Timhotel Montmartre

It's a small boutique style hotel in a fantastic location within Montmarte. We only stayed there over night but the staff seemed nice. They also had what looked to be a good breakfast in the morning, although we didn't eat there. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Montmarte is a wonderful area ( very hilly, though). The hotel is walkable to to Sacre Coeur, the metro, many restaurants, the artist area, Moulin Rouge and more. You can see the whole city of Paris from Sacre Coeur. I imagine it would be easy to take the metro into the city, but we ended up taking a cab. We paid for a guided walking tour around Montmarte, which was nice.

The property was clean and tidy. They need more facilities for the reception area so more toilets etc The about section should tell you it is high up on a hill. Luckily myself and mum could walk up it but others may not. They also need to state it is noisy at night at the weekend

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the Montmartre neighborhood and Sacre-Coeur. In that regard, it was great. The hotel itself was far too expensive for what it provided: tiny rooms, tiny showers, an elevator that barely fit two people and our bags. Bare bones lodging. You’re paying for location only here.

The biggest issue with this hotel is the lack of outlets. We all need access to our devices and this property just isn’t equipped with it, we had ONE that we could use and then I decided it to unplug the TV so that makes two but still not acceptable as extension cords are needed. PLEASE PUT OUTLETS AT EACH SIDE BED!

Service in the kitchen was excellent, and the continental breakfast was great. The room was small, and the elevator even smaller. If there were a mouse living there, it would be hunchback.

Location was great. Hotel was acceptable. Elevator was out for a few hours on e day.

Great Hotel for a short stay. Like all things you must research what you want. This is not a full service hotel. It has a small breakfast area which is clean and adequate for a start to the day but no bar/lounge etc. But for us it was perfect for 3 days. Reception staff very good and our room (small suite on the top floor) was Great very clean and comfortable and a bit bigger than the standard. View of Paris and tower from one window and Sacre couer from the other. The centre of Mont Martre was where we wanted to be.

The bathroom room was so small it was practically unusable. The room is tiny and in need of decoration. The lift does not fit 4 people. The room keys had to be reset after every use.

The concierge was very friendly and welcoming Room very clean. The location was great Center of everything

This hotel is located in a great spot as it is walking distance to Sacré-Cœur, restaurants and retail shops. There is even a photo booth a few minutes away where you can purchase photo strips to take back home with you. The rooms are tiny and need a makeover. Same thing goes for the bathroom. I got the room with double balcony, it says it fits 3 people, we were only 2 people with 2 luggages and we were super tight. The bathroom was not as clean as it could have been. The shower head was dirty. All in all, for its location and price it's a 4 star for me.

Hotel had amazing views as we had the best room, let downs was the room smelt bad and the towels were definitely not clean as they had marks on them. Overall location was excellent with nice shops very close by.

This hotel was very clean and spacious. The front desk representatives were cheerful and helpful.

It’s a great location - that’s why I would recommend it. We’ve stayed several times before and we were really disappointed by the cleanliness, particularly the bathroom. Whilst the sink and bath appeared clean, the area around the base of the glass screen, the back of the toilet seat and the corners of the floor were not. A wipe with a tissue removed a lot of dirt. I reported this to the reception, asking that it be sorted by the evening. It was clean out request had been ignored. The receptionists were polite enough but seemed to consider that the limits of their responsibility, very disappointing. I will book elsewhere another time.

Timhotel Montmartre was perfect for our short stay in Paris. Our triple room was spotlessly clean; the beds were beautifully made and extremely comfortable; we had fresh towels, tea and coffee-making facilities and an amazing view of the Sacré Coeur Basilica. The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, and also very patient, allowing me to practise speaking in French :) The hotel is in a lovely location overlooking a little square and it was incredibly quiet at night.

Rooms are small which is to be expected in Paris but I got the best sleep, location was great

Awesome location for our first trip to Europe. Loved that it was off the main tourist path. The views from the Jr. suite have to be one of the best in Paris. Proximity to Abesses station is great for getting around town.

