that the shower will be small but why not design it enclosed instead of open with only a glass door. When showering the water splashes all the way to the toilet, wets the toilet paper as well. The shower should be closed off.

Room was fine but small. Bathroom had the open shower right in front of the toilet so the floor and the toilet got drenched when we showered. Not convenient at all.

Great location!! Walkable to the Eiffel Tower and you can see it from the property. The rooms are small, but that is standard there. Not the hotels issue at all, but my husband did get jumped in an attempted robbery while walking to the store just down from the hotel. Luckily they just got his shirt and hat and he was able to get away. NOT the hotels issue or even necessarily the location. Just a note to keep your wits about you anywhere in Paris. Other than that…lovely!!

Got an upgrade to a junior suite, it faced the Eiffel tower and was frankly magical. It made our trip and we are forever grateful. The hotel is a small quant hotel, a little rough around the edges and more of a B&B vibe in communal areas, but very cosy rooms which are exceptionally comfortable. Great location with local supermarkets and restaurants.

The staff was very pleasant and the location was great. Our first room was quiet but we did not like it very much and requested a room change. Within the next day, the staff was able to transfer us to a different room that we loved.

Staff was not very helpful when trying to arrange transportation. Room was very cold asked if maintenance check could be done. No one came. Asked for more blankets and the answer we received was they didn’t know where they were and told us to use towels and robes. Overall just not a good experience

Very nice staff; comprehensive breakfast with wonderful coffee

Staff is wonderful and very helpful. The area is lovely with many restaurants, cafes and markets. The hotel is centrally located making it easy to access everywhere on foot. The building is quaint and quirky, with cozy rooms. It is very clean and has everything you might need. we would stay here again.

Stay was absolutely amazing. Our concierge for majority of our stay was so friendly and made us feel safe and welcomed. We as a family are so grateful for the service. When we visit Paris this is the hotel we will be staying at. Close to Eiffel Tower and lots of restaurants, markets, and cafe shops. Merci and we will see you until next time. ❤️

Excellent location and clean hotel!

This was the perfect location for our stay in Paris. We were able to walk to so many locations . Many cafes to pick from . We could see the Eiffel Tower from the front of the hotel and our bathroom window . Although the room was small , it was very cozy n comfy . Breakfast was an added treat .

This is a very unique boutique facility. It was within walking distance of many metro stations, 15 minutes walk from the Eiffel Tower and Napoleon’s tomb. It was close to numerous restaurants, grocery stores , bakeries and a Starbucks. The Boulangerie Patisserie next door has the best croissants. The Toyotaka Japanese restaurant next door was fantastic. We wete at the Bar Du Central on three occasions. Food and staff were all excellent. These 3 locations are within 50 feet of the hotel. The staff at the Hôtel saint Dominque were fantastic and very accommodating. Shout out to Leah who helped us out with a missed excursion. I would call this hotel a boutique hotel. Not all the rooms are the same. We requested a queen size bed ( which is difficult to find) and were provided with a comfortable queen size the bed. In our case, the rest of the room was very unique. There was very little to no room for clothes. Only a small wardrobe was available. The safe would not accommodate the size of a laptop. The bathroom was very clean and sizeable with the exception of the sink which took up the whole counter and the shower that opened into the bathroom and water would spread unless you put down a towel. None of these are showstoppers, but when we glanced into the room next door it was a completely different configuration. Luck of the draw I guess. We stayed for 8 nights , were thoroughly comfortable.

The hôtel is Nice, and the people are very supportive. The location is also nice, next to the Srind and Eiffel Tower.

It’s so accessible to all the attractions, and a lot of restaurants.

Clean room, central location, convenient places to eat

Breakfast staff did not engage to ask our order, probably because they didn’t speak English so we wrote it down on paper and gave it to them but they ignored it and we were left waiting for our eggs and having to engage her in the kitchen.

Fijne kamer met goed groot bed en vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt eerste dag goed alleen weinig zitplaats gelukkig was het goed weer dat we buiten konden zitten. Ontbijt 2e dag heel veel leeg en half uur op ei moeten wachten.

La habitación estaba muy limpia, los empleados son encantadores, la ubicación es ideal y el desayuno está genial! Volveríamos a repetir hotel si viajamos de nuevo a Paris!

Lovely small hotel in a great location. The reception staff were friendly and really helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We had breakfast each morning which was good with fresh fruit salad, good fruit juices breads and pastries. Cooked eggs and bacon were available on request. We were lucky to be given a room upgrade which was great as we had a view of the tower from the room. We slept very well. Despite being on the road we didn’t find the road noisy at night. 10 minutes walk from the tower and central to other attractions. Also close to lots of restaurants.

Hotel was nice, but rooms are very small. The breakfast was very disappointing, but service was great.

The service was excellent and breakfast of high quality ingredients. The room was a little small but the bathroom was ample. The minibar was complementary. I highly recommend this place!

We had an OKAY stay for 3 nights. Our only disappointment was the abysmal breakfast. We needed to go down the street for an espresso with breakfast and bottled water. Location was great though.. restaurant across the street was excellent! However, unfortunately it became noisy when it closed.
