Top marks for Hotel Rochester located right in the centre of Paris, a mere 3 min walk from the Champs Elysee. I have stayed in hotels from the USA to Australia and this room, situated on the top (8th) floor was certainly the quietest and probably the most spacious. The public areas of the hotel were beautifully decorated and comfortable. The excellence of the accommodation was matched by the staff all of whom were welcoming, friendly and charming. They went above and beyond expectations whenever we requested - assistance with taxis, restaurants, drinks, luggage and more. When next in Paris, we will endeavour to stay here. Recommended to everyone!

Just the right place to be in the heart of Paris. Walking distance to Champs Elysee with all the shopping an dining. We booked a junior suite and stayed on the 6th floor. Hotel room was spacious and we had views of the street below. There were only 2 rooms located on the 6th floor which was a plus for us. They also have a restaurant on the lobby floor that serves all day breakfast/brunch. Food was ok just to satisfied out of hunger from a long flight. Staff was very welcoming and helped us throughout our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely come back if the price is right again.

The employees at the bar must be trained about how to talk to customers. They make stupid comments that doesn't help anything. Also, not having a thing at the bar while sipping a drink is just unbelievable. It should have at least had something like cheese, cracker, charcuterie, olives, maybe a basic sandwich etc. which wouldn't require any cooking.

I cannot understand the high ratings they have been given. The room carpets were disgusting so the provided slippers were appreciated, even if they were 2 sizes too small. You will need them in the bathroom where the tile floor is sticky. This is likely atom all the dog urine in the streets and people walking in the room with their shoes on. The safe is 1/2 size and will not fit anything larger than a couple of kindles and your passports. I could not fit my iPad. The hotel WiFi is not secured (so anyone on the street can access their network and your devices). Use a VPN service. We requested a queen bed, there is none. What they do is put two beds together and use King sheets to hide the seam. The advertised airport shuttle sounds like it is complimentary, but in the details they state a surcharge which is $140 Euro. The way it is presented is very misleading. Any hotel could claim that they have a shuttle this way. But Expedia said this is “a rare find”. There are only 2 USB A charging stations at the desk (nothing bedside). Only 1 of the two ports worked for me. The breakfast is nothing special and we found the inlets down the street at Le Ponthieu was a better option for an omelette and croissant. The TV service for English speakers is basically limited to news channels, and they are euro centric. There are no streaming or on demand services available.

I don't have a single complaint about the Hotel Rochester Champs Elysees. Everything was wonderful from beginning to end. Our room was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. Check-in was very smooth with friendly staff. The location was perfect - close to shopping, dining and metro stops. I can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful hotel that is close walking distance to Champs Élysées. Rooms are clean and quiet. The entire staff are very kind and helpful, overall wonderful. My friend and I traveled here and felt very safe our entire stay. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent hotel near the Champs Elysees. Great service, the front desk people were always available and knowledgeable. And we had a great time there. A few things to note- when I was there in March 2025, there was construction going on right outside. It didn’t bother us too much because we were on the top floor, but it may affect lower floors. Also, they didn’t clean the room by 4:00 on any day. They did bring us extra towels and offer to clean it while we were there, but just keep that in mind. Again, maybe they clean faster in the lower floors. Overall I would recommend The Rochester. It was lovely.

We stayed in a junior suite and is spacious for 3 of us. The hotel provides bedroom slippers which are quite rare for hotels in European countries. For people who likes to shop for branded items, this hotel is a perfect choice as it is located just a few minutes walk from the busiest shopping street and Arc de Triomphe. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful throughout our stay there.

Nice room. Clean and spacious with a nice comfy bed. Great location, convenient for bars, restaurants, shops and Metro. Good quality continental breakfast. Only negative was the wifi in room. Slow and kept dropping. Not suitable for work requirements.

The staff was one of the best I've ever seen in the world. They were sincere genuine helpful attentive friendly and set the example for all others to follow. The breakfast was more than expected and the variety provided a huge selection. I was most impressed when I was waiting for the elevator and a staff member was delivering towels and we had no room to go in and he left the elevator so we could get in. The service by the concierge was the best I've ever experienced as they help me out by email before I got there and then spent a lot of time with me planning my week. Highly recommend this hotel over any major chain or any other option. I do travel a lot so I know what I'm talking about!

The only reason I rated overall 4 is that we had an issue that the neighboring rooms were making terrible noises middle of the night and smoking in the corridors. The reception as well as the concierge of the hotel did not respond. Which means I had to deal with it myself. This js not acceptable as it could have lead to a conflict or imagine there were an emergency but the reception does not respond. The reception lady apologized reluctantly next day. The rest and eapecially the breakfast was really good.

Overall the hotel was good. My checking in and out part could’ve been better. Checking in, it was my birthday and the staff member would’ve seen that when I handed my passport, I know it’s attention to detail but that’s something that was missed. Checking out, I did complain about noise coming from another room 2 days in an row between 1am-3am, and the staff member didn’t really acknowledge it, and was more worried about the new people who would have that room. Overall I’d say my experience was good but just a few things missed which would’ve made my experience a lot better. Good location, access to all the main tourist spots.

We reserved a Junior Suite via Expedia. It was beautiful and exactly as presented on the website. The staff, particularly in the restaurant (Breakfast until 130PM) was very accommodating and friendly. The management also assisted me significantly in approving a date change because of a booking error that I didn't catch until after it had been confirmed on Expedia. The location is excellent. Access to restaurants and a metro stop is just a few footsteps away. I would definitely stay there again.

I am pretty sure I will stay at this hotel for all of my future visits to Paris. It was comfortable and clean. We were really convenient to Champs Elysees. Just a couple of blocks away. An easy walk. We booked a bigger room and it was nice. Location is good as it’s just off Champ Élysées. Many dining options nearby. Breakfast was good as it starts from 7am-1.30pm which is rare for hotels.