Room was great, could have a shower with a view of the Eiffel Tower :) but the shower itself was tiny, as is the lift. Located in an area full of local colour, lots of dining nearby, can walk to metro station. We had 4th floor with a view.

Traumhafter Ausblick über die Stadt inklusive Eiffelturm. Zimmer sind sehr klein, typisch Paris. Das Badezimmer ist schon fast zu klein, gerade die Dusche ist ein Abenteuerlicher Ort und nix für Menschen mit Platzangst.

The view and location are fantastic. However keep in mind that it’s Paris so it’s city noise and the shower was so small you can’t bend over in it. And when you use the toilet your forehead will touch the wall. And I’m five eight.

The room is very small and the shower is also very small, would not fit a big person. Location is really nice and convenient and the staff were very nice and helpful

The hotel room itself is very small but it was just what we needed - a place to sleep and freshen up after a long day of exploring Paris. The room we stayed in had a double bed but it seemed like it was two singles pushed together which meant there was a crack in the middle of the bed. A con would be the blow dryer only worked on the lowest setting if you set it to cool which meant it took forever to blow dry your hair. We wished there was one more chair or spot to put a luggage as there were two of us in the room and one of us had to leave our suitcase on the floor and open it every single time we needed to get new clothes as the closet space only had 3 hangers. Besides all of this, the room itself was clean and had air conditioning. Would totally recommend! Love from the Wongs!

This hotel is lovely and in a great area. Our room, however, was the smallest room I have ever seen! That may not be a big deal if you are only sleeping there but it's worth mentioning. it was very tight for myself and my son. Other than that, very nice staff and wonderful location.

Had an amazing trip. Knew I'd booked a room with city view, but Wow! Saw the beautiful lights of the Eiffel tower every night. Monmatre is a great place to stay. So close to Sacre Soeur and beautiful square surrounded by artists and cafes. bedroom. We walked the whole city and it was also very close to the Metro. Only bad comment was the shower was tiny and not good for anyone over 6ft. But that was the only thing. Highly recommend to stay here.

Very handy to Abbesses metro station as well as within walking distance of Sacre-Coeur & the many cafes in Montmartre. Will definitely stay here again. Staff were so helpful couldn’t recommend here enough!

The receptionist Gabriela (blond) who greeted us upon our arrival was impatient and argumentative because our rooms were not ready. We returned exhausted after 2 pm and still no rooms ready. They charged us the full amount of a superior room then gave us a comfort room, smaller etc. Gabrielle said there was a 128$ per person per night tourism tax, and couldn't provide a print out of charges. When we finally arrived to the third floor with all our luggage, our room was not ready. So us and all our luggage sat in the narrow hallway triangle seat 4 ppl waiting... We were finally moved to the adjacent room, which I guess was ready? We were overcharged again for our second room too when it finally became available. Then upon check out the asked again for another additional charge of 45 Eu? The receptionist was unable to tell me what the charge was for, he was genuinely confused what the charge was for? (showed me the screen which had a red 45 EU. He was unable to provide a print out, itemized breakdown of room charges or reciept for the entire stay. He said he would email it to me, and of course I haven't received it. I am fluently bilingual, work in french and commmunicated in french which didn't seem to help at all. This had been my favourite hotel for 15 years, former flight attendant, but now I will go elsewhere for my springtime in Paris stays.

The people on the front desk have little knowledge of directions around the area. A little confused about my reservation. When, check in I was told the only money I owe was the tax which I paid immediately then the night before I departed the Brazilian clerk wanted to double charge me for the reservation it was obvious he didn’t know what he was talking about and to top it off he was RUDE. The rooms are very small and uncomfortable the bathroom was tiny and uncomfortable too, very hard to wash oneself. The breakfast was excellent and the cleaning staff are very friendly.

The location, breakfast, and the view were great, but it’s too bad that our sink got clogged immediately after first use and the staff kept promising to fix it, but no attempts were made. I understand that it’s a historic building with old pipes but it seems that staff were aware of the issue and were just determined to ignore it.

