Hotel Ares Eiffel

Not a large room compared to Canadian standards but very comfortable. Close to a school yard & church bells. Could walk to Eiffel Tower, restaurants & a grocery store. Offered afternoon drinks/snacks for waiting 20 min. to check in. Called us a taxi a few times. Has a small elevator. A great intro to our stay in France. Very friendly ❤️

Nice rooms, very close to the metro yet on a quiet street. The La Motte station has 3 metro lines to choose from. Secure parking and laundromat nearby, as well as plenty of restaurants.

It says on site parking and that’s a lie. There is no parking you have to park in a garage under a grocery store and walk back to the hotel. I chose this hotel because it said on site parking and I had a TKR and was disappointed.

Excellent customer service and breakfast along with day time tea service. Very good rooms.

The room was super small, the beds were hard and the elevator broke down with us in it. The rest of the trip, we had to climb 6 flights of stairs to get to and from our room…awful.

Hôtel agréable, le point a été l’absence de place au parking, nous avions réservé cet hôtel pour le parking et nous n’y avons pas eu le droit, une information au sujet du nombre de places limites aurait été la bienvenue. De plus, ceci est un détail mais qui a son importance au vu du prix de la nuit, l’hôtel n’a pas été en capacité de nous fournir du dentifrice lors de la demande. Également, la chambre a été très bruyante (bruit d’évacuation d’eau permanent), et nous entendions notre voisin de palier entrer chez lui.

Ok location at walkable distance from the Eiffel Tower. Less noisy than average Paris and felt safe. Good prices on the mini bar and breakfast options. The room is small but average size for the area. If possible would recommend a different place if traveling more than 2 persons. Only issue I had was with the parking. The best option for covering parking is 2 blocks away in a supper market offering underground parking for 35 euros a day. Apparently there was another option associated with the hotel that was never given to me. This result in very difficult retrieval of the car at 5:30 AM after checking out since parking was otherwise close. Also the staff was very rude upon this issue and start questioning why I did not get the hotel option that was never offered to me in the first place. Apparently this involve an access card for the garage but it is limited and probably was not available upon my arrival. I still think that staffing needs to be mindful about this issue for traveler with cars to avoid any potential travel delay.

Desk staff was friendly.The room was really small. We were there for 2 weeks and it was tough.The shower in the bathroom leaked. The solution was to give us more towels to catch the leak to keep from slipping on the marble floors. The bathroom was pretty but not very great for function. The small oval mirror over the sink was set at a height for a tall person. I am 5'2" and the bottom of the mirror cut me off at my throat. The small sink area had a vessel sink so I couldn't really lean in to see better. The lighted magnigying mirror didn't work. The hairdryer is hidden in the armoire in the bedroom. It's attached to the inside of the armoire. Hair drying meant standing between the end of the bed and the armoire and bumping elbows into the other door while blocking traffic to get to the small table and chairs or just try to get around the bed. Moody and dim lighting made seeing what you're doing tough. Breakfast looked adequate. For the price of one person's breakfast, we went to the yummy local bakeries instead. There is a no charge afternoon tea service that has leftover baked goods from breakfast and an electric tea kettle. Listed as a 4 star hotel but not sure why. There's no real restaurant or bar, just the breakfast room. No gym or room service or any other 4 star services. Airport transport for a fee. Great location for Metro and Eiffel Tower. Quiet at night typically.

Our room was a couple of blocks from the Eiffel tower in a neighborhood with a fantastic bakery on the corner as well as surrounded by some great restaurants & a train station. The afternoon free snacks, tea and coffee were welcomed. The bed was super comfy and the 2 chairs opened into regular comfortable twin beds allowing our 2 kids to have their own bed. Room size was just right and the cost was great! Breakfast is an extra charge which we did NOT partake due to the bakery/coffee shop being nearby.

Zu viert ist das Zimmer recht klein und leider mit lauten Nachbarn über uns sehr hellhörig. Die Gegend und Nähe zum Eiffelturm ist super und das Personal sehr freundlich. Eine vorab Reservierung des Parkplatzes wäre wünschenswert gewesen.

