The rooms need redecoration and are not insulated. First night I was given a room on the second floor facing the Main Street. I couldn’t sleep all night due to the noise of nightclubs just outside the hotel which are open until 5am. The next morning i requested a change of room and was given a room facing the inside patio. This solved the issue but I just wouldn’t risk it next time I come to Paris.

Room was not like the picture. Felt like a 3 star hotel. Shower was very tiny (the smallest I have seen at any hotels I stayed at and I travel a lot - u cant move and if it was a big person it would be more problematic) as well as the elevators and hallways. Bed was ok. My room was nothing like the pictures online. Even the floor was uneven. Breakfast is average and it was disappointing that the pastries were a hit or miss for a country knows for his excellent pastries (I flew in from Madrid where I was visiting for fews days and the 4 star hotel there had much better breakfast choices). The location is good with many dining options and metro. You can walk to the Opera (15min) and even get the Louvre (25-30min walk). I will not stay at this hotel again as the price / quality was disappointing.

Check in/ check out was smooth and our luggage was kept safe on the last day while we enjoyed our last day before travel. Our bedroom was clean and a good size, however our bathroom was a disappointment and a little bit disgusting with black mould around the old cracked bathroom window and mould in the tile grouting. The bath was chipped with a shower over- which was difficult to shower under due to the connector tube between the taps and shower head being short. There was no air vent/ extractor fan. The bathroom and windows really need replacing/ renovating so I felt this was poor for a ? 4* hotel

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Paris Opera Hotel. It is a well appointed, accessible and clean hotel, conveniently located near the Metro and many sites. The location is great. The Metro is just in front, restaurants are plenty, bars and clubs are near-by. Shopping is near. But all this comes with a noise problem. Although the room was very large, there was no drawers or shelves. I had to live out of my suitcase and I was not happy with this. The staff was extremely nice and friendly and always with a big smile which makes things very good.

We arrived at 1 pm after a red eye. They allowed us to check in early and we went right to sleep. My son turned 18 during our stay and we were given a cheese tray and a nice card. A little noisy on street side, Friday and Saturday more so. Radiator heat, can get warm, front desk came and unlocked our windows so we could open them. Breakfast buffet many choices, so unique to Paris. Metro 8 and 9 goes right in front of hotel. Can get easily to RER and airport (although we booked parashuttle) Would stay again

My sister and I were very happy with our Hotel choice. The staff was kind and friendly and Ishara was a great help when we needed information referring to the use of the Metro system, visiting (by walking) other areas of Paris as well as arranging for our transfer to CDG for our flight home. A great asset for the Hotel. All in all, a very pleasant experience which we hope to repeat on our next European vacation.

Great staff. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Louis at the front desk was very kind. Ishara was also helpful. The location is very good for restaurants and sightseeing. However there is a pub downstairs which runs late into the late night. It did not bother me but it should be mentioned for those who would like to avoid it.

The hotel is in an excellent location with many of the usual sits that a tourist would want to visit either by walking or the Metro access just a few metres from the hotel. We would certainly recommend this to anyone that is considering Paris as a short/medium city break.