I feel so lucky to have come across this cozy hotel! Tucked into the hills of Montmarte it is super easy to walk to and from. The reception staff was super kind and helpful - they even helped arrange a taxi for me to pick up in the wee hours to go to the airport for an early flight! The hotel itself is sweet, clean with a comfy bed and nice bathroom- it actually looked like the photos I saw online! Thank you again for a lovely stay - I will return.

The location is perfect. Right at the heart of Montmartre with plenty of nice coffee, bars and restaurants on its doorsteps. The rooms are giid for the price, clean and bedding is great. Staff is friendly and Available 24h. I’ll stay there again.

A very nice hotel with an excellent staff. Great location in Montmarte. The only downside is walking up the hill from the Metro. It’s difficult with luggage.

Perfect location in Manmartre to explore and close to Metro, really quiet also. Room was good if not a bit small but then again what rooms are big in Paris. Fully recommended.

Veldig koselig hotell for våre 4 netter på 3 mannsrom. Koselig nabolag med en gaterestaurant rett utenfor. Vi var heldig og fikk rom med balkong ut mot gaten. Noe som var koselig. Rommet var ikke stort men vi hadde det vi trengte. Perfekt med AC på rommet. Hotellet ligger i veldig kort avstand til Sacre-coeur. Det ligger også litt opp i høyden så man må påregne å gå litt i bakker. Men er helt klart verdt det.

Eu já estive inúmeras vezes em Paris, me hospedei em diferentes hotéis, porém dessa vez foi a melhor escolha. Localização perfeita e atendimento top. O bairro Monmartre é encantador.

Wonderful location in Montmartre! Beautiful cobblestone streets and lots of options nearby by for restaurants. We were lucky to have a stunning view of the city (and even a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower!). We really enjoyed our stay. The only thing that may be helpful to consider is having a mini fridge in the rooms.

Staff was very nice and the location is very walkable. One thing to note though, you have to go up the stairs before you get to the hotel entrance which could be a bit annoying if you have lots of bags

I loved how safe I felt in this hotel. It was very centrally located and perfect for a stay in Montmartre. My room was 118 and there was noise at night heating pipes/ water going non stop. Other than that it was perfect. The breakfast was fabulous and staff were lovely

Charmerende, men badeværelset var af kosteskab typen, brusekabinen er ekstremt lille. Venligt og smilende stab, rent og velholdt og ud til et lille torv med barer og gademusikanter. God og rigelig morgenbuffet.

De kamer was verschrikkelijk. Het was een voormalige 3 persoons kamer met twee losse bedden, maar de hoofdeinden van de drie bedden van de vorige bedden zaten nog bevestigd aan de muur. Er ontbraken stopcontacten bij de nachtkastjes, dus je moest het bed uit om op de telefoon te kijken hoe laat het was. De toilet/doucheruimte was zeer krap, geen goede spiegelverlichting en de wc was onhandig geplaatst. De aankleding van gangen, ontbijtruimte was krakkemikkig en aftands. Het personeel was wel vriendelijk, maar eerst toeristenbelasting betalen en dan pas verder praten. Het gebodene was echt het geld NIET waard. Wij hadden zonder ontbijt geboekt en dat was maar goed ook. We hebben gezien dat (vlees)beleg van de ochtend weer de dag erna werd geserveerd. Bovendien wilde het personeel dat wij ontbijt moesten betalen terwijl we geen ontbijt gehad hadden. Er ontspond een hele discussie daarover.

Hotel perto da sacre coeur. Muito bem localizado. Recomento. Café da manhã com boas opções e de qualidade. Recomendo.

A very nice hotel in the heart of Montmartre! Lots of nice coffee shops and restaurants near by, as well as a great cocktail bar or two. Rooms were well maintained and staff were friendly. Breakfast was a bit expensive but the spread was pretty comprehensive. Would happily return