Hotel was beautiful and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Area surrounding hotel was clean and safe. Short walk to the Eiffel Tower. Train station was close and convenient. Didn’t have breakfast. Preferred walking to get coffee and pastries at local cafes. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Hope to come back again.

I had heard this property had Hermes toiletries which is why I booked it. It was $400 for the night and I could’ve gotten a better hotel room for half that. The night staff when I arrived was super nice, but the lady in the morning was interrogative and overbearing. I was simply walking out to get breakfast and she was like I don’t know you, are you going out for the day are you checking out. Like calm down, I’m minding my business. The room gave me concerns about cleanliness. There was old water in the kettle, there was a note for a Ms Estrada (not me), when I turned on the tv it was greeting for someone named Amy Coney or something (also not me). Nothing was welcoming to me. I wouldn’t stay here again. No value for the cost.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Rooms are bigger than the average Paris hotels. Great location. Exceptional staff. Very close to the metro, convenience store and restaurants and bakeries.

The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel is a short walk from a well-connected metro station. However, the check-in area was shabby. The bedroom had a chair in it with a palm-sized while in the fabric. The bathroom had tepid hot water and the handheld shower head did not work at all. The emergency phone in the bathroom had shredded wires connecting the handle to the phone. Worst of all, the heating for the bedroom and bathroom were not working.

Quick check in/out. Clean room, comfortable bed. We chose the Superior Room for the small balcony to enjoy fresh air. Close walk to food and the Tower. Easy access point for Bolt/Uber. Friendly staff. They let us store our luggage for a few hours after checking out.

The Eiffel Tower and its surroundings are easily walkable, and the hotel is just a few steps from Metro Line 10, which makes getting around Paris extremely convenient. There are many restaurants, cafés, and fast-food options nearby, so finding something to eat at any time of the day was never an issue. The reception staff truly deserve special mention. They were exceptionally friendly, warm, and sincere, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Their attitude was genuinely hospitable and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was more than sufficient for a city hotel and very enjoyable. Fresh items, good coffee, and a well-organized service made it a great start to busy sightseeing days. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, perfectly in line with typical Paris standards. The hotel overall felt calm, tidy, and pleasant. In summary, with its outstanding location, easy access to public transport, welcoming staff, and strong value for money, Hotel Ares Eiffel is an excellent choice in Paris and one we would confidently recommend.

I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. The staff was very friendly. It was convenient to the metro and within a very walkable distance to so many spots. There were good restaurants nearby. The room was spotless and beautiful...oh and a good size.

Non posso che essere soddisfatta del mio soggiorno. L'hotel è a due passi dalla Torre Eiffel, in una zona tranquilla e ottima posizione rispetto ai servizi (metro, taxi, ristoranti, farmacia, ecc). Camera pulita. Tutto il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile, in particolare il proprietario.

Hotel location was great and safe. Hotel was about 15 minute walk to the base of the Eiffel Tower. I reserved a room for 4 people (my wife, 14 year old and 11 year old daughters and myself). I did feel like the room was way too small for 4 people. Not enough room to walk around and not enough space for our luggage. Our room size would be fine for 2 people, but not 4 people.

Beautiful building, small rooms, nice library, poor noise insulation, convenient area with great dining options, cleaning services need to be improved.

Staff is very nice and location is convenient for walking around. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Only two issues were that we could hear lots of noises from the room next to us and the air conditioning did not seem to be working.

The Hotel Ares is in a good location. The rooms are very small but decorated nicely. There was nowhere to put our clothes so we had to leave them in our luggage on the floor. I asked if there were any luggage stands and inquired about the wifi (we were unable to connect or unable to stay connected) and she said they would check but I did not hear back. I also asked for assistance with tours, restaurants etc and the gal at the front desk handed me an outdated pamphlet and offered no other assistance. One night we asked for a taxi and were told to walk to the Starbucks to the taxi stand instead. Our last day however, two men, one I think may have been the manager helped us get a taxi for the morning for our ride to the airport which was much appreciated.

