From the moment we arrived until we left the staff here were exceptionally polite, kind and helpful. The room was clean and it was especially useful to have use of the kitchenette. It’s in a prime location for the beach and restaurants. Will go back. My thanks to all the staff during our stay July 29 - August 2.

I have now stayed here 3 times and its always a pleasure. The staff are so friendly and kind. This is my first choice to stay when I am in Nice. I like that the rooms hsve a kitchenette and there is a grocery store nearby.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! The location is perfectly walkable, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the lounge offers free coffee all day. Rooms are spacious, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, complete with a kitchenette (microwave, fridge, kettle, stovetop, and espresso machine). I loved all the design touches throughout the space. My only suggestion would be to add safety handles/bars in the shower/tub area to make it easier and safer to step out.

Loved the service and staff at the hotel. Would highly recommend this location given how close it is to the water and every other location however, I will say that the hotel is a bit dated Based on the photos that I received about the location. I love that each room was set up with a refrigerator and microwave as well as like a hot plate. Pretty spacious room. The guy who sits at the front was extremely welcoming and appreciated his warm, greetings every day that we left and came to the hotel. Coffee/hot chocolate machine that we had access to 24 hours a day. The buffet could be better and often that was hosting the buffet, always irritated so those things I would think need to improve, but otherwise overall great experience

The staff were very welcoming, the little extras that made our stay more enjoyable were a nice touch for example we had a hand written welcome message left in our room, and a hot drinks machine was available in the dining/bar area which you could get a drink at any time. The reception staff were very helpful with suggestions of where to visit or restaurants, this helped make the best use of the time we stayed as the recommendations were very good. We will definitely be back in the autumn as this is a great place to stay, 5 minutes from the tram station and a stroll to the promenade. Thank you to all at the Jay.

This boutique hotel was perfect for our needs: budget yet very stylish is what we always seek and this hotel had it all plus plus! Excellent location walking distance to the coast and main promenade. The room was was a lot for the money, kitchenette, separate living room and plenty of closets. The staff were so friendly with complimentary espresso and large refillable glass bottles for filling at the tap with still or sparkling water to take up to the room. The area was very nice and so convenient. Loved it!

Highly recommend hotel Jay. Staff were very friendly, updated amenities, location was perfect, close to the beach, not too close to noise. Do not expect a kitchen, only enough to heat food in the microwave, and make a sandwich. Otherwise included breakfast was good, and lobby espresso machine was a treat.

Insgesamt ist die Unterkunft für den kleinen Geldbeutel ok gewesen, nah am Strand, mit kleinem Lebensmittelladen um die Ecke. Ruhig gelegen, wenn die Baustelle nicht da wäre… die lautesten Arbeiten fanden am Abend statt und dauerten teilweise bis spät in die Nacht hinaus. Personal war nett, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben Option mit Frühstück gebucht. Es ist ausbaubedürftig. Bei der Ankunft war das Apartment sauber, wobei roch es im Zimmer ziemlich unangenehm. Es wurde nicht gründlich gereinigt: der Boden ist oft nicht sauber gemacht worden.

The staff is very friendly, you can get a taxi if needed in one to five minutes. The sea is only a few blocks away. There is a grocery store a block down, a pharmacy across the street, easy walk to the train station, and although the wallpaper is a bit odd, the room is nice and clean. I would add another trash can in the main area and give Americans a way to work through the television process, but otherwise it was perfect!

I stayed for 7 nights including a weekend and it was extremely noisy during the weekend. If you are not going to be out partying till 3AM, this is not the right place. If you like to stay up late then this might be a good place as the strip nearby has a lot of restaurants that opens till late. Grocery is located half a block away and the beach is so close. There was one day we didnt ask for a room service and as I switched the light up in the middle of the night, a huge waterbug went across the room. Waterbug looks like a cockroach, just bigger. Another day, I closed the bathroom door a bit hard and the utility door behind the toilet came down crashing into the toilet and breaking it. I was happy no one was sitting on that toilet as that could have been a bad slam on the head. At least the mechanic came to fix the toilet right away. I liked the free pastries they sometimes put out infront of the water cooler in the lobby. Other than the noise on the weekend, a random bug, and some odd toilet incident, this place is very decent. No other problems besides those.

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay at the Jay hotel. We arrived quite early and was able to drop our bags off and explore nice whilst waiting for our room to be ready. On arrival back to the hotel we were greeted and given our room. The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was perfect, close to the beach and shops, it was also very easy to find. The bed was extremely comfortable our surroundings were quiet. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Cons: No idea how the property received a 4 star rating, condition of the property and amenities offered are certainly not at this level. Reception area felt cluttered. Bathrooms dated and sub-optimally designed (water goes everywhere when you take a shower). Overall the property feels dated and gives fancy motel/hostel vibes.

Lite mindre hotell som ligger väldigt centralt. Nära till allt och 3 min promenad till stranden. Vi hade ett familjerum som hade skiljevägg mellan rummen, litet pentry och fräscht badrum. Personalen var väldigt trevlig och tillmötesgående. Väldigt nöjda!

