The hotel’s online marketing makes it appear nicer than it actually is. While the room itself was generally fine, the shower didn’t look very clean, with dark spots on the tiles and door. The walls were also quite thin, so I could hear everything happening in the hallway. Breakfast was acceptable, though offering a bit more variety would improve the experience. The staff was friendly overall, but I was concerned that no identification was requested at check-in, and I received conflicting information from different employees on separate nights.

They advertise rooms with false photos that don't match the actual rooms. Receptionists say they'll fix your problem but never get back to you. They blame the owners, who ignore the staff's feedback and never respond to guest complaints. The hotel has six floors and a non-working elevator. The room had burned-out light bulbs, mold on the walls, stains on the furniture, a broken shower, unstable and battered furniture, and a broken curtain rod. Terrible service. Disgraceful breakfast: apples, bread, and water. They don't respond to emails or WhatsApp messages.

It’s hard to say whether this is good value or not. Over £200’for a night which, Relative to the other rooms in Paris at £350+ a night, I suppose it was. But relative to any other hotel in the world outside Paris it absolutely wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong the bedsheets and surfaces were clean enough. But the shower head was broken and hung down, the hairdryer didn’t work, the mattress was 2 inches thick, the bathroom light was cracked and broken and the whole room was dated and tired. All I can say is it’s exactly what you’d expect to pay £19 a night for in Blackpool. If you’re not fussy and just want a clean bed for a nights kip, it did a job.