This hotel is in a great location within walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, metro stations, and the commuter rail that goes to Versailles. It's a quiet neighborhood, but there are still a good selection of cute restaurants nearby. The hotel was clean, but you can definitely see the wear and tear in the rooms. The walls are also very thin. We were on the top floor and it got pretty warm on a Spring day. There is AC technically, but felt it mostly in the bathroom and not the bedroom. We didn't get the breakfast, so can't speak to it, but we were able to find lots of options nearby.

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and good location. Lots of restaurants nearby with great atmosphere. We stayed in one of the suites with the Eiffel Tower view. I’d definitely recommend.

Room was small, but I think that pretty much most hotels in Europe

The staff was very nice and and the room was clean. However, the elevator was small and you could hear other guests in their rooms which wasn’t great when you were trying to sleep. Thankfully, it was not on a busy street so not too much noise from the outside. Not a bad hotel but overpriced in my opinion.

The room and the staff amenities were all good and very good. The poor rating was given because at check in, in addition to a deposit, there was insistence to scan my credit card (and passports). I was told that is the hotel requirement, but I stated clearly that a request for a copy of my credit card including pin, expiry and long card number is unacceptable.

Ares Hotel was excellent and the rooms clean and great location. Everyone at Hotel were very helpful and humble. Our room request to be on higher floors was provided. Room was very comfortable and we had an awesome comfort. Location of hotel was great just few minutes walk to train station and Eiffel Tower. Isabelle, Roberto and every employee in hotel were very helpful. Thank you for an awesome experience.

The staff were very welcoming and of course friendly. If I have to be particular, Isabelle and Enso, they were fantastic. At the breakfast nook, Mary was great. A great location. All in all, a perfect place to stay when you’re in Paris. 100% recommendations.

This was a great place to stay! It was within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower and many dining options. The staff we encountered were fabulous. Especially would like to praise David and Enzo for their helpfulness, courtesy, and friendliness. David especially gets 5 stars!

I cannot rave enough about this property. The staff was what made the stay perfect. They were so kind, welcoming and helpful. This is a boutique style hotel in a quiet part of town, yet still within a 10 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. 10 minutes to the lawn infront of the tower, not just 10 minutes until you see it. Lots of stores, pharmacies and dining options were walkable and the metro station is just a few steps away. Our room was nice and the breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again should life bring my family back to Paris.

Room was nice but could hear sound from other rooms. The rooms are not soundproof. The ventilation in the water closet is very bad. The hotel is stingy about keeping coffee/ creamer pods in the rooms. We stayed for 6 nights and we had to keep on asking at the front desk. Front desk staff except Christin were very friendly and approachable. Christin was very cold and very short.

I don’t think this is a 4 star property, more like a 3. We did find the hotel had a musty smell and it was run down in places. The rooms were well appointed and the breakfast was average. The rooms are incredibly small but that’s expected in Paris.

Breakfast is very convenient! Enzo at the night shift front desk, is amazing. He helped us with everything. The ladies in the morning shift are more serious and they don't say much, but are very professional.

The staff was great! The location was amazing it was a short walk from the tower and we got to see the Eiffel Tower from our room! There were plenty of restaurants nearby as well. The bed was really big and comfortable. The only cons were that they only had small size bath robes, when I called to order a bigger size even a medium the front desk informed me there are no other sizes. Additionally, they have a QR code for room service. However, not only do they not deliver it to your room and make you come get it from the front desk. But it is not in building, it seemed to be from a third party the food was cold and there is no microwave. When I went to pick up the food the staff did not know what was going on and didn’t know room service was available. Another down side was the shower, there is only a 2-3 foot piece of glass covering a fraction of the shower which leads to a lot of water on the floor which makes it very slippery and dangerous. Other than that everything was great there is a subway entrance near the hotel which made it easy to get around. Roberto was great and friendly! Thank you again!

Veldig fin beliggenhet i forhold til Eiffeltårnet og andre severdigheter. Rolig området med det meste i nærheten av hotellet. Skuffende frokost, men personellet var veldig hyggelige og behjelpelig.

just what you would expect. everything was fine. breakfast was dissapointing due to very low choice of breakfast. everything else was nice. staff is very nice and owner of hotel even said hi which is very welcoming.