Hotel muito bem localizado, perto de tudo a pé. Quarto grande com cozinha completa e uma sala muito espaçosa com uma pequena varanda muito agradável. Cama muito confortável com excelentes travesseiros e roupa de cama.

We stayed for 2 nights. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Nice touches, like a handwritten welcome note and free water refills. We had a room for 3 without balcony on top floor. It was beautifully decorated, true to photographs. It felt slightly small for 3 and I would probably chose the balcony room next time. It was very good value for money however. Sofa-bed was unfortunately very uncomfortable, the mattress was dipped in several places. Bathroom ok, shower difficult to get right as taps were separate. The room was situated at the rear of the building, which was lovely and quiet at night. The location of the hotel was great - about 1 block back from Rue De France which made everything walkable. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely consider staying again. Lovely hotel and fantastic staff.

The road its on was fairly busy during our stay so if your a light sleeper id suggest asking for a room that doesn’t face the road. Our aircon didnt seem to work that well , the room was fairly got most of the time despite setting the thermosat to a low temp,as we visited in winter this wasnt a huge issue though and we didnt report it.

So I booked this very last minute , I had originally booked another place which I found so rude and they wanted me to wait until 2pm to check in so I decided to go to this boutique hotel instead . The receptionist was so lovely and polite after seeing how tired I was they made my room available straight away at 11 am without any extra charges ! Amazing staff..close to literally everything Will be returning Thank you !

From the moment we arrived until we left the staff here were exceptionally polite, kind and helpful. The room was clean and it was especially useful to have use of the kitchenette. It’s in a prime location for the beach and restaurants. Will go back. My thanks to all the staff during our stay July 29 - August 2.

I could not find fault in the property. It is centrally located and customer service was excellent and this will set them apart from the rest. The moment we checked-in we were taken care of right away by Liliana even if we arrived early for our check-in. We stayed for seven nights. Allan at the reception (night shift) was the best - he made us feel like we are friends and every time we walk back in the hotel, he would ask how we were, what do we need and always calls us "TEAM BALTAZAR". We were touched when he mentioned that he cannot see us during our last few days as he will be off. We were a bit sad as we were looking forward to our short chit chats with him. If we go back to NICE - we will definitely stay here again. Location is perfect, the amenities were very good and staff were the best.

The staff were very welcoming, the little extras that made our stay more enjoyable were a nice touch for example we had a hand written welcome message left in our room, and a hot drinks machine was available in the dining/bar area which you could get a drink at any time. The reception staff were very helpful with suggestions of where to visit or restaurants, this helped make the best use of the time we stayed as the recommendations were very good. We will definitely be back in the autumn as this is a great place to stay, 5 minutes from the tram station and a stroll to the promenade. Thank you to all at the Jay.

There is a guy at the lobby who I forgot to ask his name but he was super nice and he memorized all the families last names!! Such a nice gesture. It is super convenient, closed to downtown and train station. You don’t need a taxi at all

My stay was good and I stayed for six nights. What amazed me was that on Expedia said it is a 4 star hotel. This Jay hotel by Happy Culture is far from 4 star hotel. It is definitely a 3 star hotel. The location was very convenient, but surrounding area was dirty with big trash cans outside the hotel plus homeless being around and at nights get noisy. The staff were very nice but the manager was very unpleasant. The first morning I was there I had breakfast and that was nothing special for the price tag. The second day on I asked if I can get juts a croissant since I have to take my medication in the morning not with empty stomach. She said okay but she was policing me like I ma going to steal the entire place with her looks. I also asked her about an address and instead of explaining the route to some one who is going to stay for six nights as opposed to others stay for 2 or nights, she responded with a cold tone to the sea. that is all! Over all was okay but again it is absolutely a star hotel and not a friendly manager. I will not choose this hotel for the next time in Nice.

Loved the service and staff at the hotel. Would highly recommend this location given how close it is to the water and every other location however, I will say that the hotel is a bit dated Based on the photos that I received about the location. I love that each room was set up with a refrigerator and microwave as well as like a hot plate. Pretty spacious room. The guy who sits at the front was extremely welcoming and appreciated his warm, greetings every day that we left and came to the hotel. Coffee/hot chocolate machine that we had access to 24 hours a day. The buffet could be better and often that was hosting the buffet, always irritated so those things I would think need to improve, but otherwise overall great experience

This boutique hotel was perfect for our needs: budget yet very stylish is what we always seek and this hotel had it all plus plus! Excellent location walking distance to the coast and main promenade. The room was was a lot for the money, kitchenette, separate living room and plenty of closets. The staff were so friendly with complimentary espresso and large refillable glass bottles for filling at the tap with still or sparkling water to take up to the room. The area was very nice and so convenient. Loved it!

Highly recommend hotel Jay. Staff were very friendly, updated amenities, location was perfect, close to the beach, not too close to noise. Do not expect a kitchen, only enough to heat food in the microwave, and make a sandwich. Otherwise included breakfast was good, and lobby espresso machine was a treat.
