The young barman was more concerned with escaping from the bar and having a vape across the road than serving guests. He was extremely rude when it was pointed out we had been waiting 20 minutes to be served on terrace. Challenged and laughed out loud at that suggestion - which was true. Wrong person to be working in such a prestige environment. So disappointing.

It smelt of cigar smoke when we arrived and later smelt of dampness. There were greasy ‘forehead’ marks on the windows and a full strip of ‘Advil’ tablets on the floor by the curtain! Not acceptable standard for this overprice accommodation.

There was pooh stains in the toilet prior to my arrival, also they gave a room that kept shaking whenever the staff would ise the doors. So basically was woken up every 15 minutes after 6.30 am highhtly dissatisfied. The front desk person Olivier is really nice though.
